I am recently retired from the NHS where I worked for 26 years as a mental health nurse.  I am still fit and well and want to continue to lead an active life.  I have always loved all animals and since retiring I have joined a charity called Saving Strays which works to save dogs abandoned in countries affected by war.  I work in a volunteering capacity to vet potential new owners of the dogs under the charity's care.  I am at home everyday of the week and do not have any time constraints so thought that I would make a caring and useful dog sitter/walker.  My husband is retired but goes to his workshop most days.  I have my two sons living at home with me but they are working so out of the house during the day.  We are all dog lovers.
As mentioned above I live on the river and my garden has a gate leading out onto Singlers Marsh which is a large open public area where many people walk their dogs.  If you are concerned about your dog having access to the river we have a gate that can be used on the bridge to stop the dogs from going across it, which prevents them from accessing the river.  I would add that the river is shallow about 1 foot at its deepest, so its name is rather misleading.  My dogs never go in the river.  I have a large patio area and have secure gates at either end of the patio.  The garden is large and is fully secure.
I am experienced with small and medium dogs only, as never having owned a bigger dog.  Previous to owning my two current dogs I have owned 3 pugs, although not all at once, plus a chihuahua.
I am only able to accommodate 1 dog overnight due to already having two dogs of my own.  My dogs are placid and love mixing with other dogs.  My dogs sleep in the kitchen so I would expect the boarding dog to do the same.  It's a large kitchen with access to water at all times.  However during the day my dogs and a boarding dog would be able to follow me around the house if they wish, there would be no restrictions.  In the evening I watch TV and my dogs sit with me on the sofa.  I would expect the boarding dog to do the same if they wanted to.  I walk my own dogs twice per day so would do the same for the boarding dog.&nbsp;&nbsp;
I can groom dogs and can administer oral and injectable medication due to my nursing background.  One of my own dogs suffers with seizures so has daily medication.
I can walk 2 dogs at a time and can walk for up to an hour at each walk up to twice per day.  I can do home visits to let dogs out to toilet etc and could do that twice per day too.



I was raised around cats and dogs, therefore I’ve acquired hands on experience since childhood. I particularly love cats and I enjoy getting to know each pet and finding out their own unique personality and preferences. I currently have a 2-year old British Shorthair that is very friendly and sociable. I love having other cats around so that she can play and socialise with them. I’m a lawyer working mostly from home, therefore I’m around all day and I have the flexibility to accept last minute bookings. My motivation to become a petsitter is to have the chance to get to know some more fur babies and to also give my cat Aysha the chance to socialise and play with other cats. I only accept a maximum of 2 bookings at the same time to ensure the pets are comfortable and able to adapt to the different circumstances. I have pet beds at home, however you fur babies are welcome to sleep on the couch, bed or wherever they feel comfortable! I am new to this platform and have only used it as a pet parent, therefore I don’t have any reviews yet, however as a lawyer I am registered and regulated by the SRA. With 8+ years experience I've taken care of a variety of animals from dogs to cats from rodents to reptiles and even chickens. I know each pet is unique with a unique personality so I like to work hard to give each pet the individual care and attention they need, and now with a dog of my own i know only too well just how much it really means to have your pets individual needs taken care of.&nbsp;

The comfortability and happiness of your pet is priority to me so daily walks/play time/enrichment/grooming is a must! For me feeding time is always fun time and i love to play games not only with my own dog but with other dogs too. Offering a variety of reward based games (depending on your pet) and seeing your pet learn and enjoy their world around them is what makes it worthwhile.&nbsp;
I'm currnetly working part time so depending on when and what service is required i could be available for either weekdays or weekends for as little or as long as maybe needed.&nbsp;

I am Hannah, I'm a final year student speech and language therapist and a crazy cat lady! Our house is ruled by cats and they outweigh us 3 humans at home and 5 cats- Ruby, Walter, Skyler, Jude and Reggie. 
Aside from looking after all of our little troublemakers, I have pet sat for family and friends many times.
I absolutely love meeting other people's cats, and will always take photos to send to you so you can see how your fur babies are doing!
I will typically aim to visit between the following times:
AM visit- 8:30-10:30
PM visit- 17:30-19:30
Please note that on Thursday evenings during school summer term I may be a little bit later for evening visits.
Along with feeding the cats and ensuring they have fresh water, I will spend some time with them and give them a fuss! I love playing with cats so if you have lasers and cat toys they will be well used! I am also happy to put out bins, pick up mail and put it in a pile, and water plants. Please do make sure to let me know if you would like me to do that.
Availability until May 12th:
Monday-Sunday available for morning and evening visits.
Beyond May 12th I will be unavailable until July were my availability will open back up again!

