I am a friendly, reliable, and dedicated dog sitter with over five years of experience providing loving and responsible care to dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and routine , and I take the time to ensure they feel comfortable, secure, and happy while their owners are away. I provide personalised care that includes feeding, regular walks, playtime, companionship, and basic daily care, always delivered with patience and attention.
I believe pets are part of the family, and I treat each one as if they were my own. I am attentive to their behaviour, emotional needs, and wellbeing, ensuring they receive both physical activity and affection. Safety, hygiene, and consistency are always my top priorities.

My experience has helped me build strong bonds with dogs and gain the trust of their owners. You can rely on me to provide professional, caring, and dependable service, giving you complete peace of mind and ensuring your dog remains relaxed, healthy, and well cared for in your absence.
I wake up early to make ensure morning walks, feeding, playtime and personalised care for healthy and happy pets.
A typical day includes morning walks or toilet breaks, feeding according to the dog’s usual schedule, and plenty of attention, play, and rest throughout the day. Dogs are never rushed and are given the care and patience they need. Regular updates can be provided to owners for peace of mind.
My home is clean, calm, and dog-friendly, making it a comfortable place for dogs to relax. Dogs are treated like part of the family and are well-supervised at all times. I only take a limited number of dogs to ensure each one receives individual care and attention.

I am happy to follow specific instructions regarding feeding, walking, medication, and sleeping arrangements. My priority is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free home-from-home experience while owners are away.

Hi,
I’m Andreea, and I’m so happy to share a little about myself with you and, of course, with your furry friend
Animals have always been a big part of my life, and caring for them truly comes from the heart. I share my home with a gentle miniature schnauzer and a friendly ginger cat, so I deeply understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. My aim as a pet sitter is to offer a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets feel relaxed, secure, and genuinely at home.
My partner and I both work from home, which means your pet will enjoy constant companionship and supervision throughout the day. Pets are never left alone for long periods, and we have plenty of time for walks, playtime, cuddles, and one-to-one attention. Our home is quiet, stable, and ideal for pets who thrive in a relaxed and loving routine.
I have hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats, including feeding schedules, daily walks, playtime, basic grooming, and adapting to each pet’s unique personality. I’m naturally patient and attentive, especially with pets who may feel anxious or need extra reassurance while away from their owners.
Your pet’s wellbeing is always my top priority. For the safety and comfort of everyone, I only accept vaccinated pets. Every animal in my care is treated with kindness, respect, and the same love and attention I give to my own.
I know how much pets mean to their families, and I care for them as if they were truly my own. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend and welcome them into our home
Best wishes,
Andreea

Hey, I'm Afia, preferably go by Fifi! I have 11 years of experience looking after my precious ginger Persian cat, I'm a passionate animal lover offering personalised pet-sitting services. I go above and beyond to ensure your furry friends are happy and healthy while you're away.

Services:
My services start with a complimentary meet and greet to get acquainted and discuss your pet's unique needs. You can rest easy knowing I'll maintain a clean and pleasant environment by keeping food bowls full and litter trays tidy. I'll shower your pets with plenty of playtime, cuddles, and attention, sending daily photos and updates so you can stay connected.

Whether it's a quick check-in or a longer stay, I'm dedicated to providing top-notch care. Let's chat and see how I can help make your pet's time apart from you as comfortable and enjoyable as possible! I can't wait to meet your furry friends!

I'm a cat keeper who grew up with dogs, so very much someone from both worlds! I've spent a lot of time working with anxious animals so am happy to take on your more worried pet too. I believe that animals tell us a lot about who they are and what they need if we listen and are perceptive. I was an academic but am now a fiction author so my time is very flexible. I've been a user of Pawshake for many years now, and I'd like to give back to the community by offering up services of my own. I'm also keen to get out the house a bit more, and meet some more animal friends!
For dogs: I've grown up around and helped train lots of intelligent and tough-to-handle puppies (and not-puppies!). I understand how important it is to have firm but gentle consistent training and will use your preferred instructions when caring for your dog. I have a lot of experience with Border Collies who can be a lot and I know it can feel daunting to ask someone to walk your dog, but rest assured they'll be in good hands! I have experience with anxious dogs too, so just let me know their quirk of choice whether that's joggers, cyclists, or just seeing a really big fellow dog, and let me know if there's a way you like to calm them or a favoured treat! All dogs of any size are very welcome, and our walks will be in Queens Park or down in Linn Park.
For cats: I've had cats of my own for the last 15 years, all rescue and indoors, and my current cat Lily is a loving but troubled long-hair cat with anxiety, hairballs, claws that she doesn't realised are on her hands, and odd food preferences. She was very antisocial when she first came to me, but through quiet patience and just talking to her, we have become inseparable. I would love the opportunity to spend time with your cat, whether that's sitting with them quietly or playing with their least-frightening toy. For all home visits, I can feed your pet, clean out the litter tray if desired, administer medicine if shown in advance, and I will also spend at least half an hour keeping your cat company.

