Hello! I'm Begüm, an international student currently pursuing a degree in Clinical Child Psychology at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge. Originally from Turkey, I have a Maltese Terrier back home whom I dearly miss  . Growing up in Turkey, where street animals are very prevalent, I was surrounded by cats and dogs in my neighborhood, fostering a deep love and respect for them. During my university years, I made it a habit to feed street cats and dogs daily, contributing to their well-being. Additionally, with many friends and family members who own pets, I'm always surrounded by furry companions and enjoy spending time with them, so I have previous experience in pet sitting and dog walking, providing personalized care for pets based on their individual needs and preferences  . Even during high school, I volunteered regularly at animal shelters, providing care and attention to animals in need.  My goal is to ensure that every pet under my care feels loved, safe, and comfortable  Furthermore, advocating for animal rights is a cause close to my heart, and I actively participate in various protests and campaigns back in Turkey to address the ongoing issues in animal welfare.

Hello! My name is Emma and I'm originally from and currently living in Cambridge and working In a boarding school for international students. I am crazy about animals, and I have grown up with many different cats, dogs, hamsters and guinea pigs.I have experience caring for cats, not just my own, but for friends and family members who have trusted me to look after their pets when on holiday. I have also worked in a petshop and as a dog walker.I've always been especially passionate about cats and at the moment I have a beautiful tortoiseshell cat who is 15 years old and I adore. I think that each animal has its own unique personality and it is important to adapt your care according to their specific needs. As a calm person I also find this helps animals in my company to feel safe.On pet visits I can offer feeds, changing of water bowls, cleaning litter trays, plenty of cuddles (if the animal is comfortable of course) and play. I was born in Brazil, a country full off street dogs that we lovely call Caramels, so even having my shih-tzu Chico at home, I'm always surrounded by dogs on the streets because I give them the love they deserve. I love pets so much that I work making watercolour paints of them.
Talking about taking care of pets experiences, I'm responsible for Chico in Brazil - during this period he is with my mom - am also used to take care of cats in my grandma house. Chico is with me all day long, we go out for walks and I'm also the one who gives him showers and medicines. I love so much being a person who provides better life for pets especially because they are the ones who also provides me better life quality. I've never had troubles either pets, not even the Brazilians that live on the attests as I mentioned previously.
I'm able to make walks around the city with your pets and also making visits. I'm pretty experienced with walking dogs in the streets. It's my first time offering it as a service, but I walk my own Shih-tzu, my brother in law's golden retriever sometimes, my cousin's 3 large no defined breed and also my another cousin's blue heeler. When my cousins travel I also make house visits to their pets and it includes administrate all their needs.
I love pets so much that my current job is painting them on fabrics. I'm an artist who embroiders and makes watercolours paintings 🩷
 I came to UK with my boyfriend, he is currently studying at Sttaford House and I'm working from home with my arts, so it would be perfect for me sitting and walking pets, so that I can keep in touch with this adorable creatures and feel less homesick as well. My main purpose is sharing love with the pets who need someone to provide quality care for themselves, I believe they can live much more comfortably and happily having a good human to walk, pet them and assume responsibilities for them. All my life I had different pets because I simply can't live without them. In 2017 I made a decision that changed my life. I started to volunteer in a cat shelter and it made me realize how much I love working with pets. Next thing I know I am doing a vet assistant course. Now I have several years of experience with pets, including in a clinical environment.
I am currently working part-time in retail so I am free to stay at home with the pets most of my time. I play, cuddle, feed them every day and do my best to keep their daily routine. I also have the knowledge and experience with oral and injected meds administration as well as dealing with eldery pets.
