Hi,My name is Silvia and I am a passionate animal lover. With a 6+ year experience in rescues (Dogs Trust) and daycare settings, I offer walking, sitting and training services in Brighton, Hove, Shoreham-by-Sea and Portslade. From dog walking (solo walks, 1 hour long, country walks included), drop in visits up to 2 hours at any time of the day including evenings, daytime sitting (timing is flexible) and overnight staying at your house. I am available most days of the week, days and times of services will need discussing according to your needs and my availability. During my stay with your pet I will make sure they receive the best care, cuddles and entertainment with games and training when applicable.&nbsp;I am first aid trained and I am qualifying as a canine behaviour specialist so I can offer advice on training and management of dogs with special needs. I can also administer medications (tablets, injections etc) and I have basic grooming skills too (bath, nail cutting, removing nots and mats).&nbsp;I have extended knowledge of the behaviour and needs of nervous and reactive dogs in particular, animal welfare and various training methods. But I can look after all sorts of pets including cats and rabbits and I absolutely love my job! The first meet with you and your pet is free of charge and the first walk for rescue dogs is also free!I am also a proud dog mum of a wonderful Romanian rescue and I understand how valuable it is to find the right person to look after your animal. I love dogs and have grown up with them, from small Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Terriers, Shelties, Spaniels, Border Collies, Schnauzers and German Shepherds.&nbsp;
I'm the proud Mummy of Dougal the Schnoodle and adored my late dog Coco the mixed terrier. Dogs bring great happiness and comfort to me. My late dog Coco had Addison's disease, a rare medical condition and I'm empathetic/experienced in dealing with vulnerable and older dogs. I would often sit with Coco and let her into the garden several times in the early hours of the morning. I will go above and beyond for our Furry Dog Friends.&nbsp;
At the moment I can't offer home boarding but I would be delighted to drop in to see any dogs requiring walks, feeding and of course unlimited cuddles.

Hi, I’m Lucy and I have a springer spaniel called Rico, who is the most loving and affectionate dog I’ve ever known. He’s full of energy, gives endless cuddles, and just wants to be everyone’s best friend. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone who truly cares, and I would treat any dog I look after as if they were my own. Although I don’t have professional pet-sitting experience, I’ve grown up with dogs and know how much love and attention they need. I work 7:30-12:30 three times a week.

Description
I have grown up with dogs in my family and caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. Being around dogs brings me a real sense of calm, joy, and connection, and I genuinely love spending time outdoors in all weathers. Becoming a dog walker feels like a natural fit for who I am and how I live my life.

I am a calm, patient, and grounded person, which dogs tend to respond well to. I am also physically fit and active, so I am comfortable with longer walks, energetic dogs, and different walking environments. I understand how important routine, safety, and trust are when caring for someone’s pet, and I treat every dog as if they were my own.

Availability:
I am usually available for morning and afternoon walks, with some flexibility depending on the day.

Services I offer:
Dog walking, drop-in home visits for feeding, companionship, and basic care. I can administer simple oral medication if required, but I do not currently offer grooming or formal training.

Home visits:
Visits typically last 30–45 minutes. I am happy to water plants and bring in post if needed.

Dog walking:
Walks usually last 30–60 minutes depending on your dog’s needs. I walk locally in parks, green spaces, woodland areas, and quiet residential routes where dogs can enjoy variety and stimulation.

House sitting:
For house sitting, I can stay for extended daytime periods or overnight where required. I always ensure doors and windows are secure, follow your home routines carefully, and keep everything safe and respectful.

I have great experience of petsitting in Brighton and Hove - it's the best job in the world! I love going for walks, but going without a dog feels a bit strange.

I adore canine company, and understand that dogs respond to calm, confidence and positivity. Your fur baby is safe with me: I’ll talk to them, play with them and always be clued-in to their needs and behaviour.
I often do pet sits via Pawshake, and word of mouth. I have volunteered in dog shelters, where many had behavioural problems and needed special care.&nbsp;
I've just come back from volunteering at a dog shelter in Portugal, where I helped to look after around 90 dogs. I have also been a volunteer at a dog hotel, where I helped to look after (and spoil!) around 30 guests. I also have good experience of walking reactive dogs.

If I'm free, I'm happy to help at short notice.
As well as overnight sits at your home I can offer walking, drop in visits or sitting.

Hello! My name is Juliette, I am 22 years old and I have a lifelong passion for animals and extensive hands-on experience with a variety of pets. I cared for my own cats for now 15 years, including through illness, and still have a cat named Toupie today that I love more than anything. I’ve also looked after my grandparents’ two poodles for a while and currently care for my boyfriend’s cute German Shepherd named Skye (now that I moved in with him). Don't be scared, Skye is completely harmless, and your dog would stay with me in the Annex (the studio where I leave in the house). I will walk only with your dog without Skye, and it would go in the backyard alone without her either. I taught some tricks to Skye so if you're interested I can have fun try with your dog!

Shes super friendly and loves company. She's often herself gone to doggy day care and is great with other breeds. I have a big garden, we now live in Pyecombe so everyday we go on country walks.- I have two small children, one who is 9 and one baby who is 2, they are both amazing with animals.
