A typical visit includes a safe, enjoyable walk, fresh water, and positive reinforcement. In emergencies, I would immediately inform the owner or call emergency services if needed.&nbsp;
My goal is to ensure a safe, fun, and enriching experience, building trust with both pets and their owners. I would love to build a bond between your dog and have consistent, fun walks with your pet! I'm also happy to provide updates and photos during walks, so you can see your furry friend having a great time. I always prioritize the safety and well-being of the dogs in my care, ensuring they're comfortable and happy throughout our time together.&nbsp;

I will always put your dogs safety first meaning if specific instructions are given I will follow them!! Such as if near water i will keep dog on short lead to ensure there is no harm to the dog and many more situations like that.&nbsp;
If your dog struggles obeying or if a dog displays behavioural issues, I will stay calm, prioritize safety, and immediately notify the owner while following their guidance or seeking professional help
I am free all day every day this holiday, when educational hours come back in I will be busy until 3:45.&nbsp;

I am a passionate and conscientious pet-sitter, with over 30 years experience. I have been surrounded with cats and dogs since childhood and have a deep-rooted love for all animals. I also have hands-on experience as an animal rescue charity volunteer foster carer, coordinator and animal care assistant for the RSPCA.
I hold a Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Diploma (2025) and a Certificate in Accredited Dog First Aid and CPR (2025).
Having been a pet-sitting client many times for my own 2 cats, I come with experience from both sides and know how to provide an excellent service.

Hi I'm Richard. I have many years of experience with dogs and cats. I've had two dogs over the last 16 years and also a cat for 20 years. I've also had many other animals over the years from ferrets to rabbits. I've always loved animals and working with animals has always been a dream of mine. I've currently got a dog called Kira, she's a beautiful soul rescued from the streets of Romania 4 years ago. My partner has a gentleman Dachshund called Stanley, who I have spent the last two years training to walk to heal and not pull on the lead. My passion is animals and this would be a perfect hobby.
