Before the boarding started, Priya arranged for us to meet the other dog that was staying with her to ensure that the dogs get along well. This thoughtful step showed her dedication to creating a safe and comfortable environment for all the dogs in her care. Thereafter, Priya sent us updates and photos twice a day, and made sure she followed our instructions and routine. This was all greatly appreciated.

"I am beyond grateful to have found Jaimie through Pawshake! From the moment I picked up my furry baby, Shineyocean, I could tell he had been in the best hands. He was calm, content, and completely at ease—something I’ve rarely experienced when leaving him in doggy daycare. No erratic energy, no stress—just pure relaxation & happy which spoke volumes about the level of care and comfort Jaimie provided.
Jaimie went above and beyond, keeping me updated with photos and following my care instructions perfectly. I was able to leave Shineyocean without anxiety, knowing he was not just being looked after but truly cared for. And the biggest surprise? When I picked him up, he smelled just as fresh as when I dropped him off! His hygiene was well maintained, which was a stark contrast to my previous daycare experiences where he normally comes back smelling quite bad.
Jaimie is incredibly attentive, loving, and dedicated, and it’s clear that Shineyocean adores being with her. Finding someone who treats my pup like their own is priceless. "Our 5 month-old puppy had a fantastic two weeks at Catalina's. We met with Catalina beforehand at her house, she answered all our questions and was available afterwards in case we had any concerns. Catalina has been sending photos and videos of Olive during her stay. Catalina's dogs are so friendly, Olive got on very well with them and had the opportunity of enhancing her socialising skills. Catalina followed the set of instructions that we left with her. Catalina's family members have been lovely and caring with Olive too. She was a very happy puppy when we picked her up, we are very grateful to Catalina and her family including her dogs. We would definitely leave Olive again with Catalina again when needed. "

"Viki looked after our dog for just over a week and while I know he was not to impressed to start with, (he can be a bit of a grump at times!) Viki persevered and won him over. We have never needed to use a service like this before but we were left feeling at ease and the daily photos and updates left us feeling reassured. "Our Newfador, Cyrille, had a lovely relaxing stay with Anu. Anu offers beautiful surroundings and spacious garden, plus ready access to nearby countryside walks.
There was only one other dog around for the bulk of his stay, Anu's own, adding to a calm, tranquil atmosphere.
If you are looking for your dog to have the equivalent of a canine 18-30 holiday with lots of other dogs and incessant play, then this is not the place!
If, however, you are looking for a peaceful environment, having your "best friend" well cared for but not overstimulated, then Anu's is perfect .
If I was being picky, it may be good for Anu to take 3 dogs more regularly (2 guest dogs plus her own), to give a better balance of calm vs play. This may be especially attractive where the dog guests are younger and need more activity.
Overall we were very happy with how it worked out and would certainly look to return in future.

"Our dog Bucky stayed with Yelena and family over 3 days (2nights) and I would highly recommend them. We visited once before the stay and when I took him the second time he pulled me towards the door and was very happy to stay.
The whole family were involved with looking after him , made sure they knew his routines and needs and kept me up to date with photos and messages. I was able to enjoy the time away without any worries about his care.
On fetching him, we were treated to tea and cake and there was no pressure to fetch him by a certain time.
A charming family and home where your pet will be very happy!"
