I’m a veterinary assistant, before that I was at a dog kennels; providing the care for dogs and cats. I’ve got a certificate in animal management care level 2 diploma. Always loved things big and small. Tend to spend majority of my time at home with my animals making sure their needs are kept up with. I go out on daily walks with my dog three or four times a day. Very active. If not I'm at home with both dog and cat playing with them and implementing training needed. ￼
Check food and medications required with the owner ahead of time. Before taking on a dog, make sure the owner supplies you with enough food, and if they're on a special diet, get the details from the owner ahead of time or at drop-off. If the dog requires specific medication, you need to be comfortable giving this.
The daily animal caretaking routine usually involves feeding and providing drinking water for each animal, making sure that their enclosure is clean, safe, appropriately warm, and, if needed, stocked with materials to keep the animal active and engaged. I seem to have the magic touch when it comes to animals.

I wouldn't just be there to feed and let your dog out but to try and grow a relationship and bond with your pet to gain their trust and love so I can give the same back to them as if they're my own :) Happy to perform other tasks around your house like turn on/off applications, open/close curtains, water plants etc
I have normally been the one to help out Neighbours and family friends to look after their pets (including cats reptiles etc)&nbsp;

My motivation? Dogs are the best.We can't get a dog due to work commitments, but have a cat - Hamish McGregor. Hamish has been harness trained and can do paw but won't join me for long walks. Hamish is 9kgs of pure pesonality and verMy speciality is long walks (2+ hours) with happy dogs - favourite trails include Bracknell Forest, Burnham Beeches, Thames Canal Path, Virginia Water, Windsor Great Park and Box Hill. I am always open to suggestions and recommendations from owners, especially if your dog has a favourite spot or likes access for a swim. I don't do unleashed walk but you are welcome to book a secure field as I drive and will happily take dogs in the car.Happy dogs are important so a meeting in a public space and a few park walks before we hit the trails and head out for adventures is important. I will not do a house sitting without meeting the dog before hand, and seeing the home, and understanding routine etc.Why? Trust.Building a relationship allows me to get to know your dog and ensure that your dog is happy with me.I'll always do my best to be flexible, so please get in touch in case of any questions.I have a car and can drive, so can also be flexible on location.Please let me know what your dog does and doesn't like, and if they are reactive - it's best for me to know and manage, than to find out unexpectedly.*Hamish does not like dogs, so it's not an option for us to host.
