I have grown up around dogs. My family have had big dogs, small dogs, rescue dogs, puppies etc., often at the same time. Since 12, I have dog sat for various family members, neighbours and friends. I had a big part in training my families dogs and am confident with all kinds of dog characters, young pups and rescue dogs, as well as adult dogs.

I work full time but my hours are flexible. I do go into the office but I can choose which, and how many, days I go in. My availability is very flexible: I am available during the week and weekend days, throughout the day. 

My flat is on the 3rd floor so any dogs that don't like stairs would need to be comfortable being carried up. Unfortunately, this means I don't have a garden but there is green space just in front of my house and a few minutes walk is the huge and dog friendly Kennington park. I love walking and, if your dog is happy to, I would love to take them a bit further than that (typically anywhere between 30 minutes and 1 hour, up to twice a day depending on owners wishes)! I like to vary where I walk to dogs, when possible to give them the most variation. I tend to go for big green open spaces or footpaths (off of main roads). I will abide by the owners instructions when caring for a dog but I am not able to administer medicine or offer any training or grooming services. I live with my partner who is usually at the office but also loves dogs and will happily keep the company with me. We do not have any pets of our own at the moment sadly but I can only look after 1 dog at a time due to space as I wouldn't want any pup to feel cramped.

When looking after a pet, I dedicate all my time to them and their needs. It is important that I am able to leave them alone for a quick errand (up to 30 minutes) in case of an emergency, and that they are comfortable sleeping in a room on their own during the night (as they will sleep in my living room which is next to my bedroom). I can make accomodations to spend 24/7 with pets for short stays. When previously living with pets, I have fit my routine around them, ensuring that they are my first priority and get everything they need and deserve, and more!

I completely respect an owners wishes and will stick to instructions they give - I understand how scary it can be leaving your gorgeous pet with someone else so I want to make the experience as stress free and easy as possible for owners and pets alike!
