Hi! I’m Roxy, a lifelong dog lover who has grown up with dogs for as long as I can remember. They have always been part of my family, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I recently moved to Newcastle for work, which means I’m no longer close to my family dogs, and I really miss having them around. Joining Pawshake is the perfect way for me to spend time doing something I genuinely love while helping owners feel confident that their pets are in caring hands.
Growing up with dogs has given me experience caring for different personalities and energy levels. I understand that every dog is unique—some love long adventures and playing fetch, while others prefer a slower-paced stroll and lots of cuddles. I’m happy to adapt to your dog’s routine, ensuring they feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for.
Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are always my priority. I always keep dogs on their lead unless instructed otherwise and it’s safe to do so, pay close attention during walks, and follow any routines or training you have in place. If your dog has any special requirements, medication, or preferences, I’m more than happy to accommodate them. In the unlikely event of an emergency, I’ll contact you immediately and follow your instructions while making sure your pet is safe.
I’m available for dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. Walks typically last 30–60 minutes, depending on your dog’s age, energy levels, and your preferences. During visits, I’ll provide fresh food and water, toilet breaks, playtime, companionship, plenty of affection, and regular photo updates so you can see how your pet is getting on.
I’m flexible on weekends and available most afternoons and evenings during the week, making it easy to fit around your schedule.
I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet because they’re family. I’ll treat every dog as if they were my own—with patience, kindness, and lots of love. I can’t wait to meet you and your four-legged best friend!

Hello! I’m Pravalika, a student currently living in the UK and a lifelong animal lover. Back home, I have a dog named Luna who means the world to me, and being away from her has made me realise how much happiness pets bring into daily life. Spending time with animals here helps me stay connected to that joy, and that’s why I’m passionate about pet sitting and dog walking.
Along with caring for my own dog, I also walked 3–4 dogs a day in my neighbourhood. This gave me hands-on experience with different breeds, personalities, and energy levels. I’m confident handling shy pets, playful ones, and even strong pullers, always adjusting my approach to suit each dog’s unique needs.
Safety is always a priority for me—I choose safe walking routes, keep dogs comfortable, and follow any specific instructions you provide. Whether it’s sticking to feeding routines, favourite toys, or preferred play styles, I make sure your pet feels secure, understood, and loved while you’re away.
I would be happy to care for your furry friend just like I care for Luna.

Hi! I'm Ellie! Originally from Nottingham but moved back to Newcastle August 2023. I have two children, two cats and one dog. I love to keep busy and always love to pet a cat or dog in the street (yes you'll see me stop everything to pet them). I have grown up with cats and dogs all my life and absolutely adore other animals. My brother even has a bearded dragon which I love too! I'm available most days before, during and after school run times. I will keep you updated with pictures, messages with any concerns of behaviour ,eating or toilet issues. Nothing is a bother. I'd treat your pets how I'd like mine treated. The experience I have is close friends and family, but want to take it to the next step in giving more options for others who need to be away from their home and make sure their pets are well looked after. My services include : cat sitting, small animal sitting, and dog sitting. This includes giving medication also as I have experience with a diabetic cat. I'm currently unavailable for dog walking but can visit dogs for playtime and feeding time. Pop me a message for more info ️

Hi, I’m Lisa! I’ve always had a love for animals, from family pets to my rescue dog Jesse, and I enjoy caring for pets of all shapes and sizes. I offer mobile pet care services including dog walking, pop-in visits, and in-home care for cats and small animals.

For dog walking, I tailor each walk to your pet’s energy and needs. Typical walks last 30–60 minutes in local parks, trails, and quiet streets around Stanley and Consett. I handle everything from calm, elderly dogs to energetic pups, and I can accommodate shy or nervous dogs with patience and positive reinforcement. I make sure each dog is exercised, happy, and safe, and I can walk multiple dogs from the same household if they are comfortable together.

During pop-in visits, I follow your instructions exactly, whether that’s feeding, giving medication, cleaning litter trays, or spending quality playtime with your pet. I’m happy to learn additional skills in pet first aid or administering medications to provide even more care and peace of mind.
Some examples of my experience:

Comforting a nervous rescue dog on its first walk outside
Giving multiple dogs from one household a structured walk while keeping them safe and happy
Adjusting routines for elderly pets with limited mobility

I work flexibly around my schedule, making it easy to fit walks and visits at times that suit you. My goal is always to make your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while giving you peace of mind when you’re away.
