I have previously volunteered at the RSPCA Animal Shelter where I was responsible for the care of cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, mice and other animals. I loved my experience volunteering at the RSPCA as I got the opportunity to provide care and affection to those animals that need it most. At the RSPCA i would feed/water the animals, take the dogs out for walks and exercise, play with and cuddle the cats, clean animal enclosures and groom the animals. I have had many different pets over the years myself including: dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, mice, fish, hermit crabs.

Hi! My name is Richie and I'm a non-drinking, non-smoking, reponsible and caring pet fanatic based in South Wales. I drive and am super flexible and available in the surrounding areas including Bristol. I just love the company of animals and meeting new people so, while I don't have pets of my own right now, I love using this opportunity and platform to help people who need to leave their beloved pets in the care of someone who really wants to be there with them.&nbsp;
I've been blessed enough to have had a variety of pets in my life from a very early age and I loved all of them dearly - from hamsters to cats to dogs! I have been looking after animals of all kinds, however - including ducks, goats, sheep and chickens - for over 6 years now on a variety of similar platforms, both on a short-stay and long-term basis.
I've had recurring hosts on a number of platforms, the most recent of which has two beautiful chocolate labradors and a cheeky cat full of character called Charlie. The twin labs were instantly super familiar with me and I with them along with their sleeping, feeding, exercise and medication routines. It was my attention to detail and bond with the girls and their feline brother that had me asked back on several occasions.
My last house sit before joining this platform was for 3 weeks with an 8-month old husky, a 9-year-old German shepherd, and their feline friend, Echo. They were all so adorable and affectionate and the perfect reminder of why I love doing this so much!
I once spent 4 whole months in the south of Spain looking after three dogs, two cats, 3 ducks and 12 chickens for a wonderful couple from Dorset! This was the most remote house sit I've ever done and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I've looked after pets in all kinds of settings, both rural and urban. I work remotely so I am flexible and I drive, so I can be available at the last minute.
I'm available any time to discuss all of your pets needs by phone or Zoom or by whatever means suits best. Be assured that my priority is always the comfort and welfare of the animals in their owners' absence, and I go out of my way to treat them as my own. I am someone who pays real attention to details, so any particulars around sleep patterns, diets, eating times, methods, toys, dos and dont's, medication etc. will be handled with the utmost of care.

I can handle any breed, size, or energy level, as i have a 36kilo high energy giant schnauzer and a much smaller senior mini schnauzer back home in America. They've been with me since they were puppies, so I can help with basic puppy training (housebreaking included) as well! Im also quite talented at getting dogs to take their medicine ;)&nbsp;
I've volunteered at cat shelters before, and I've taken care of neighbours' dogs in the past.&nbsp;

If you're looking for dog walking, I do expect them to be up to date on vaccinations for the safety of them and other dogs outside. However, if they're only in the house, especially if they're recently adopted or puppies, I don't mind looking after them while they wait to get vaccinated, just be sure to let me know for the safety of other dogs I may come in contact with.&nbsp;
I have flexible availability, I can work with your schedule as long as I don't have class (Tuesday/Thursday mornings).&nbsp;

Now retired, and concentrating on my cat sitting.&nbsp;
I'm a mad cat lady &amp; have lived with 1 to 5 cats for the last 40 years. I have been adopted by 2 cats from Cats Protection, Rosie Buttocks &amp; Shellie Bellie (who are still unsure whether they're friends with each other).
I've also taken care of mice, gerbils, rabbits, goldfish (indoors &amp; out), tropical fish &amp; budgies for the kids &amp; frogs, toads, slow worms, shrews &amp; sparrows for our mogs.
I have administered many tablets to amenable &amp; objectionable kitties by bribing with sweets... Ah..that's the grandkids... cat treats or their favourite food.
Feisty, timid and all in between, I've toys, kitty story books and a soft lap to suit all their needs for a great holiday staycation.
All their needs were catered to, and some they didn't even know they wanted.
Morning, midday &amp; evenings available, but as I prefer to walk everywhere, my area is limited to Whitchurch Cardiff

I'm a 19 year old student studying Professional Policing and currently working part-time alongside this. I have always had a passion for all different animals and i'm very excited to start this new journey. Animals are the most important thing to me as I see them as family not pets. I have had many animals growing up and all sorts of sizes. I have a Giant Golden doodle named Aleister who is almost 9 years old. I take great care of him, I take him for daily walks as he's such a big dog he also has to much energy for his age! He is a very playful, gentle and great with puppies. He makes an amazing companion and he's an amazing member of the family.
This passion for animals i've had since I was very young. I'm very protective with animals and I can't quite put into words how to describe this amount of love I have for these amazing four-legged creatures! 

•Dog walks
Dog walks could range from 10 mins- 1 hour. This would be a preference for you and your dog. I understand older dogs may need less than an hour so this range gives you full control and closure to know how long your dogs will be out for. I can also do 1 dog if your dog is reactive to other dogs ext.. This is totally optional for you to choose from as you know your pets better than anyone!

• Transport 
I have a full UK driving licence. I drive a Volkswagen Polo with 5 doors. This is ideal for older dogs and seats wouldn't have to be put down! they can jump straight in the back. I have 1 seatbelt and looking to purchase another one soon! this would be ideal for the safety of your pets!

• Availability and how I work. 
I’m available on weekdays and weekends for walks and visits. I’m patient with shy, energetic, and senior dogs, and I adapt to each dog’s needs and personality. Safety is my priority during walks and playtime. A typical visit includes feeding, exercise, play, cuddles, and regular updates for owners. I accept small to large friendly dogs and always aim to provide calm, loving, and reliable care.

•Contact
I am very easy to contact via multiple platforms such as, Whatsapp, Messages, Instagram, Telegram etc.. I always have my phone on loud so i am easily reachable for emergencies. If for however reason i do not answer. I can assure you that I will get back to you shortly. I could be with another dog etc.. 

Regular and routine walks are essential to ensure your pet's quality of life, rain or shine. Dogs need routines and social interaction to learn from humans and other dogs.
