"Our Newfador, Cyrille, had a lovely relaxing stay with Anu. Anu offers beautiful surroundings and spacious garden, plus ready access to nearby countryside walks.
There was only one other dog around for the bulk of his stay, Anu's own, adding to a calm, tranquil atmosphere.
If you are looking for your dog to have the equivalent of a canine 18-30 holiday with lots of other dogs and incessant play, then this is not the place!
If, however, you are looking for a peaceful environment, having your "best friend" well cared for but not overstimulated, then Anu's is perfect .
If I was being picky, it may be good for Anu to take 3 dogs more regularly (2 guest dogs plus her own), to give a better balance of calm vs play. This may be especially attractive where the dog guests are younger and need more activity.
Overall we were very happy with how it worked out and would certainly look to return in future.

"Mirella is a dedicated dog sitter and very good in handling our (large) dog. The space she provides is suitable and the garden helps. The presence of a few other dogs give an element of socialisation for our dog. Excellent !"

"Bella and James took excellent care of our Bueno over Christmas time, we could not recommend them enough. From the moment we went to visit you could tell Bueno was very comfortable in their presence, and their dog (Pluto) is already a shining example of how well they treat and get along with pets. "Words cannot describe highly enough of the service I received from Amber and Adam, a lovely young couple. Having booked with my usual dog carer well in advance for my trip in July, the dog carer informed few weeks before my departure that she is not able to look after my furries without any reasonable explanation. I was devastated!! Amber and Adam were my life savers who had the availability and they gladly accepted my request to look after my two furries. Though I live quite far away from this couple, they arranged a meet and greet and my first acquaintance with this couple was awesome!! No doubt the couple have the natural flair for looking after dogs. It was God's grace that I found the awesome couple at last for dog care. They updated me to confirm that the furries have settled down nicely. I found the couple very loving, understanding, flexible sweet tempered with lots of patience. Further during the process, they responded well to all my messages sent on Pawshake. They both are very dedicated to their job as dog carers which I strongly feel is very rare thing amongst dog carers. (Absolutely brilliant) The couple are a great asset to the Pawshake organisation!! On my return when I went pick my furries it was a surprise to see both furries had settled down so well in their house.
I would always consider Amber and Adam for dog care unless they are not available. With no hesitation I can recommend this couple to anyone.

"Maria was so lovely with our Shadow. Her and her whole family treated him as their own. We was a bit skeptical as he had only been away from us once. He didn’t settle the first day but she kept me updated regularly and managed to calm him into his new environment that he loved it so much he didn’t want to leave by the end of the week! Great communication through out with pictures on their walks. Shadow loved staying with Maria and we can see he was really well taken care of. Definitely recommend her services and would use her again to look after our pup 100%. Thank you again Maria!"

"Our dog Bucky stayed with Yelena and family over 3 days (2nights) and I would highly recommend them. We visited once before the stay and when I took him the second time he pulled me towards the door and was very happy to stay.
The whole family were involved with looking after him , made sure they knew his routines and needs and kept me up to date with photos and messages. I was able to enjoy the time away without any worries about his care.
On fetching him, we were treated to tea and cake and there was no pressure to fetch him by a certain time.
A charming family and home where your pet will be very happy!"
