Hi my name is Helen. I have always had a love for dogs and cats and I have always had animals while I was growing up and in adult life. I dont have any animals of my own at the moment due to having worked long hours. Now is the time to have animals back in my life as i am semi retired. 
My occupation has been Nursing throughout my life so i feel i have the caring attitude required. 
&nbsp;I have First aid and medcation awareness. Your dog or cat would get personalised care and I would ensure that I have all the essential details required for me do be able to give the best care and attention your pet needs. I love walking so your dog would get regular walks if this is what they enjoy. They would also get plenty of fuss and attention from myself the other members of my household. I live in a calm relaxed, stess free environment. 
I have a secure garden and when taking you dog for a walk I will ensure maximum safety at all times. 
I can't think of anything better than assisting  to help you look after your much loved pets.&nbsp;

I have taken care of other peoples pets for a little over 5 years now along with my own two, one cat and one dog, shown in my profile photo and have now decided to join Pawshake. So if you’re reading this and need help with: walking, regular check ins, feeding, sitting, all depending on your pets requirements this can be discussed and provided.
I am also experienced with boarding at my house before and have also been trusted to stay at other people's homes while they've been away to look after their pets. 
So whether you're looking for a home from home stay for your dog or someone to visit your home to spend time with your pets or something as easy as making sure they get their required toilet break, I am sure I can help you.

A little about me, I have my own insurance and I am DBS checked with a basic clean certificate to hand. &nbsp;

SERVICES I OFFER -
24 Hour BOARDING / DAYCARE - There are two people in my home, a smoke free home, both adults, myself and a retiree, so there will always be someone to provide the care and attention for your dog 24 hours. Being an owner of 1 cat and 1 dog, if your dog is good with other dogs, but you are unsure with cats, then this is where a meet and greet is ideal and beneficial to see if everyone gets along. Please have your dog up to date with flea treatment and inform me of any medical conditions I need to be aware of, an example being seizures. Your dog will get free roam of the house and garden. They are not in any type of kennel structure. We will treat your pet as part of the family therefore they are welcome to use all the rooms and furniture around the house, but if they are trained to be in a crate this is no problem, please bring it and any bed they are accustomed to. My garden is fully fenced with high panels and cameras installed for extra security. I live a minute walk from 3 large fields, also surrounded by huge acres of land. So your dog would get all the exercise they require. Not to mention living less than a mile drive from Stafford Castle. I provide my own client registration / consent forms that are either given physically or sent digitally for you to fill in on or before the agreed date of boarding which I can then refer to and see information about your pet.
Dog Walking - If it is just walking you require then I offer 30 minutes to an hour. I prefer to walk 1-2-1 so your dog gets all the attention they deserve. 2 would be maximum at a time.
Pet Sitting - I have been trusted before to visit cats and dogs to feed, let out, or stay the night. Whether you need an hourly visit or longer feel free to get in touch and discuss further.&nbsp;
INFORMATION I'D LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR PET -
Let me know if you have any requirements or special requests and I will try my best to meet these, so you know your pet is in the best hands. It’s really helpful for me to know your pets routine so I can give them care they deserve. This is also why as mentioned above I have my own client registration forms so I can refer back to them as they are far more detailed than what this site asks of pet owners.&nbsp;
A TYPICAL DAY - 
I live near 3 huge fields, woods, acres of lands and Stafford Castle so there will be plenty of time for walks right on my doorstep. A House with a garden for them to roam around. If its a colder day a nice warm fire to sit beside. Toys, balls and more to keep your dog entertained.

After being a devoted dog mom to my French bulldog, Bruce, for eight incredible years, I’ve learned firsthand just how much joy and companionship a furry friend brings to a home. While I’m not quite ready to adopt another dog of my own just yet, I would love to share my home and heart with your pup. 

I work for a charity (mostly from home), so I have plenty of flexibility for long walks, extra cuddles, and consistent playtime. I live in a house with a secure, private garden, and I love spending my free time exploring local parks or visiting dog-friendly coffee shops. Hi, I'm Hannah, a self-employed writer. I have grown up around cats and find it a joy to observe their unique personalities and habits. In my experience, particularly shy cats tend to trust me, as I'm quiet and shy myself. For two years while at university, I lived with a family and bonded with their cats, looking after the house and feeding the fish when they went on holiday. I've also dropped in to feed the pets of neighbours when asked.Since joining Pawshake, I've enjoyed three housesitting assignments, providing 24/7 companionship and care to cats and dogs. I am less experienced with dogs, having long wished for but never had one myself, but a big part of my motivation for doing this is to spend time with them.&nbsp;Please bear in mind that I can't drive. Hi, I’m a dad to an amazing three-year-old, and caring for others, whether they’re children or animals, has always been a huge part of who I am.
Animals have been part of my life for many years, and I genuinely understand that pets aren’t “just animals” they’re family. At home, we share our lives with our dog, Rafa, and our two cats, Gini and Bobby, who are very much part of the family. Looking after them every day has given me plenty of hands-on experience with feeding routines, exercise, playtime, grooming, and understanding their different personalities and behaviours.
Availability
I work full-time as a Safeguarding Officer in a school, so my availability is:
Monday to Friday: 5:30am–7:45am and from 4:30pm onwards
Weekends: By arrangement, subject to availability
I offer morning and evening dog walks, home visits, pet care, and house-sitting services during these times.
Services I Offer
Dog Walking
Every dog is different, so I tailor walks to suit their age, energy level, and individual needs. Walks usually last between 30 minutes and one hour and take place in local parks, woodland areas, and safe walking routes. My priority is always your dog’s safety, happiness, and enjoyment.
Home Visits
Whether you’re at work or away for the day, I’m happy to visit your pet at home for 30–60 minutes. Visits can include feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, playtime, companionship, and plenty of fuss. I can also help with small household tasks such as watering plants, bringing in post or deliveries, and opening or closing curtains to help your home look lived in.
House Sitting
If you need someone to look after both your pets and your home while you’re away, I’m happy to discuss a house-sitting plan that suits your needs. I’ll follow your routines, ensure your pets are comfortable and cared for, and take home security seriously by checking doors and windows, setting alarms if required, and keeping your property secure throughout my stay.
