Hello, my name is Lucy, and I’m a reliable and friendly sitter who loves spending time with animals. I have a lot of care and affection for pets, and I’d love to use Pawshake as a way to spend more of my free time around them.

Although I don’t currently have pets of my own or professional experience, I’ve had opportunities to walk dogs with friends and I really enjoy caring for them, playing with them, and keeping them company. I understand how important it is for owners to feel comfortable and reassured, so I’d be more than happy to meet beforehand so you can feel confident your pets are in safe and caring hands.

I’m happy to offer 30-minute dog walks, as well as pet sitting and caring for pets in owners’ homes. During walks and visits, I’ll always make sure your pets are safe, comfortable, well looked after, and given plenty of attention, care, and companionship. Whether that’s playing with them, keeping them company, making sure they have fresh water, or sticking to their usual routine, I’ll always treat them with kindness and patience.

In terms of availability, I work bank staff shifts, so if I’m given around a week’s notice for walks or pet sitting, I can usually book those days off in advance to make things work more efficiently and ensure I’m available for your pets.

At the moment, I won’t be offering pet boarding in my own home, but I’m excited to help care for your pets in a way that suits you best. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

My name is Samantha and I have so much love for animals and I am passionate about their care. I look after predominantly dogs. I have grown up with dogs most of my life.
I started dog sitting for friends and family about 5 years ago and found it to be such a joy and meaningful experience.
I taught myself to understand the needs for dogs. Including, behavioural characteristics, different care when it comes to age, i.e looking after a puppy compared to a senior dog. I also have experience in administrating medical care for dogs.
So when it comes to taking care of your animal, I believe I am the person for you.
Every dog I look after deserves the best love and best care.
At the end of the day, they want to be loved and made to feel safe. I think that is especially important when their owner is absent. Letting them know that you are there to take care of them and to be looked after in the best way is so important.
My normal routine when dog sitting depends on the owner's specific needs for their pet.
I will feed the dog in the morning, play with them, give them cuddles, walk them for around 45 minutes to an hour. Make sure they are happy and hydrated. Give them dinner in the evening. If needed, I'll make sure any medication is administered. I also send photo updates and any other updates to the owner to help them feel happy and reassured that their beloved pet is being taken care of to the highest standard.
My personal experience with dogs has always been very straightforward. I have had to give a little training here and there, in regards to improving behavioural characteristics meaning pulling on leads, barking at people or other animals whilst on walks etc
I like to think of myself as considerate and caring and someone who only wants the best for animals. All they really want is love and it is up to us to make them feel that.

I am a true animal lover, that means I naturally take care of them. As a cat owner myself I know just how important it is to find a person that you can trust and rely upon, plus we know that cats are very territorial, so are less stressed and happier in their own environment rather than in a cattery. I can help :-)) I believe I can be the ideal person to look after your sweethearts as I treat them with the love and care that I would my own. I have been a pet owner all my life. I have gained experience with almost all domestic animals; as a child I used to feed any stray cat I encountered and as a teenager I used to rescue animals... I have had a Siamese cat for about 15 years and I am now enjoying the company of two very cute furry friends, Fuffy and Kimora./p>
MY SERVICES: - I will come to your house to feed/change water for your cat(s), empty, clean and re-fill the litter tray and spend the rest of my visit playing with your cat(s) to ensure they are not lonely whilst you are away. - I will regularly update you via text /e-mail /whatsapp. - If I notice a change in eating habits or anything else I will make sure it is detailed for you to know. Should I become very concerned, I will of course contact you and will take your cat to a vet if needed. - I will make sure that your house appears lived in by switching lights on/off, opening/closing curtains and water your plants if needed. - In addition to daily visits, I can also offer over night service. This can be helpful with people who have older cats, young kittens, or just pet owners wanting the assurance that there is someone in their home.
Other services: DOG WALKING
I am available for pet visits and dog walking in Bedford town centre.

