Hi, my name is Tanya and I am 40 years old and live in Chessington, Surrey with my cat - Gary.
I have grown up owning and looking after pets.  As a child I had rabbits, rats and hamsters as pets and in my teenage years we had a family dog, Danny who we rescued from Battersea dogs home.
In recent years I have had a cockerpoo called Meg who I miss dearly.  I now share my house with my affectionate but boisterous cat Gary, who I love to bits.
I like to keep fit and love going for long walks.  I really miss my dog walks now that I no longer own a dog and would love to be able to help other people out with walking their dogs.  I have experience dealing with different types of dogs.  My dog Danny could be temperamental around other dogs and so needed to be keep on the lead and controlled.  My dog Meg was very easy going and was happy walking off lead and chasing her ball.  I have also looked after 3 dogs for a friend while they were on a holiday (a Yorkie, Cockerpoo and Maltease) and another friend who had a Shitzu and a Cavachon.  All with very different personalities.&nbsp;&nbsp;
I have a real love for Cats (in particular my cat Gary).  I have looked after a number of cats over the last few years both popping in to feed and play with them once or twice a day to house sitting and staying with the cat/s while their owners are away.
I work from home 3 days a week and am around on weekends so am available for visits once or twice a day.  I have a car and can cover Chessington and surrounding areas.
During my visit, I will do the following:

I currently cat sit (Captain - grey cat in pictures) and dog (Basil) for two different families and stay overnight when required.&nbsp;
I offer overnight and day pet sitting (in their environment), home visits, and walking.&nbsp;
With overnight stays, this is usually a 24-hour period from 7pm-7am (or if you require different hours this can be discussed).&nbsp;
For home visits, the duration is usually up to one hour for up to two pets (this includes feeding, tidying and play).&nbsp;
Dog walking is an hour, sometimes more depending on the needs of you and your dog.&nbsp;
I've house-sat for many a dog and cat in the past, both here and in Australia over the years. I'm happy to look after your pets in your own home should you need to be away from your house as well as wash/feed/walk/hug them. As for my experience, I owned a dog for six months. Her name is Daisy, and she is a mongrel. Unfortunately, because of the war in Ukraine, I had to move, so now she lives with another family. Of course, when you have just moved to another country, you are unlikely to get a pet while you get used to it and get back on your feet.
&nbsp;However, I miss the activities I used to do with Daisy: outdoor games, walks, etc. I miss this feeling of absolute happiness while spending time with my dog. But I can feel it while helping other owners with their pets.
I will be happy to help you if: 

  You need a person to walk your dog&nbsp;(for 1-2 hours,( £15 per hour) up to 5 times a day). I can take your dog for a walk nearby or the nearest park/quay.
  A person to visit your dog 1 or 2 times in your home;&nbsp;I’ll stay for an hour. Besides caring for your dog, I can also water your plants or collect your mail, for example.
  If you need someone to stay with your dog in your house while you are away. I am available for an overnight or an 8-9 hour day stay, which includes two walks. If you require a 24-hour stay, the price will be double.
  If you have any other instructions regarding home security measures apart from locking the doors, I will follow them to ensure the safety of your home.
  And I used to care about a dog with heart issues. He had to take one particular pill every evening. So, if your lovely friend has something similar, I can administer medications.

I am available the whole week, except Thursday, from morning until evening.
What I'm NOT doing: 

  Trainings or grooming 
  I cannot provide dog boarding or doggy daycare because my housemates are not comfortable with dogs in our house.


Hi! I'm Dee. I'm a 24yo Irish masters student living in Mortlake (a 10 min walk from Richmond Park!). My ideal day is a walk in the park &amp; then cosying up with a cup of tea &amp; a film.
 I've recently gone down from full time to working part-time as a barista 2-3 days a week &amp; my days are now flexible to my choice! So I can be fully available for 3 days at a time. Tuesdays-Thursdays most likely. 
I've used Pawshake in Ireland while studying my undergrad and had some lovely &amp; memorable experiences helping people out mostly by popping over to their houses 1-2 times a day to feed &amp; walk the doggies while they're on holidays! Have done the same with neighbours etc growing up &amp; always have a blast doing it.
I live with 3 flatmates who are all dog lovers but unfortunately due to our contracts we can't have them stay with us at the flat/overnight etc :(. So, I'm looking to do more of the same as above! Can also do 24/7 care in the family home for a 2-3 day stretch if needed as well!
I'm desperately missing my family's rescued staffy mix, Missy back home &amp; eager to spend some time with some sweet doggies now that I have some more free time.

