Hi there! My partner and I recently said goodbye to a foster dog (we had for 10+ months), so we're looking to make new 4 legged friends!
Our rescue foster had a fair amount of reactive and aggressive behaviours, but was so much better after 10 months with us. It really made us self-taught canine behaviour and training nerds, much more so than if we'd looked after a calmer dog. We've got lots of love to give now she's no longer living with us.
We sadly can't do overnight boarding at our house for your dog/s as we have 2 cats - but we'd love to look after your dog for the day, or half a day, taking them out and having adventures! We'd wan tto come meet you and your dog first and perhaps take them for a free trial walk, to make sure we're happy looking after them - and that they/you are happy with us looking after them. We're also happy to give oral medication if needed.
We both drive and live near the downs, so they can get as much or as little exercise and freedom as suits them, and that you're happy with. We can also collect and drop off your dog from your place.
We can't wait to meet them! :)

I love going for walks, but going without a dog feels a bit strange.&nbsp;I adore canine company, and understand that dogs respond to calm, confidence and positivity. Your fur baby is safe with me: I’ll talk to them, play with them and always be clued-in to their needs and behaviour.&nbsp;As well as extensive pet care experience, I've done over a year's volunteering with dogs. This includes a shelter environment, where many had behavioural problems and needed special care. I am a full-time PE teacher who loves the outdoors. Working in a school means I am lucky to have regular school holidays, and, as a result, I have a lot of time to put to good use. This, combined with being a very active individual, and having a genuine love for dogs, makes dog-sitting the perfect choice for me.
Many friends, including family members, have dogs and so I have quite a lot of experience of taking care of other people's dogs - ranging from a couple of hours, up to a week when owners have gone on holiday. Hello, i am a student currently studying zoology at the university of Sussex, which obviously shows my love for animals:) i have been working with cats for almost two years in a family run cattery and I have previously worked as a dog walker a few years back so i have lots of experience when it comes to pets. I am also trained to give insulin shots or any other medicines (such as eye drops and tablets etc.) and know the emergency procedures should anything happen and have experience with these procedures:) I will only work at your house so the animals aren't under any extra stress moving them anywhere which also means i can take unvaccinated animals as there will be no chance for any transferable issues and i find animals tend to be a lot more calm and relaxed when they are in their own environment. If not i also have experience working with the more spicy animals and know how to look after them with care.
I am incredibly flexible and can work any day and time to suit you. I am offering home visits and sitting and walks. These home visits can be as long as you would like and i'm happy to do any extra bits and bobs.With house sitting once again the time can be as flexible as you would like and i'll make sure to follow all the safety requirements you make me aware off. For the walking depending on where you live the closest field and depending on your pets requirements will determine the length of the walk which will range from 30 minutes to 3 hours.

Around animals, I've always felt happy and at ease. For this reason, when I was living in Colombia, I made the decision to adopt a cat named Bora and a dog named Lucky. I recently moved to Brighton, and because I miss my pets so much, I signed up with Pawshake to share my love for pets. I have had Bora and Lucky for more than five years, which has given me extensive knowledge of pets needs, behaviors, and level of care.&nbsp;
Along with cuddling with cats at home, I enjoy going for walks and playing outside with dogs. I would try my best training them and perhaps spoiling them. About me: I'm a tidy, responsible, and easygoing person who enjoy cycling, work out and outdoor activities. I work remotely so that I can even take care of pets during the time I'm working, for this reason my availability is the whole day, from the morning to the evening.

I love to spend time walking dogs. Usually if the dog is sociable I can play ball for hours. But if the dog has some social problems I prefer to walk them for an hour. I usually do not like to take the same route because I know the dog will get bored.&nbsp;
