Having grown up with dogs, I have lots of experience of dog walking, feeding, and general care (this includes cleaning up any messes!). On moving into my own home, I got my first cat, and fell head over heels with our feline friends too. I would love to become a pet sitter to be able to give fellow pet owners peace of mind that their pet is being well looked after, as if it was them still at home- as well as being able to meet more local furry friends! Outside of pet care, I am a Trainee Clinical Psychologist working in the NHS. I understand how important our pets' wellbeing is to our own physical and mental health, and am devoted to being as compassionate to your pets and I am to the people I work with. I also hold an enhanced DBS certificate.&nbsp;


Hi!  My name is Jessie and I am passionate about pets so much so that I work with them everyday!! I work at a luxury cat hotel caring for the needs of various breeds of cats while their owners are away.  I have gained experience with all kinds of breeds and tempremant of cat including maine coons, cornish rexes, sphynx , moggies and many more!! But also dogs as well, as I have done dog walking and sitting for over 6 years now. I love cats and dogs alike!&nbsp;I own my own cat Nero who is a 14 year old tabby with a big personality and a spunky russian blue cross called Gretel along with my kitten Robyn!!I also have a level 2 diploma in feline care and behaviour which along with fundamental knowledge in caring for cats has taught me basic first aid skills which can also be applied to our doggy friends.

Since I was a little girl, I’ve always had a deep love and passion for animals, often ditching humans and choosing to hang out with my little furry friends. Over the years I've owned Dogs, Cats, Guinea Pigs, Rabbits and much more, so Cats &amp; Dogs have always had a special place in my heart. 
Coming from a big family of animal lovers has meant I’ve got well over 20 years of experience when it comes to playing, walking, grooming and general caring for and nurturing the needs of Cats &amp; Dogs. I’ve looked after breeds of every kind, as family and friends have entrusted me to look after their pets over the years. 
After so many years of experience, I decided to start working professionally with animals and have never looked back. Animals and wildlife are my biggest passions in life and I could not think of a better way of repaying them for the joy they have given me over the years than dedicating part of my vocation and life to them. It is truly a blessing to get to do what I love everyday. 
If you want your dogs, cats and little furry friends to be absolutely spoilt with love, nurturing and care then I am the right person for you. To work with animals has always been a huge goalof mine, thinking of becoming a vet was a first on my list but, I cannot dealwith blood or anything to do with the anatomy so that wasn't an option (pleasenote, if your pet is in a medical emergency, blood is the last thing on mymind. These animals are like my own and I will forever treat them like this,their health and welfare come before any rational fear).Working in a zoo was my next possibility, although none were close to my homeor my family, I also needed a 10 year+ degree, not just experience.My third option was this... And can I say, I have not ONCE regretted mydecision. Working with all these beautiful pets, watching how happy and lovedthey are, including those who care for wildlife out of their own hearts.The dedication and love I put into this 'job' is so fulfilling to not justmyself, but the clients I have and the pets they own. I'm a friendly and reliable 40-something mum and a lifelong animal lover. I adore walking dogs and keeping pets company with pop-in visits. I live in the village of Renhold in Bedfordshire but I drive so I am always happy to travel into Bedford or around the local villages. I am generally available on weekdays between 9am and 3pm.
As a dog walker I will come to your home to collect your dog for a 30 minute walk. I also offer a pop-in service where I can visit your home for 30 minutes to feed, change the water for and play with your cat or dog, as well as cleaning and refilling litter trays and administering any medication. I can also water your plants and bring in the mail. I will always update you on how your pet is and what we've been up to!
I have a cheeky seven-year-old fox terrier of my own called Astrid who loves to play, and I have owned cats, dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs throughout my life. Hi my name is Chester. I've worked with horses professionally for the last 6 years but have owned dogs my entire life. I have first hand experience with large breeds such as staffies, huskies, great danes and Belgium malinois. And am currently working on rehabilitating a very nervous Romanian street dog! So, I'm very used to handling animals of all sizes, even the ones that are a little naughty.
Working on horse yards has made me a very detail orientated and caring person. The welfare of my animals will always stay top priority. And with yards comes dogs and cats, so I have often looked after the owners pets while they were away as well as watching the house.
I'm available to take your dog on an enriching wander. Stop in, say hi and play with your animal during the day. Or stay over while you're away. As often as you need!&nbsp;
