I’ve always had animals in the house, and firmly believe that a dog makes a house a home! I work full time as an ecologist, so my life is surrounded by all kinds of animals, from bats to birds to slow worms ‍ My parents’ dogs are my babies, and my partner and I are hoping to get our own dog soon. In the meantime, I’d love to help other owners care for their babies ️

About My Services

  Dog boarding and dog daycare Your dog will live in our home as part of the family.
  Dog walking We can walk your dog 1 to 2 times per day, usually 30 to 60 minutes per walk depending on their needs and energy levels.
  Medication I am comfortable administering oral medication if needed. Please provide instructions.
  Behaviour needs I’m experienced caring for rescue dogs and dogs with quirks or anxieties. This doesn’t necessarily mean we can’t help, but please share details in advance so we can plan appropriately.
  Training and grooming I do not offer formal training or grooming services. I am happy to maintain your existing routines, use your commands, and brush your dog if provided.
  How many dogs at once To ensure quality care, I only board maximum two dogs at a time (usually one). We can discuss caring for multiple dogs if from the same household.


Time and Routine
Myself and my partner both work full time, but have flexibility to work from home, meaning your dog will never be left alone for long periods.

  Boarding stays Pets will never be left alone longer than 1 hours at any one time (usually not left at all)
  Daycare Pets will not be left alone during daycare 
  We plan our day around the dog in our care, including regular walks, playtime and quiet relaxation.
  We love cuddles if they’re keen and will give them lots of attention.


Our Home 

  Myself and my partner live in a spacious house with plenty of room for dogs to relax.
  ️We have a rescue cat, so dogs must be comfortable being around cats️
  Guest dogs are typically kept downstairs during the nighttime to give them their own quiet space to settle in a new environment.If your dog would struggle with this or prefers sleeping upstairs, please let us know. We are happy to accommodate your dog’s routine.
  We have a large garden. One side of the boundary is currently unfenced. This hasn’t been a problem in the past, as we always use a lead for toilet breaks for safety.
  Dogs are welcome on furniture unless you prefer otherwise.


A Typical Day
Lots of walks, cuddles, enrichment and play. We love exploring local green spaces and adjusting activity levels to suit your dog’s needs, whether that's long walks and playtimes or cuddles and napping on the sofa!

Communication
Please tell us if your dog has:

  Specific routines, preferences or comfort needs
  Behaviour issues, reactivity or separation anxiety
  Any dietary restrictions or medications
  Particular triggers, fears or boundaries

None of this necessarily means we cannot help. It simply allows us to prepare and ensure a safe, comfortable stay for your dog.

I believe that pets thrive in quiet, cozy environments—so I provide gentle care, with a focus on allowing your pet to feel at ease in their own time. I’m an Akita Inu enthusiast with plenty of experience caring for family pets, and I’ve created a space where animals can just be—whether that’s lounging together, getting a head pat, or simply enjoying each other’s presence.

Flexible, reliable pet sitting (including overnight stays!)
Personalised, gentle care tailored to your pet’s needs (no loud noises or sudden movements)
Walks for smaller dogs (especially ones that don’t have dander!)

I can only offer petsitting for cats and low-dander dogs as I'm allergic to dog dander. But I grew up with a Japanese Akita (who is featured A LOT on my profile) who's hypoallergenic

I'm used to caring for lots of different animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, snakes, turtles, lizards and more! I love being around animals and i'm currently working towards a future career in zoology! I have tons of experience looking after all sorts of pets and i'm well aware of how to handle animals with disabilities and special needs. I currently have 5 dogs ranging from big to small (german shepherd, labrador, working cocker spaniel, jack russel mix, and a sausage dog/chihuahua !!) As a child i grew up with a snake and a german shepherd, living with such an intelligent breed of dog for most of my life gave me a huge range of knowledge and experience of how to properly mentally and physically engage with these animals to keep them happy and their minds active, along with having experience dealing with difficult situations and how to handle them safely and accordingly.