I am currently a teacher who is maternity leave and looking at changing my direction of work. I have got two dogs of my own and love meeting other dogs when out of the house. One of them can be quite nervous, so I have a few tactics to help those who may also be nervous when out on walks. I also have a very young baby and would like him to get used to dogs and animals as they are very much part of our lives. Over my life, I have had rabbits, Guinea pigs, hamsters, cats and dogs as well as looking after my friends cats and mice.
I am always looking after my in laws dogs as well as other family members animals. I am always carrying around dog treats, so I am someone who puts on a new coat and can guarantee there is a poo bag or treats hiding in there somewhere.

I am offering dog walking and home visits within my services. During the dog walking sessions, it will only be your dog. They will have lots of enrichment within the walk from long sniff times and some on the spot basic sit and down stays with treats as rewards. Any allergies will need to be noted before walking. I will aim to walk your dog anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the size and requirements of your dog. Dependent on location, I enjoy a more rural dog walk, where they have lots of grass to walk through and lots to stimulate their senses.
Whilst in the drop ins, I am happy to see to other animals you may have, such as cats, Guinea pigs and hamsters. I haven't had any experience with birds or ferrets, however would be happy to provide them with food or water. I can also water plants and put any Mail into a designated space in the house. One drop in a day would see me dropping into your house between 9-12 and then two drop ins would be between 9-12 and 3-6. If you have an early morning drop in, you will then have an early evening drop in. I aim to spend 30-45 minutes (if one to two pets)or a little longer if you have more than two animals, making sure they have a trip to the toilet and some play time outside. I am also happy to create any enrichment activities, like snuffle mats, if this is something you would require.

Hi, I’m Martha! I’ve always had a genuine love for animals, and caring for dogs is something I truly enjoy. I have hands-on experience working with dogs in a kennel environment, as well as experience in veterinary and grooming settings. When looking after your dog, I want them to feel safe, loved, comfortable and happy. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine and needs, and I’m always happy to take the time to get to know them and make them feel at ease.I’m particularly gentle and patient with nervous or shy dogs and will never rush them. I love giving dogs plenty of attention, cuddles, playtime and exercise, while making sure they have everything they need.Your pet’s wellbeing is my biggest priority, and I’ll care for them as if they were my own. ️ I’m reliable, responsible and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure they’re happy and well cared for. I’d love to meet your furry friend and give them all the love and care they deserve!

Hi, my name is Sabrina, I have 3 cats of my own and I work from home so have a lot of spare time on my hands, I'm looking to be more active and get out of the house more so I would love to come walk your dog or feed and play with your cat. Dog walks include a 30 minute dog walk, let me know more about your dog and I can tailor their walk to them. I'm can also feed your dog, give them treats, refresh their water or even just let them out in the garden and play with them for 30 minutes.
For Cats I'm happy to let them out if they need to, feed them, play with them, scoop a litter tray if applicable, change their water, give them treats and just generally give them some love.
My cats are very fussy so I understand if you also have a fussy pet and I'm happy to learn all their personal traits to help tailor the experience to you and your animal.
If you let me know your pets normal behaviour and personality I can make sure I always know they are happy and healthy. If there is an emergency I have a car and am happy to take your animal to a vet if required. Other services include transport to vet appointments or other locations.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions

I'm a friendly and reliable 40-something mum and a lifelong animal lover. I adore walking dogs and keeping pets company with pop-in visits. I live in the village of Renhold in Bedfordshire but I drive so I am always happy to travel into Bedford or around the local villages. I am generally available on weekdays between 9am and 3pm.
As a dog walker I will come to your home to collect your dog for a 30 minute walk. I also offer a pop-in service where I can visit your home for 30 minutes to feed, change the water for and play with your cat or dog, as well as cleaning and refilling litter trays and administering any medication. I can also water your plants and bring in the mail. I will always update you on how your pet is and what we've been up to!
I have a cheeky seven-year-old fox terrier of my own called Astrid who loves to play, and I have owned cats, dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs throughout my life. I'm an experienced pet carer who will always treat your pet with the same amount of care and attention as my own and shower them with love.
