Hi there! I’m Claire, and animals have been a core part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a household full of rescue dogs and cats taught me early on that every pet has a distinct personality, boundary, and routine. Caring for animals isn't just a passion for me; it’s a commitment to providing safety, routine, and genuine companionship whenever you have to be away.
Here is a breakdown of the specific services I offer:

Dog Walking (30 minutes): Includes a tailored neighborhood route or park visit suited to your dog's energy level, fresh water top-ups, towel dry-offs on rainy days, and a post-walk treat (if permitted)
Drop-In Visits (30 minutes): Perfect for cats, small animals, or independent dogs. Includes feeding, bowl cleaning, litter box scooping/cage tidy, fresh water, and quality playtime or cuddle time.

Pets I Care For:I specialize in dogs of all sizes, domestic cats, and small caged pets like guinea pigs and rabbits. However, due to my current setup and training boundaries, I do not care for reptiles, arachnids, or aggressive/un-socialized animals requiring specialized medical restraint.

I've had dogs, cats and rabbits in the family throughout my entire life. My uncle was a dog breeder and a member of the crufts panel. Having many dog breeds allowed a keen interest in their different temperaments. I regularly sit for my sister's female pugs, my mum's male red fox lab, my dad's had working springer spaniel and my brothers cockapoo and have been doing so since childhood.
I was a professional sitter and dog walker in London for a cocker spaniel puppy where I helped toilet train, teething issues and exercised. I also was a walker for an anxious daschound that did not like other dogs and I tailored our walks to suit his needs mainly by avoiding other dogs and building trust. I am looking for day care (7 hrs), drop in (30 min) and walking (30/1hr) clients in my new home of Southend-On-Sea and I have just left my full-time job so I'm super flexible with timings.
I would love to make pet care my full-time job so I'd be able to give pets as much time and attention needed. I would prefer to work from pet owners homes as I do not have a garden however, I will happily supervise dogs outside for toilet breaks and I live 2 mins from the beach for daily walks. I tend to tailor my approach to the temperament of the animal and I'm confident with all breeds and ages. I will do whatever is required to make sure that your pet is safe and happy. I would love the company of a cat that likes to play/ snooze or a dog to go on daily walks with! I'm also familiar with feeding and caring for rabbits.

I have always had a love for animals, which is why I entered an industry where I would work with animals daily. I have worked in a Vet practice since 2016. I went to college for 3 years and became a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse 4 years ago. I absolutely love my job, it is so rewarding when you care for a patient and they get better and get to go home with their family.
I also own two little calico cats myself, who are called Maggie and Olive. I also adopted two rabbits from my vet practice that had been abandoned. Their names are Norman and Albe.
I have been cat sitting for about a year now. I absolutely love it. I always worry about my pets when I go away. So being able to give an owner that peace of mind, knowing they are in good hands is amazing!

Hi all my name is Janet and my hubby is Archie. I am retired but hubby works, we love dogs and have never been without pets, we only have our little zuchon Dixie now as we said goodbye to both our big boys in two years and they were 13 and fifteen.
we have always looked after our families and friends dogs when they go away so we have plenty of experience with different breeds and sizes.
we live in a house With a secure locked garden, and we live by the sea so walk our dogs every day along the beach and we have plenty of open spaces as well. We also have use of a fenced in secure dog field that we hire where we can let our dogs off lead to run and play and be safe.
my husband is the early morning walker and late evening and I am the day walker, our dogs get at least four walks a day, and I love to play catch with them, and love grooming and I am very affectionate with our dog Dixie loves hers cuddles.
we have decided to start a dog sitting service as I am now retired and have a lot of free time, I do have some limitations on what size of dogs we can have as I have a few mobility problems but walking isn't one of them, but I do find the older I am getting the less strength I have so we can't take large dogs I am afraid unless they are fully trained on a lead I can't manage them if they pull a lot. we do require your pets are up to date with vaccinations and flea treatments, and we would need to see their vet papers, and are happy for you to see our dog papers.
Apart from that we love all pets and will look after and care for your pets to a high standard, we can send daily photos if it will make you feel more relaxed being away from your pets,
we only intend to have one dog at a time, but are happy to take two from the same family.
we let our pets sleep in the living room in their own beds, and they enjoy playing games especially ball games.
Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions always happy to help.
thanks Janet

My aim is for them to have such a lovely time that they’re actually excited to see me again! Reliable, caring and genuinely passionate about animals — your pet’s happiness and wellbeing will always come first.

