Hello I’m Rosie. I'm retired and live in the Trinity area of north Edinburgh with Daisy, my beautiful 14 year old silver spot / silver tabby house cat. 

Having had the worry of finding someone reliable to look after Daisy when I was away at the same time as my regular sitter, I decided to become a sitter myself. I love what I do, and now have experience of visiting cats, hamsters and chinchillas. 

The area I cover in Edinburgh are Trinity, Newhaven, New Town and within about a mile radius from Goldenacre.

Before any booking is confirmed, I will pop round to meet you and your cat(s) to discuss their needs, and make sure we are both happy with the arrangements. I am keen to understand their personalities, their likes and dislikes and their daily routine. I'm happy to administer medication if necessary, so that they are well cared for. I can be very flexible on visiting hours depending on what is preferred: Morning, evening, or maybe a visit during the day when you’re at work. Please note that for new clients I need at least one weeks notice.

If you choose me to look after your feline friend, I assure you that I will spend time with them to play and give lots of cuddles (if that’s what they like), whilst also making sure they are well looked after with their food in clean bowls and the litter tray cleaned out. Photos will be sent to you each day with an update.

For background, I grew up on farm surrounded by animals, feeding calves and hens and had several cats and dogs until I left home. My favourites were the cats and kittens but I’m confident with any animal, big or small. I took early retirement a few years ago and keep active doing gardening, fitness classes and walking. I love to travel, do a bit of volunteering and I enjoy meeting new people and their pets.

I’m very caring, trustworthy, practical and reliable and you can be assured that your pet and your property will be in good hands. I’m happy to water your house plants or outdoor tubs, or top up bird feeders if needed.