Hi! I'm Emma, a reliable, caring, and responsible pet sitter who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals and helping them feel safe, comfortable, and happy in their own home while their owners are away. I understand that trusting someone with both your pet and your home is a big decision, so I always aim to provide the same level of care, attention, and respect that I would want for my own.
I believe pets are happiest when they can stay in their familiar environment and maintain their usual routine. Whether your pet enjoys lots of playtime and interaction or prefers a quieter, more relaxed approach, I'm happy to adapt to their individual personality and needs. I take the time to build trust, ensure they feel comfortable, and provide plenty of attention, affection, and companionship while you're away.
I'm attentive to feeding schedules, fresh water, exercise, playtime, cleaning up after pets, administering simple routines, and making sure they remain happy and settled throughout my visits. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can enjoy your time away with complete peace of mind, knowing your pet is being well cared for.
Alongside caring for your pet, I'm extremely respectful of your home. I understand how important it is to return to a clean, secure, and well-looked-after space. I'm happy to help with small household tasks such as watering plants, bringing in parcels or post, opening and closing curtains, and generally keeping everything tidy and as you left it.
I have experience caring for my own dog as well as looking after several cats for friends and family. Through this experience, I've learned the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding that every pet is different. Some animals are confident and social, while others need a little more time and reassurance, and I'm always happy to work at their pace.

Hi lovely pup parents!

I’m Shravya, a dedicated dog lover based just a few minutes from Kelvingrove Park in Glasgow. I moved here a 7 years ago and truly miss my six dogs back home in India, which is what inspired me to start pet sitting. Being around dogs brings me a sense of comfort and joy, and I love being able to give that same care and reassurance to pets while their owners are away.
I have over 15+ years of experience looking after dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. 7 years of experience sitting others dogs. My approach is centred around one-to-one care, ensuring each dog gets my full attention, affection, and a calm, safe environment. I can support with dog walking, daytime companionship, evening care, and overnight or holiday house sitting, always adapting to your pet’s routine and needs.
Walks are typically 30–60 minutes depending on your dog’s needs and energy levels, and I ensure they get both physical exercise and mental stimulation.1:1 care meaning I only take one dog at a time (or dogs from the same household) so your pet gets my full attention. I take time to build trust at their pace. I can also administer basic oral medication if needed.
Your dog’s safety is my top priority. I stay attentive at all times, avoid unsafe situations during walks, and in case of any concerns, I will immediately contact you and follow your preferred emergency plan.In case of any emergency, I will contact you immediately and take your pet to the nearest vet if needed, following your instructions.I work from home, which allows me to be flexible and present, so your dog will never feel alone. I focus on creating a stress-free experience, with plenty of walks, playtime, cuddles, and consistent care.
For safety and wellbeing, I do require that pets are up-to-date with vaccinations.I have my PVG too.

I’m a big animal lover with a soft spot for both cats and dogs. I didn’t get the chance to have pets growing up due to family reasons, so I really value any time I get to spend with them now. Being a pet sitter is a great way for me to do something I genuinely enjoy while helping owners feel at ease.
I’m friendly, patient, and easygoing, and I try to make every pet feel comfortable and cared for. I understand that each animal has its own personality, whether they’re playful and energetic or more quiet and independent.
I have experience looking after my partner’s cat and dogs, including feeding, walking, and spending time with them. I’ve also done dog walking before, so I’m confident handling dogs outside.
I’d treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and well looked after :)

I am a dog owner/lover who works at an educational establishment as an Animal Care Instructor. In my day to day work I deal with rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, mice, fish, reptiles and farm animals

I have 6 dogs of my own (Charlie, Mishka, Penny, Aston, Willow and Axl) and have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, reptiles and farm animals.

I also regularly compete in and judge dog shows as well as breed the very occasional litter when I am looking for another dog to join our family. I also sit on the commiteees of the Scottish Border Collie Club and the Scottish Dachshund Club.

I teach my students the very high standard of care I will provide to your pets.

I am competent with medications, elderly pets, toileting issues and all besides.

I will look after your pet as if they were my own.

If you have any questions about me or my credentials please feel free.

