Hello!We are a married couple who love cats. We know how stressful it can be to leave them behind when you travel, so our goal is to keep them happy, safe, and stress-free in their own environment.
Because we work as a team of two, we can offer great reliability. While we do take our own holidays now and then, once you are booked in with us, having two of us means we have a built-in backup plan. If one of us gets held up or is under the weather, the other can step in—so your cat is never left waiting for their dinner.
Our ExperienceWe are proud "paw-rents" to Pumpkin, a rescue cat we adopted four years ago. Living with a rescue has taught us a lot about patience! We’ve learned how to read subtle body language and how to approach shy or anxious cats gently. We understand that every cat is different; some want a lap to sit on, and others prefer to be admired from a distance. We respect that.
Why we focus on catsWe decided early on to be a cat-only service. We don’t walk dogs. This is actually really important for sensitive cats because it means we won’t turn up at your house smelling like a strange dog (which can be very scary for them!). We bring a calm, quiet energy to your home.
What we do when we visitWe take our responsibility seriously. When we pop in, we will:

Sort out the food, water, and litter box cleaning.
Play with them or have a cuddle (if they are in the mood!).
Send you a photo or video update after every visit so you don't have to worry.
Help with house security: we are happy to rotate lights/curtains, pick up the post, and water plants so the house looks lived-in.

Please note: For the health of all the kitties we visit, we do require that your cat is up to date on their vaccinations.

Hi, our names are Kieron and Emily and we are the owners and service facilitators of local Manchester pet service Pet Valet MCR. 
Working late or away on business? Fancy a holiday or a long weekend away? As difficult as it is leaving our furry friends alone at times, finding a temporary companion shouldn’t be! The Pet Valet is a home-based pet sitting service in the Manchester area, catered to dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and more!
What do the home visits include?
Each home visit is entirely dependent on the customers’ requirements and what help their beloved pets need most, and these needs can be met by detailing them in an online or over-the-phone enquiry. However, a typical 30 minute home visit to your pet will most likely include:
•Being fed &amp; watered
•Being let out to use the toilet
•Litter tray/cage cleaning
•Fuss, playtime &amp; attention
•Short walks &amp; fresh air (Longer walks can extended for a small fee)
•Photo updates after each visit!
Who is Pet Valet MCR operated by? And who will be making my pets’ home visits?!
Pet Valet MCR is ran by owners and service facilitators, Kieron and Emily (that’s us!). We are a couple in our late 20's and have life-long experience being around animals and our love for them is immeasurable. We have particular experience working with dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs and house rabbits—but we are more than confident/comfortable to pet-sit any additional pets of a more… ‘extraordinary’ (shall we say?) species!
We are currently adopters to two RSPCA rescue house rabbits, Fran and Cooper (who aren't exactly thrilled about us working with animals other than themselves but they'll have to deal with it!).
Price Guide:
x1 HOME VISIT: £20 for a 30 minute visit 
x2 HOME VISITS: £30 for x2 30 minute visits

I work as a nurse (DBS checked) but have recently relocated to Manchester so having a bit of a break before I start work again.I have a beautiful toy poodle called Gojira (aged 1). She is my pride and joy :). I love teaching her new tricks and spending time with her. She is confident and enjoys being around other furry companions. I prefer to walk small dogs as I have always been around small dogs. I will never walk any dogs off lead for safety reasons and I will only walk one dog at a time - your fur baby will have my undivided attention!I currently offer dog walking, house sitting and drop in visits (feeding, playing, letting them out for wees/poos etc.). I can also offer support with pups as its absolutely heartbreaking having to leave them at home by themselves :"( I'm happy to offer basic training too!I can offer to pick your dog up and drop them home if needed (additonal charge to cover the fuel).
