Hi! I’m Ruby a caring and reliable pet sitter with 8 years of hands-on experience looking after cats, small animals, and reptiles, so I’m confident handling a wide range of personalities and needs. I understand that every pet is unique, and I always take the time to learn their routine, preferences, and behaviours to keep them comfortable and stress-free.

For dogs, a typical walk is tailored to their energy level—whether that’s a calm stroll with lots of sniff breaks or a more active walk with playtime. I’m attentive to behaviour on walks and can handle nervous, excitable, or reactive pets with patience and care. For cats and smaller pets, I focus on creating a calm environment, interactive play, and respecting their space.I take most of my clients pets on walks along parks, rivers , fields and make sure walks are at least an hour and a half minimum. I make sure to give treats if allowed and praise pets accordingly! 
Visits to homes can last anywhere from 1 hour to 8 , it all depends on what you need and how you want your pet sitting! 

I carefully follow feeding routines, including specific diets or schedules, and I’m comfortable giving basic medications if needed. I stay alert to any changes in behaviour or health. In unexpected situations, I stay calm and act quickly—whether that means contacting you immediately, following your emergency instructions, or reaching out to a vet if necessary. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing always come first.
A daily routine for me sitting would be first gaining trust of the pet which is very important in every situation, a safe pet is a happy pet. Then I would ask the owner about feeding times, walking times , treats , emergency numbers ect. If it came to an emergency be rest assured that you would know ASAP. Your pet will always be safe under my loving care. 

I’m available for weekdays, weekends, and last-minute bookings, and I’m happy to adapt to your schedule. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel reassured while you’re away.

Hey there, my name is Kirsty! I have been working in the animal and veterinary industry for over 10 years. I have experience working with both exotic and domestic animals. I also have my recent canine/feline first aid certificate.During my visits with your fur pets, I will provide food, water and of course enrichment and play time. I can give medication if needed and make sure your pets are well cared for.I am always more than happy to send photos and videos of your loved fur kids to keep you updated while you are away, to ensure reassurance and peace of mind.Please let me know if I can help you and your fur kids I am unable to board any pets at the moment, but more than happy to travel to you and care for your pets in their own homes. More available on the weekends, but happy to organise weekly stays if needed.I look forward to meeting you all!&nbsp;

Animals have always been an important part of my life. Growing up with three Labradors and a cat taught me early on not only the joy they bring but also the responsibility, patience, and attentiveness that come with caring for them.
Today, I share my home with my cat, Max, who is a huge part of my life. Having previously travelled often for work, I know how important it is to have someone trustworthy to look after your beloved pet while you’re away. I was fortunate to have friends and family who went above and beyond for my cat, providing him with companionship as well as care — and now I’m in a position to offer the same for my clients.
I currently provide care for both cats and dogs, and I understand the different personalities and requirements each pet has. I feel truly honoured every time I’m entrusted with a pet’s wellbeing, and I take pride in ensuring they are safe, happy, and comfortable. I also know how reassuring it is for owners to receive updates, so I make a point of sharing photos and notes — because a picture of a happy pet can brighten anyone’s day.
For me, pet sitting is more than a service. It’s a chance to give animals the affection and attention they deserve, while providing peace of mind to their owners.
