Hello! I’m Tirath (29) and I live with my girlfriend Megan (28) in Castlefield, Manchester.

We’re huge dog lovers with hands-on experience caring for a range of breeds, from Dachshunds to Labradors. I also grew up around Dobermans, so I’m very comfortable handling larger, stronger dogs. Megan was raised with a Chocolate Lab, so between us we’ve spent years around dogs with different temperaments and energy levels.

We live in a clean, secure city centre apartment with plenty of space for a dog to relax comfortably. While we don’t have a garden, we’re surrounded by great walking routes and green spaces, so dogs still get plenty of time outdoors.

A typical day with us includes 1 to 2 walks (usually 30 to 60 minutes each depending on your dog), along with plenty of play, attention, and downtime. We’re happy to stick closely to your dog’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, walk preferences, and any training or boundaries you have in place.

When a dog first stays with us, we take time to introduce them gradually and let them explore the space at their own pace so they feel comfortable and settled.

We understand that every dog is different. We’re comfortable with excitable, high-energy dogs as well as more nervous or anxious ones, and we always adjust our approach to suit them.

Your dog’s safety and comfort are our priority. We supervise dogs closely in the home and never leave them alone for long periods. In most cases, they would only be left for short periods if we need to step out, and we always plan this around their needs. We’re also happy to administer medication if needed with clear instructions, and we’ll keep you updated with messages and photos throughout their stay.

In terms of sleeping arrangements, we’re flexible. Your dog can sleep wherever they’re most comfortable, whether that’s their own bed, a crate, or in the same room as us.

Megan works from home a couple of days a week, and I have full flexibility to work from home, so your dog will have plenty of company and attention throughout the day.

We offer day care, walks, and overnight stays, and try to be as flexible as possible to fit around your schedule.

We don’t currently have a dog of our own, so your dog will get our full attention while they’re with us.