Hi, my name is Katie and I'm currently a full time, freelance musician based in Dennistoun, Glasgow. I sing and play keys in my wedding band, as well as a soloist, playing weddings, events, functions, bars, pubs, restaurants and care homes all over Scotland. I am also an avid outdoors enthusiast and love being outside in nature. Most importantly, I am hugely passionate about animals and their care and welfare.
Ever since I was young, my family had pets-mostly cats, but we also had a dog at one point and some goldfish. From a very young age, I have had experience of caring for and taking care of animals. Over the years, I have also looked after and cared for pets within my family and my partner's family, when they have been on holiday; this has included cats, chihuahuas, a hamster and a Border Collie.
I often take my Mum's dog, Cooper (a Border Collie), out for walks and will also care for him when she is needing help. I have extensive experience in dog walking, as well as in general animal care and welfare, but I've also had some experience in administering oral medication, grooming and cleaning etc. Mostly, I just love looking after pets, it brings me a lot of joy, happiness and contenment.
I am mostly available during the weekdays (morning-evening), and I can be available morning-afternoons on weekends. However, I do gig, mostly at the weekends in the evenings and sometimes late afternoons, so I tend to have more availability during the week.
For the services I offer, I can take your dog out for a long, medium or short walk to either a local park, a secure dog field or a larger outdoors area, whatever your prefer for your pet or whatever works best for them. For reference, I usually take my Mum's dog out to larger, wide open, grassy spaces i.e. a country park, woodlands walks, even further afield to regional or national parks that have plenty of walks.
I also offer home visits either once or twice a day, where I can ensure your pet is fed, their water is topped up, they are let out into the garden for toilet breaks etc, can also spend time playing with your pet, if you have cat or dog toys. I can also administer oral medication but will need specific instructions for this. I can stay up to a few hours, and can also water plants, bring in the mail etc. I will clean any litter trays/dog cages etc, ensure your pet is kept clean and keep you updated via message and any update pictures of your pet, also including if there's any medical emergencies.

I have always been an animal lover, having grown up with dogs all my life and having worked at a refuge for cats and dogs in Greece run by my uncle. I have a natural affinity with animals and am very patient and caring. Having lifelong experience of looking after dogs, I am able to keep control of them during walks without resorting to shouting, and am very aware of the specific needs of different types of dog, whether that be lengths of walks or quantities of food. I have also looked after friends' cats while they've been away, and love to play with them and keep them company! I am currently unable to look after pets in my flat as my flatmates suffer from allergies, and so I would love the chance to walk, look after and hang out with dogs and cats whenever possible. cats and dogs of all dispositions welcome!

I am a qualified dog groomer with first aid training. I have previously worked as a dog walker and as a dog daycare assistant for the last 7 years. I have experience with a variety of breeds from toy breeds right up to Xl.
I grew up on a farm and have experience handling animals from a young age.
My whole world revolves around dogs and my dogs mean the world to me. One of my dogs is a rescue and we went through a year of behavioural modification so I have the understanding and patience for dogs that have particular needs. I have experience with every type of dog from puppy to senior. I have devoted myself to giving my rescue dog a happy and fulfilling life, and only trust a very small handful of people with him. As a result, dogs welfare and happiness is of the utmost importance to me.
I have worked with a lot of dogs throughout my career meaning that i have handled dogs with all kinds of issues. I pride myself on being patient and understanding and building a bond with dogs. I find it very rewarding!
I will usually only ever have 1 dog in my care along with my own. On the odd occasion I may have 2 but thats my maximum and depends entirely on whether the dogs temperaments are suited.

Hi!
I’m Rachel. I am currently working as a psychology researcher, so I conduct interviews that cover people’s experience of certain situations usually relating to wellbeing.
I have two cats and regularly dog sit. I would eventually love some form of farm. My oldest cat is Mabel and she was a rescue who I slowly brought from a hissy missy to a loving cuddly cat. My second Artemis is a mischievous little cat who loves to shred paper and butt pats. I have dealt with the whole process of integrating two dominant female cats.
I love all kinds of animals and don't have many hesitations about sitting a range of pets. I have participated in a fair share of birds of prey flying sessions and have an intense love for goats. I would love to get to know your pet and learn the best way to care for them so they feel comfortable.
During dog walks I can offer some level of training like sit, paw, wait, come, lie down, down, etc.
During pet visits I can offer basic levels of care such as brushing and feeding. As well as the obvious play and cuddle time if this is something your pet enjoys.
Other services such as watering plants and bringing in mail are available if required.
Photos as proof available for all.