I’ve always loved animals and really enjoy the companionship and happiness they bring. I have a 3-year-old Cocker Spaniel who I absolutely adore, and looking after him has given me lots of experience in caring for a dog and understanding their individual needs and personalities. He keeps me active with plenty of walks and adventures, which I love! I’d be delighted to give other pets the same care, attention and affection I give my own. I’m a caring, patient and responsible person who understands how important it is to make sure your pets feel safe, happy and comfortable while you’re away.
I really enjoy spending time with animals, whether that’s going for long walks, playing, giving them lots of attention and cuddles, or simply keeping them company. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine and make sure they receive the same love, care and attention they would get at home.
I’m also happy to follow your dog’s usual routine and any specific instructions you provide, whether that involves regular toilet breaks, feeding, medication, playtime, or simply keeping them company. During visits, I’ll make sure they have plenty of attention and interaction, while also respecting their need for quiet time and rest.

Hi! I’m Martina and I am passionate about animals and caring for them.
Having worked in an office for over 20 years, I decided last year that it was time to pursue my own interests by working with animals, providing them with the same care and attention, as I do my own.
I have been brought up with animals throughout my life, including dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, ferrets and fish. In addition to this, I volunteer for Cats Protection, German Shepherd Dog Rescue and Hockley FerretRescue.
Fully insured, first aid trained and DBS checked, I can provide continuity and excellent care tailored to your pet’s individual needs, as I am available throughout the week, weekends and for overnight stays.
I can provide solo dog walking, pet minding in your home and welfare visits. I'm happy to care for senior pets; those that require medication; or pets with special needs, behaviours or disabilities.
Whatever your requirements, I would be happy to meet and make arrangements to suit you. Please let me know if you have any special requests at the time of booking and during our introductory meeting, in order that I can ensure your pets are given the best service.

Hi, I’m Yuliia, and animals have always been a big part of my life. I truly believe pets are family, and I love giving them all the care, love, and attention they deserve. I used to have a cat who was more like a son to me, and I still miss him every day. Later, I gifted my mom a cat who became the sweetest companion for her. My sister also has a cat that I adore, and one of my closest friends has a dog I often walk with. Being surrounded by animals like this has made me realize how much joy they bring me, and how naturally I connect with them.

That’s why I decided to become a pet sitter — so I can share this passion with others and help care for pets when their owners can’t be around. Whether it’s walking a dog, keeping a cat company at home, or just making sure your pet feels safe and loved, I will treat them with patience, kindness, and the same affection I give to my own family. For me, pet sitting is not just a service — it’s a chance to give back to animals who give us so much unconditional love.

Hi my name is Amy, animals are my passion and I have always wanted to work with them. I've been a trainer for a training company, i've trained dogs of all ages and worked with a wide range of breeds but specialised in large dog breeds so I'm not afraid of size or strength and I'll offer muzzle training. My walks will be exciting and engaging, I will provide some lovely photos to show the adventures we will be going on. I enjoy being outside in all weather's and will do anything to see a happy pup. Your dogs will be brought back happy, tired and clean as I will brush down and wipe any dirty paws before dropping them back off home.
I have been around animals from a baby and I’m very comfortable with different types of animals. I have grown up on a small holding with parents who wouldn’t say no to anyone who needed a home therefore any other pets you may have are not an issue to me. I have some work experience at a vets and at pets at home when I was in college for animal management.
I have worked at a kennel & cattery and then at a dog behaviour/training centre that specialised in large breeds and protection dog. In these jobs I learned a lot about dogs. In the kennels I had to learn how to introduce myself to new dogs all the time and how to read them so I could understand their needs and if it was safe to be in a small enclosed area with them.
At the training company I was involved in various sections but the main one being a dog trainer I would work with both the dog and the owner teaching the owner at the same time as training so they could go home and replicate it the best they could to continue training in their home. We had a wide range of different dogs with different issues. I’ve worked with puppies that wouldn’t walk on the lead to large dogs that wasn’t allowed off the lead around anyone but their family. With the dogs that stayed with us we would also continue their training in public when safe to do so to help desensitise them to things like bikes and cars. I would also get the dogs ready to go home or for being sold, this included helping to groom, getting all equipment and food that was need and presented the dog. I have training videos of some of my sessions with the dogs to show my training and the types of dogs I used to work with
Overall I believe I have a well rounded experience with dogs and want to gain further experience and knowledge, so I can continue to enjoy working with dogs, making your life easier and your dogs life more exciting.
