"Josephine took excellent care of our cat Rocky - she was meticulous in making sure she had all the information for him before starting (including things we hadn’t thought of!), is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced in looking after cats, and sent regular updates while we were away. "Having not used a cat sitter before we were a bit apprehensive of handing over the keys to our home and letting someone else look after our fur baby a Ragdoll cat. However, after initial preliminary meeting our concerns were quickly put to ease. Jacke had up to date DBS certificates and other security credentials. She came across as mature, responsible and capable. And most importantly our cat Leo took to Jackie on first meeting and felt at ease around her, not usual for him with strangers. Jackie looked after our cat Leo for just over 7 days, averaging two visits per day. With every visit she sent us reports with photos. Kept us informed of everything and cleared after Leo including the occasional furballs and attended to minor issues with our home, security systems, windows/ locks etc. She kept our home clean and tidy and secure. And importantly gave Leo the attention he deserved. Our cat Leo seemed happy and relaxed with her and last few photos showed him cuddling up to her and kissing her.
We would highly recommend her and would have no hesitation using her again. She's trustworthy, reliable, thorough and caring. We could not expect more from a cat sitter.

"Amy was brilliant. We had a slightly tricky request given that our cat doesn't have a cat flap, but Amy was happy to wait for her when she popped over to feed her. She was so considerate and thoughtful about our cat during the heatwave, making sure she had lots of water. And she kept us updated with photos too! And at the last minute she also helped us out watering our outside plants too, which was a godsend. Amy was so warm and personable, and such an excellent sitter for our cat. We would 100% definitely recommend her. Thank you, Amy!"

"Because of disrupted rail travel plans, a cat sitter became needed the following day. I was fearful that no one reliable and affordable could be obtained at such short notice. Not only did Steve and his assistant step up to the challenge, but went above and beyond in their care of my feline friend. Their visits were timed to suit Felix (who, as always, insists that everyone run around after him). Steve followed his instructions obediently.
At no extra cost, Steve gave my garden rose some much needed water."

"We got our kitten Marriott last July, and due to CoVid this was the first time we had needed to get a cat sitter whilst we went on holiday. We had planned on using a cattery but we left it too late and they were all booked up. We discovered Pawshake and came across Emma and we are glad we did. Emma met us before we went away and she was able to stroke Marriott which gave us comfort. Throughout our trip Emma kindly sent us photos and updates allowing us to enjoy our holiday. Emma even offered to get us some fridge supplies before we returned. We are glad we used a cat sitter as it allowed our cat to stay in its normal surroundings. We have no hesitation in recommending Emma and will use her on our next holiday.

Emma was absolutely brilliant and we couldn’t have been happier with her. Her communication was clear and reliable from the start, and she followed all of our instructions perfectly, which meant we could relax knowing Snowy was in great hands.