I’ve been a huge dog lover for as long as I can remember—there’s nothing better than a long walk in the fresh air with a four-legged friend. Growing up, we always had a Breton Spaniel, so when I finally moved out on my own, I knew I had to get a dog of my own. That’s how I found my best buddy, Snoop Dog (a sweet Landseer mix). We’ve been inseparable for 13 years, adventuring everywhere from Finland to Portugal and settling here in United Kindgom.
I usually stick to 30-minute walks, but I’m totally flexible if your pup needs some extra cardio! I'll come right to your door and find the best route nearby—whether that’s a stroll around the block or a trip to a local park. I’m comfortable with all personalities, from social butterflies to the solo 'lone wolves,' and can even take a small group out together. I live in the countryside with my dog, Sherlock, who is a rescue cross breed from Cyprus. Sherlock is very laid back and a very friendly and gentle dog. He gets on with all dogs and people and is happy to share his home with other dogs. I have loads of experience with dogs of my own in the past - retrievers, labs, collies and spaniels. I love having dogs around and have had dogs all my life, and often helped friends and family with boarding as well. I work from home full time every week so dogs are never left alone and my availability is generally very good. 
I am happy to provide day care or overnight boarding. I can provide whatever walking your pet needs up to 2 hours per day on or off lead, and they will sleep with my dog having the run of the house downstairs. I only accept one dog at a time so they will be well cared for. I have a 6ft high fenced in back garden and access to miles of great walking in the countryside and a very nearby secure dog field if your pet needs off lead exercise but is not good with recall. Im happy to administer meds (oral only) as required. 
I ensure owners are kept up to date with how their dog is enjoying life with us, and have a very flexible approach to make sure the whole process is as easy for you as I can make it. Your dog will have a great time and we will tailor the stay to suit your dog perfectly.

Hi! I’m Sylwia, and caring for animals has been part of my life since I was a child. I grew up in a village surrounded by all kinds of animals—cats, dogs, chickens, pigs, cows, and even turtles. We had cats and dogs both indoors and outdoors, and I raised kittens and puppies from birth, including feeding some of them with a bottle. I’ve also looked after smaller pets like mice and fish, so I’m comfortable caring for all sorts of animals.

My brother has a whippet and greyhound breeding setup, so I’ve spent a lot of time around dogs of different sizes and temperaments.

I’m comfortable with basic grooming (brushing, wiping paws, cleaning eyes) and can administer simple medications such as tablets or topical treatments following your instructions.

I double-check doors and gates, secure leads and harnesses, and pay close attention to body language so I can respond quickly if your pet feels stressed or overwhelmed. If anything unexpected happens, I follow your instructions, stay calm, contact you immediately, and get veterinary help if needed.

One of my favourite experiences was with a nervous rescue cat who hid under the bed during our first meeting. With time, patience, and gentle interaction, she eventually greeted me at the door, rolled onto her back, and followed me around for treats. Moments like that remind me why I love caring for animals they all have their own story, and earning their trust is something I truly value.

I'm Sarah and I would love to look after your pets!  I have many (many!) years of experience with dogs, cats and puppies.  I have experience with large and small breeds of dogs and all the personalities inbetween! I don't have as much experience with cats as I do with dogs but I still spread the love to all creatures!
Personally I have 2 large dogs and have delivered a litter of puppies (10 to be precise!).  I have also had cats, tortoises, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, budgies, giant snails, freshwater fish, cold water fish, geko and small snakes! The snail was from school during summer holidays which my child 'won' the opportunity to look after her/him.  I am happy to travel a few miles to look after your furry family members and have my own transport.
