My name is Sonia. 
I had a dog for 14 years and one does feel their absence when they go. Since then, I did not own my own dog again but I feel a special connection with most dogs and cats. Two of my friends leave their pets with me whenever they need to and they couldn’t be happier, and that makes me very happy too! So I thought of expanding this love further and offer my time to take care of animals :)
I work from home and I am free most weekends. I enjoy going for walks in the nature with my furry friends or staying around town. I usually go for walks around 4 times per day when pets stay with me.
I live in a house with a fenced garden. My home is safe and quiet. There is a park nearby where I like to go to train, walk or enjoy a snack. I don't smoke or have pets nor kids.
Regarding my services, I can take care of your pet during the day for as many hours as requested or they can spend the night at my home too. I accept both short stays and long stays￼. My policy is 'first come, first served', and I will check with the person of a confirmed booking before confirming a second booking, in case pets have co-living preferences. Repeating customers may take preference since it is ideal for pets to feel like they are at their second home :)
I kindly ask that bookings are not made with me for dogs who are markers (urinating to mark territory or due to anxiety), dogs that are not fully house-trained, or puppies/adult dogs who are not in full control of their bladder for any reason, for example excitement or fear.
I would also appreciate being informed if your pet has any special needs, so I can adjust my care to suit them as best as possible. 
Additionally, for the comfort and well-being of all, I kindly request that your dog is washed or groomed before the drop-off date.

My motivation for being a pet sitter comes from genuine love for animals and the joy they bring into everyday life. I have 2 dogs of my own and I understand how important it is to trust someone with a pet who is part of the family, and I take that responsibility seriously. Knowing this, I am deeply committed to proving a safe, calm and loving environment where dogs feel secure and well looked after while their owners are away. If you do not wish for me to care for other dogs then I will solely only take in your dog whilst you're away. I am passionate about offering care that goes beyond basic needs. I take the time to understand each dogs routine and preferences, whether that means extra playtime, gentle reassurance, regular exercise or simply quite companionship, I believe that every pet deserves patience, kindness and individual attention, and I take pride in treating each as if they were my own. We go on daily walks with our dogs ensuring they get the fresh air they deserve, we also have a big garden they can play and run in.
I am hybrid working so I am mostly always around and my goal is always to ensure they feel comfortable, happy and stress free, while also giving owners peace of mind knowing their pets are in responsible and caring hands.
I offer daily walks, dog boarding, dog visiting , if your dog feels more comfortable at home I also offer staying your house so your dog feels happier and more relaxed.

My whole life, I have always loved and cared for animals, both my own and other people's (including dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, ferrets and many others). Nothing means more to me than the happiness and health of our beloved animals. I understand that they mean the world to us and want to make sure everyone feels reassured that they will be left in safe hands!
It is always important to be calm and patient with any animal and I feel that most animals have always warmed up to me instantly.
I will provide your pets with lots of attention and enrichment to keep them entertained. Please let me know if they have a favourite toy/treat as I want them to feel as comfortable and at home as possible.
I have many years of experience working in veterinary, so I do have basic knowledge of animal health, which may also help give any owners with animals that need extra care the peace of mind.
I have plenty of time at the moment to take care of your animals so please get in touch and let me know all about them!
If they like to go for walks to particular places, please let me know as I want them to be as comfortable as possible and familiar surroundings are always a plus :)


I have grown up in the countryside surrounded by animals - dogs, hamsters, rabbits and cats. I've got experience of dog and cat sitting and lots of experience walking dogs and looking after all the animals listed above. I currently have my own beautiful golden retriever. 

A bit about me- I live in Rainow. Have a private garden and live just up the lane from river for dogs to play in. 
Grew up in the Peak District and my hobbies include walking/ hiking (especially when with a dog) and outdoor/ cold water swimming. 

Happy to look after most pets. Happy to do dog walks and do home visits. Can potentially do dog sitting/ dog stays as well depending on the dog and relationship. Can walk far if needed so if you're after a long walk for your dog this can be sorted! Hi, I'm Lizzy! I've been housesitting since 2020 - I housesat for a friend's gentle and playful cat for 2 weeks, and I've been hooked ever since! Looking after cats, dogs and chickens in multiple countries as well as around the UK has been an absolutely wonderful experience - reviews from external sites available on request. I'm absolutely a cat lady at heart but have a real soft spot for rabbits and guinea pigs.I grew up with guinea pigs and walking friends' dogs, and owned house rabbits in the past - very fun and rewarding pets! As well as the last few years of housesitting my experience includes volunteering at a small wildlife rescue and on small farms in Norway &amp; Finland.&nbsp;
My priority is always the pets and home in my care, and I'll do everything I can to keep your pets happy and house safe. I totally understand nervousness or worry about leaving your pet &amp; home in the hands of a sitter, so I ask plenty of questions upfront to make sure everything is completely clear and I have all the details I need to follow your routines and keep the home secure. I love to take photos of pets so I always make sure to send these at each visit or a couple of times per day on overnight sits (or as requested by the owner).
I only do housesitting in a client's home, and am unable to board pets in my home.

In between walking other people's dogs I like travelling (when possible with my dogs). I am a long term Mountain Bothy Association member and user, member and volunteer for Staffordshire Wildlife Trust, usually in Biddulph Grange.
I have two dogs and a cat (Tricolour Collie and a Lancashire Heeler) who I take on short and long distance walks.
I have had dogs all my life, won best-trained dog competition once in Somerset with my then dog Bob. I have always had long-lived dogs which I attribute to spending all my time with them, lots of exercise, keeping the weight off them and keeping food simple.
To me dogs are best-friends, not fashion accessories.
Kitty is a dog friendly inside cat. Unfortunately I can't take dogs in as it upsets her. Even though she is dog friendly all cats need a routine (also important for dogs but more so with cats).
Happy to look after cats in other people's houses.
I used do do a lot of mountain walking but following a few scary events I now apply a simple rule: if my dogs can't go there neither can I.
