Hello I’m Niamh I have a passion for animals and I’m extremely patient and caring and I can work around your schedule without problem. I'm a owner of my own pets so I understand how important your furry friend is to you and I will make sure to make sure your pet feel happy and calm no matter what I know how worrying it can be to leave your pet, so I understand it's stressful trying to find the right person. I am qualified in animal management with a level 3 qualification, I have a huge passion for animals and love any animal furry or not .
from me you can expect top level care and patience for your pet I'll be more than happy to tire your pet out by playing with them/ walking them or even just by spending quality time with them to ensure they feel safe and comfortable while I care for them.
my motivation to be a pet sitter comes from my love for animals big and small I love keeping animals happy and comfortable, my main priority while pet sitting would be keeping your furry friends happy and comfortable no matter what.

With a lifelong passion for dogs and the proud owner of five furry companions throughout my life, I bring a wealth of pet care experience to the table.
No matter the breed, I can ensure your pup receives the care and attention they deserve. Not afraid to get my hands dirty (literally!) I'm well versed in grooming after a muddy adventure.
Plus I have a knack for puppy training after years of attending classes, your dog will be in very good hands! I am CPD accredited in Dog First Aid and Emergency Canine Care until 2028
I've comfortably looked after a variety of sized dogs, including:
Small Breeds - Pugs, Lhasa Apso, Jack Russell / Shih Tzu / Poodle (Cross)
Medium Breeds - Border Collie, American Bulldog, American Bully, Springer & Cocker Spaniels
Large Breeds - Boxers, Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Husky, German Shepherd, Labradoodle
My experience in this industry started as a teenager, providing overnight care for neighbours and relatives pets (spanning up to two weeks board on a number of occasions).
I started promoting my dog sitting services properly in 2024 and have since cared for 6 dogs. All of these owners have since rebooked with me, and I have another 3 dogs confirmed this year off the back of it.
I hope my portfolio of fur babies continues to grow from this positive feedback, as I'd love to meet lots of new faces in 2025

Caring for my 2 cats has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and it has deepened my love and understanding of animals. I have learned to anticipate their needs, provide comfort, and create a safe and happy environment for them.
This has inspired me to become a pet sitter, where I can extend the same level of care and attention to other pets. I understand that pets are more than just animals—they are family members who deserve to be treated with respect and love.
As a pet sitter, my goal is to provide a reliable, compassionate service that ensures pets feel secure and happy while their owners are away. I am motivated by the joy of connecting with animals and helping them feel at ease, knowing that they are in good hands.
My own experience with animals can helps me to understand how our pets need and take care them with love and passion.
DBS certificate can be provided if required.

My name is Jess, I'm a student living in the centre of Sheffield. I want to dog sit because I absolutely love dogs and spending time with them! The services I offer at overnight stays and house visits to check on your gorgeous dogs!. I'm a trustworthy person with experience of dog sitting for about 3 years with references from family and friends. I can take dogs out on a range of different walking distances and I am good with communication and honesty. You will never find a more trustworthy and reliable dog sitter than me!! In my spare time I like to go home and see my family dog and take her out for walks on the moors and make sure she's bathed and well fed with lots of cuddles!! Don't hesitate to contact me for any dog sitting opportunities whether these be regular or just a one off :) .

Hi I'm John, I am family man of 6 children and many grandchildren, we have had pets all our life so far, dogs which are great companions called lucky and Beauty, they were loved and cared for many years ago, love playing and walking and cuddles groomed , also we have had many cats and kittens, also loved and cared for, especially my own cat cheeky, she was a cheeky girl got In to mischief but that was her personality. She got in to trouble with community whom sadly miss treated her abused her, ever fire works attached to her , this created anxiety and depression to her life, she also got knocked over by car had her pelvis rebuilt , thankfully made full recovery with my support she got back on her feet. She has been my friend and companion for over 21 years after passing. She is still with me in my heart. She comes where ever I am. Now we have a two year old cat Harry new in our family.
Every pet deserves the love and attentiveness and a friend. I am happy to come and spend time with your friends too. To help care for your loved ones and support them, sadly I am unable to provide boarding or day care in my home as I'm not licensed as of yet. But I do believe in your pets best interest they are more comfortable in their own home environment.

Quick note: I work part-time, 8-10 hour shifts in Lindley, Huddersfield which prevent me from dog sitting long periods; cat sitting is fine as long as you're happy with me being away from the home for half the day on random days (3-4 days of the week). I don't have a car and only pet sit in areas within an 8 mile cycle radius of Huddersfield. Thanks.Introduction Hello! I'm Chris. I'm relatively new to Pawshake however please don't mistake that for inexperience. I semi often look after my friends' cats and dogs whenever they go on holiday and I love it for mainly two reasons: One, I love hanging out, playing with and caring for my furry friends and Two, it means a lot to me that my friends trust me with their pets. My experience Over the years, I've dog and cat sat for quite a few of my friends. I believe the reason they always ask me is, not only do they trust me but also I've got to know their pets really well through play and being around them for long periods of time. Their pets are comfortable around me and me them. Having a dog growing up definitely helped me understand animals better (my wee Jack Russell, Toffee - I miss him so much! ) alas I do believe I'm naturally good with cats and dogs, regardless. My experience with dogs has ranged from looking after my friend Gail's two tiny Papillon, one very high energy and playful, the other older and more reserved, to my other friend Elisa's huge St. Bernard puppy - very friendly and sweet yet needed a lot of attention and play (and also a bit stubborn, not judging at all!). I have cat sat for my friends, Thomas and Adélie, quite a few times - they have a beautiful British Shorthair, Ravelle. I am privileged enough to have bonded with Ravelle from when he was a kitten with lots of play; I wish I could say cuddles but British Shorthair are not commonly known to be very cuddly! He is wary of most of Thomas and Adélie's friends but will happily sit very close to me when I visit, something my friends are always surprised at. I think it's because we bonded so well during those early years. Why I'm a dog walker / pet sitterThe main motivations for looking after animals is because I have decided to change my career. I'm studying to become a psychotherapist. This is much more suited to who I am as a person — I'm empathetic, caring and, ultimately, I want to help people. As I absolutely adore cats and dogs, to me, it's a no brainer to offer my services in any way I can as I'd be doing something I love and that I'm good at. I feel not only am I doing something I love but I'm helping people, which is a big part of my values and who I am as a person. Knowing your pet (let's face it, your furry child) is in safe and happy is crucial - I believe I have the experience and what it takes to just do that.
