"Josephine took excellent care of our cat Rocky - she was meticulous in making sure she had all the information for him before starting (including things we hadn’t thought of!), is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced in looking after cats, and sent regular updates while we were away. And we got home to a very relaxed, happy cat! Will definitely use again - thanks Josephine! "

"Amy was brilliant. We had a slightly tricky request given that our cat doesn't have a cat flap, but Amy was happy to wait for her when she popped over to feed her. She was so considerate and thoughtful about our cat during the heatwave, making sure she had lots of water. And she kept us updated with photos too! And at the last minute she also helped us out watering our outside plants too, which was a godsend. Amy was so warm and personable, and such an excellent sitter for our cat. We would 100% definitely recommend her. Thank you, Amy!"

"We can’t recommend Sarah enough! This was our first time using a cat sitter, as we’ve only used a cattery in the past. Our cat is usually very nervous around people she doesn’t know, but she warmed to Sarah so quickly. Sarah is very conscientious and obviously loves cats. She also left everywhere incredibly clean and tidy for when we came back. She was great at communicating, and it was lovely to receive little photos or videos to see how our cat was getting on. We’d definitely book Sarah again, and hope our cat has found a new friend!"

"Claire was amazing with my boy! She's got a natural affinity with animals and my cat took to her straight away. She gave me updates throughout the day letting me know that she'd topped up his water and sent videos and pictures of him, which bought me so much joy.
I felt completely safe and happy having Claire look after Blue and having her in my home. She's a wonderful pet sitter and clearly has a big heart. 100% recommended her pet sitting services. I'll definitely be booking her again. Thanks so much Claire! "

"Tom was the best decision we made to look after our elderly cat. He went above and beyond what we expected, spending time with our cat and giving her a daily brush…and not only that he spotted and dealt with a plumbing issue whilst we were away. He communicated exceptionally well with us and we felt totally comfortable trusting him with our pet and our home.
We would 100% use Tom again and thoroughly recommend him for anyone looking for a conscientious and caring pet sitter."

"We got our kitten Marriott last July, and due to CoVid this was the first time we had needed to get a cat sitter whilst we went on holiday. We had planned on using a cattery but we left it too late and they were all booked up. We discovered Pawshake and came across Emma and we are glad we did. Emma met us before we went away and she was able to stroke Marriott which gave us comfort. Throughout our trip Emma kindly sent us photos and updates allowing us to enjoy our holiday. Emma even offered to get us some fridge supplies before we returned. We are glad we used a cat sitter as it allowed our cat to stay in its normal surroundings. We have no hesitation in recommending Emma and will use her on our next holiday.

"Krishma provided a great service. She updated us every day on the cats, taking videos when she interacted with them so we could see them. Krishma took time to sit with the cats or wait for them if she hadn't seen them when she arrived. Our cats can be nervous around new people so this was really thoughtful. I would definitely recommend Krishma and am using her again."

"This was the first time I used Pooja for cat sitter during Dec break. She was excellent. Pooja visited us and our cat and asked right question about our cat. Since my cat was a bit fussy on wet food, she guided what might be useful to try out for her.
Due to family emergency I got in touch with Pooja again in mid Jan. And she was ever so helpful. I will go back to Pooja in future for cat sitter and I can recommend her."

"Elizabeth is an extremely kind, friendly and above all reliable pet-sitter who we were very happy to engage after she came round for an initial meeting. She looked after our cat for a week and adapted to a somewhat unusual situation that cropped up, in which she went way above and beyond what might ordinarily have been expected, in terms of both time and effort. Elizabeth is very communicative, and kept us up to date with plenty of reassuring messages and pictures throughout. She’s equally fond of dogs, having a very cute one of her own, and is also very handy with a watering can. If you live in the Kingston area and need someone to look after your pet, you couldn’t do better than Elizabeth. Thoroughly recommended. "

"Firstly I have to say that this is my first experience using any cat sitting service. Unfortunately it started badly and my booking was cancelled just 4 days before I was going away! Pawshake did nothing to help.... and my stress levels were stratospheric...but Lisa SAVED THE DAY!🙏🏾
Thank goodness for Lisa is all I can say, as she made us feel much more comfortable about being away because of her calm and kind nature.
My rescue is a stray street cat with lots of quirks - I mean, he's a cat! I left Lisa a very specific do's and don'ts list due to it also being Mr T's first time without us as well - so keeping routine is v.important.
Lisa was great at communicating, very patient, accommodating, helpful and really genuinely felt she cared for my furbaby. This isn't just a 'job' to her! And she earned Mr T's trust in a short space of time.
I highly recommend Lisa - she's really personable and understanding too. I wouldn't hesitate to book Lisa again."
