Hi! I’m Ruby a caring and reliable pet sitter with 8 years of hands-on experience looking after cats, small animals, and reptiles, so I’m confident handling a wide range of personalities and needs. I understand that every pet is unique, and I always take the time to learn their routine, preferences, and behaviours to keep them comfortable and stress-free.

For dogs, a typical walk is tailored to their energy level—whether that’s a calm stroll with lots of sniff breaks or a more active walk with playtime. I’m attentive to behaviour on walks and can handle nervous, excitable, or reactive pets with patience and care. For cats and smaller pets, I focus on creating a calm environment, interactive play, and respecting their space.I take most of my clients pets on walks along parks, rivers , fields and make sure walks are at least an hour and a half minimum. I make sure to give treats if allowed and praise pets accordingly! 
Visits to homes can last anywhere from 1 hour to 8 , it all depends on what you need and how you want your pet sitting! 

I carefully follow feeding routines, including specific diets or schedules, and I’m comfortable giving basic medications if needed. I stay alert to any changes in behaviour or health. In unexpected situations, I stay calm and act quickly—whether that means contacting you immediately, following your emergency instructions, or reaching out to a vet if necessary. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing always come first.
A daily routine for me sitting would be first gaining trust of the pet which is very important in every situation, a safe pet is a happy pet. Then I would ask the owner about feeding times, walking times , treats , emergency numbers ect. If it came to an emergency be rest assured that you would know ASAP. Your pet will always be safe under my loving care. 

I’m available for weekdays, weekends, and last-minute bookings, and I’m happy to adapt to your schedule. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel reassured while you’re away.

I'm a 34 year old pet lover with a pet sitting and dog walking diploma I work part time at a local kennel and cattery, I started dog walking with the intention of making a little extra money and hopefully introducing my own dog to some doggy friends and socialising her more she was a rehomed to us and hadn't been socialised as a pup due to lockdown&nbsp;
I've had pets my entire life and have lots of experience with animals of all kinds my current pets are a beautiful 3 year old Rottweiler German shepherd Cross named Bella and a dsh tuxedo cat named Dantè&nbsp;
I offer pet sitting and dog walking unfortunately can't currently offer any inhome services as my cat has health conditions&nbsp;
I've previously owned snakes, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs and lizards and have cared for most dog breeds from rottweilers to chihuahuas&nbsp;
I can show certification in pet sitting dog walking and pet first aid so you can be safe in the knowledge that not only am I passionate I'm educated in animal welfare&nbsp;