I'm Jon (34), an economist living in Kingston with my wife Celine (a solicitor, 33). We have a two bed house with a nice garden and bifold doors that are open from spring to autumn. We also live next to Fairfield park which is perfect for walks. I work from home 5 days a week and my wife 2 day so there is always someone here. &nbsp;
We recently fostered my friend's elderly cat Zibbi and miss having her in the house. She was very high maintenance as she needed a lot of meds and attention so we are confident that if we can look after her we can look after anybody.&nbsp;
I grew up with dogs and my wife cats and we just love hanging out with them. We don't yet have kids and our carpets and furniture are all a bit old and tired so we have the perfect house for pets to feel at home in. I think we have a window in our lives where things have come together so that we can pet sit and it probably won't be this way forever. Any pets that spend time with us will be showered with so much love and attention.&nbsp;
We’re both very active and always get our 10,000 steps in so any dogs staying with us can look forward to some big walks. We’re also not far from Richmond Park. We’re very open minded about the pets that come and stay with us. Obviously it will have to work for both parties and we'll be open about anything we are not confident with. We will need to take it slow to begin with and probably only work up to boarding with pets that we have got to know a bit. We'll also only be able to look after one pet at a time to begin with.

I'm a 28 year old dog-lover currently living in Surbiton. I grew up in Brighton and moved up to Kingston for university 8 years ago, and never looked back!
I am self-employed and work from home, so have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to pop out whenever I like for a dog walk or home visit. I live with my dog Toby, and my husband in our semi-detached home, which has a large open plan space leading to a fully secure garden. Previous to owning my own dog, I have looked after the dogs of friends and family, and was a walker on borrowmydoggy.
The services I can provide currently are dog walking, home visits and day care. I enjoy long walks in the park or forest, and have a car so can take your pup on some fun walks a bit further afield! I can also offer urban walks or a stroll in a local park, depending on your dogs needs. If a short play session is more appropriate I also offer home visits, so if you have a puppy or senior dog I can keep them company for a while and have a good play!
If I'm looking after your dog for the day, they will be kept company by my own dog Toby, who loves to play. I have a large downstairs area where the dogs have free reign, which leads out to a spacious fully enclosed garden. Toby is very friendly, but can be seperated during the day if your dog needs some quieter time.
I am keen on training and learning fun tricks with my own dog, so do let me know if there are any things you are working on at home and I would be more than happy to maintain this training during visits, walks or day care.

Hi, I'm Grace. I'm 18 years old and have lived alongside animals my entire life. I'm used to caring for lots of different animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, snakes, turtles, lizards and more! I love being around animals and i'm currently working towards a future career in zoology! I have tons of experience looking after all sorts of pets and i'm well aware of how to handle animals with disabilities and special needs. I currently have 5 dogs ranging from big to small (german shepherd, labrador, working cocker spaniel, jack russel mix, and a sausage dog/chihuahua !!) As a child i grew up with a snake and a german shepherd, living with such an intelligent breed of dog for most of my life gave me a huge range of knowledge and experience of how to properly mentally and physically engage with these animals to keep them happy and their minds active, along with having experience dealing with difficult situations and how to handle them safely and accordingly. I'm familiar with reactive dogs and have participated in many professional training classes, due to my german shepherd getting attacked as a puppy and developing a fear to dogs and any unexpected moving objects such as cyclists (i regularly walk a labrador/border collie with a fear of motorcycles). I adore long walks and i can walk dogs multiple times a day if necessary. Im looking to go into the animal sector as I have always had a love for animals and have always grown up with animals. I look after friends animals when they need help and I'm currently doing a course in animal care level 3 and will be progressing and doing more. I am a kitchen manger of a school in the morning and a ex head chef. I have been in the hospitality industry for 15/16 years I have my higher education certification and level 3 food safety I'm looking to go into my other passion in life and that's working with animals. if I can do anything to help anyone or animals then for me that's an achievement in life it's self.
