Hi, my name is Katie and I'm currently a full time, freelance musician based in Dennistoun, Glasgow. I sing and play keys in my wedding band, as well as a soloist, playing weddings, events, functions, bars, pubs, restaurants and care homes all over Scotland. I am also an avid outdoors enthusiast and love being outside in nature. Most importantly, I am hugely passionate about animals and their care and welfare.&nbsp;
Ever since I was young, my family had pets-mostly cats, but we also had a dog at one point and some goldfish. From a very young age, I have had experience of caring for and taking care of animals. Over the years, I have also looked after and cared for pets within my family and my partner's family, when they have been on holiday; this has included cats, chihuahuas, a hamster and a Border Collie.&nbsp;
I often take my Mum's dog, Cooper (a Border Collie), out for walks and will also care for him when she is needing help. I have extensive experience in dog walking, as well as in general animal care and welfare, but I've also had some experience in administering oral medication, grooming and cleaning etc. Mostly, I just love looking after pets, it brings me a lot of joy, happiness and contenment.&nbsp;
I am mostly available during the weekdays (morning-evening), and I can be available morning-afternoons on weekends. However, I do gig, mostly at the weekends in the evenings and sometimes late afternoons, so I tend to have more availability during the week.
For the services I offer, I can take your dog out for a long, medium or short walk to either a local park, a secure dog field or a larger outdoors area, whatever your prefer for your pet or whatever works best for them. For reference, I usually take my Mum's dog out to larger, wide open, grassy spaces i.e. a country park, woodlands walks, even further afield to regional or national parks that have plenty of walks.&nbsp;
I also offer home visits either once or twice a day, where I can ensure your pet is fed, their water is topped up, they are let out into the garden for toilet breaks etc, can also spend time playing with your pet, if you have cat or dog toys. I can also administer oral medication but will need specific instructions for this. I can stay up to a few hours, and can also water plants, bring in the mail etc. I will clean any litter trays/dog cages etc, ensure your pet is kept clean and keep you updated via message and any update pictures of your pet, also including if there's any medical emergencies.


I have always been an animal lover, having grown up with dogs all my life and having worked at a refuge for cats and dogs in Greece run by my uncle. I have a natural affinity with animals and am very patient and caring. Having lifelong experience of looking after dogs, I am able to keep control of them during walks without resorting to shouting, and am very aware of the specific needs of different types of dog, whether that be lengths of walks or quantities of food. I have also looked after friends' cats while they've been away, and love to play with them and keep them company! I am currently unable to look after pets in my flat as my flatmates suffer from allergies, and so I would love the chance to walk, look after and hang out with dogs and cats whenever possible. cats and dogs of all dispositions welcome!


I am a qualified dog groomer with first aid training. I have previously worked as a dog walker and as a dog daycare assistant for the last 7 years. I have experience with a variety of breeds from toy breeds right up to Xl.&nbsp;
I grew up on a farm and have experience handling animals from a young age.&nbsp;
My whole world revolves around dogs and my dogs mean the world to me. One of my dogs is a rescue and we went through a year of behavioural modification so I have the understanding and patience for dogs that have particular needs. I have experience with every type of dog from puppy to senior. I have devoted myself to giving my rescue dog a happy and fulfilling life, and only trust a very small handful of people with him. As a result, dogs welfare and happiness is of the utmost importance to me.&nbsp;
I have worked with a lot of dogs throughout my career meaning that i have handled dogs with all kinds of issues. I pride myself on being patient and understanding and building a bond with dogs. I find it very rewarding!
I will usually only ever have 1 dog in my care along with my own. On the odd occasion I may have 2 but thats my maximum and depends entirely on whether the dogs temperaments are suited.

I’m Rachel. I am currently working as a psychology researcher, so I conduct interviews that cover people’s experience of certain situations usually relating to wellbeing.&nbsp;
I have two cats and regularly dog sit. I would eventually love some form of farm. My oldest cat is Mabel and she was a rescue who I slowly brought from a hissy missy to a loving cuddly cat. My second Artemis is a mischievous little cat who loves to shred paper and butt pats. I have dealt with the whole process of integrating two dominant female cats.&nbsp;
I love all kinds of animals and don't have many hesitations about sitting a range of pets. I have participated in a fair share of birds of prey flying sessions and have an intense love for goats. I would love to get to know your pet and learn the best way to care for them so they feel comfortable.&nbsp;
During dog walks I can offer some level of training like sit, paw, wait, come, lie down, down, etc.&nbsp;
During pet visits I can offer basic levels of care such as brushing and feeding. As well as the obvious play and cuddle time if this is something your pet enjoys.&nbsp;
Other services such as watering plants and bringing in mail are available if required.&nbsp;

Hello! I am from the US (Chicago) and have recently finished my degree in Glasgow and am hoping to start pet sitting! I grew up with two dogs (a very energetic shih tzu named Zoey and a far more relaxed flat-coated retriever named Mika) and miss having them around, I'd love to enjoy time with your pet while making sure they are safe and cared for. I have experience caring for my aging dogs and am comfortable doing the same with yours.
