In January 2012 I introduced myself into the pet industry and set up a Dog Grooming and Pet Boutique business, trading name, The Doghouse.I am extremely proud to be recognized and award-winning within my industry.
Since closing my business, in addition to expanding my animal welfare knowledge by working as a veterinary receptionist, I also channelled my love of reading into a book review account on Instagram. 
I have one Bernese mountain/ Labrador called Alfie who is almost 12 years old, two naughty little cats called Lily and Lola, a corn snake called Colin and a bearded dragon called mushu.

I am a PE teacher so love the outdoors and love walking. I have 2 dogs of my own so I am very experienced with how to care for dogs and their needs. I also grew up with 4 cats in our family home so I am also experienced with looking after cats. Growing up with pets and having pets now has made me an animal lover through and through. 
I am available most weekends and during the school holidays (Christmas, Easter, summer and half terms) so if you are planning a trip away when the kids are off school, I am your girl for making sure your pets are cared for. 
I unfortunately cannot provide boarding at my house due to having my own dogs, however, I can come to your house and feed the cat, play with them and clean out the little tray or feed and walk your dogs. 
When I go for a dog walk, it's normally between 30minutes and 1 hour and I can do this once or twice a day in areas which are close to my home in Ascot for example Ascot racecourse or Swinley forest. Or I might do a long walk for around 90 minutes at Virginia water. If your dog(s) get on with other dogs I may do a group walk with my dogs but happy to do separate walks if you prefer. 
If I am cat sitting, I would be able to pop in twice a day to feed and play with your cat and clean out the litter tray. I'm happy to do any other little bits like water the plants, bring in your mail, feed the fish etc! I will treat your home with the upmost respect and leave it exactly as you left it. 
Due to being a teacher, I have a full enhanced up to date DBS certificate which I will be happy to share with you. 

It's safe to say I love animals more than people! I grew up watching animal hospital and always wanted to be a vet. I ended up working in sales in veterinary diagnostics for 10 years and loved the clients and cuddling animals while waiting for my meetings! 
I have volunteered with RSPCA and cats protection in the past. 
I have two small children and the corporate life just doesn't balance with that very well which is why I gave it up. We have our own cat called smudge, dog called Hugo and a fish tank. I'd have an entire menagerie if my husband would let me!
Now I am turning my passion especially for dogs into a job and offering dog walking services. I am DBS checked, insured as a pet business and pet first aid trained.

We have previously used Borrow My Doggy, and have had great success looking after many different dogs, all ages and sizes! 
My partner Jamie (29) and I (Alina, 31) have always been animal lovers, having anything from dogs, cats, fishes and parrots, you name it! We especially love dogs but are unable to get one permanently ourselves at the moment as we live in an apartment, so we often look after our families pets in the meantime and we love doing so!
In terms of what we can offer, we are extremely flexible, we both work somewhat remotely, so there is always someone at home. This means we can do anything from dog walking to house pet sitting! We live in a 1 bedroom apartment currently with no access to a garden, however can take your pets out as and when needed and we also have a lovely forest near by! 
We can pet sit at our home in the mornings, afternoons and evenings most days of the week, depending on our work schedules and holidays we have ourselves. We are able to do dog walks throughout the day, we have a woodland not far from where we are, where we can go out for short / long walks, however long your dog needs. 🦮

Following&nbsp;a career as a producer, presenter and reporter with the BBC for more than 30 years, I needed a fresh challenge with something else I really enjoy and care passionately about. I decided that new challenge would be to help take care of peoples' beloved dogs.&nbsp;Having had my own family spaniel, I knew I had plenty to offer other owners.Now I have several years' experience behind me looking after dogs, both in their own homes and picking them up for walks and returning them after. I have undertaken quite a few residential overnight sits, where I'm responsible for a property as well as a dog.I've discovered I really enjoy the responsibility and the satisfaction of knowing that I've given a dog a great experience, and owners peace of mind. It's a position of great trust, and I feel privileged that owners place their faith in me to look after their dog and, often, their home. It's a privilege which I take very seriously.I've since invested in my new career by becoming dog first aid trained and fully insured.&nbsp;I know there is high demand for people who can put as much love and care into dogs as their owners, and I really feel I can do that.I have a lot of flexibility during the week and at weekends, so I'm more than happy to talk about any arrangement which suits owners.
We have a four bedroomed home in Ascot in Berkshire which has plenty of space. We also have great walking spaces nearby, including Windsor Great Park with the lovely Virginia Water Lake and also Sunninghill Park.&nbsp;We can administer any oral medication your dogs need. We are happy to entertain them with games when they need occupying, but equally we know when they need to be left alone for some rest!We prefer to give your dog individual attention, so we don't generally take multiple bookings simultaneously. For walking, no more than two at a time is our preference. We want to be able to give each dog the love and attention they deserve, and we don't think that's always possible when dogs are being walked in packs of half a dozen.We&nbsp; tailor our walks to what's most comfortable for your dog. We are careful not to exercise animals in extreme heat (not a common experience in the UK we know!) so we will walk early morning and later in the evening if the day is really hot. Pads can get burned on hot pavements.We can walk for as long or short as you like. Our Monty is used to lovely walks round Virginia Water Lake in Surrey, which is 4.5 miles, but we understand if that might be too far for your dog. We happily design walks to fit the subject.We usually work on the basis of two decent walks a day, in the morning and evening. But we are very flexible and can provide what's best for your dog.We are not distracted by other work when we have your dog in our care. They are our top priority.Please note finally that I'm allergic to cats, so sadly I can't take bookings involving them.


All aspects of dog care experience over many years from puppy birth delivery to basic trainng, rehabilitation support, administering medicines and of course most importantly daily love and care.  All on a 1-2-1 basis in a safe, secure and high quality environment of my own home.  Nothing is too much trouble..
I have a compeltely dog secure, fully fenced garden in an established private road in central Ascot, ensuring safety for the dogs. Your pet would also be accompanied by my own gorgeous Shipoo - an additional play mate for their stay. I also provide a dog grooming serivice seperately.
I like to know as much information about the doggies I look after - eating/potty/sleep walk schedules as well as knowing any anxieties your dog may have.  I always suggest having a "meet and greet" before the first visit.  In a nutshell I want to make their stay as comfortable as possible so the more information the better.


We are a family who love pets!! It’s me, my daughter, my baby son and our friendly frenchie Zeus. We are in a 2 floors house with a good size, safe and fenced garden! The house is comfortable and very spacious. I'm working as self employed at the moment, so I’m away for work very occasionally in working hours, I have a baby so that's very occasionally.
I usually do one walk per day but we always play at home if they still have energy. I'm opening the dor to allow dogs to go in the garden a few times during the day. Always when the weather allows the door is open all day!
I have a frenchie buldogue called Zeus who is very friendly lazy and relaxing. He likes to say hello but too lazy to play for more than 5 minutes lol. He's Not neutered so let me know if you have a lady that can be on her heat I can leave them separately.
I know how hard it can be to be away from those we care about so I will always be sending pictures and videos from your pets. We’ll keep in very close touch, no worries!

My name is Jess and have had cats, dogs, chinchillas for pets. I've moved from Singapore to the UK back in 2020 with my old pup Black Jack in tow.We lost him recently due to old age at 18 years old and I miss our walks, him riding shotgun in the car and hanging out.&nbsp;&nbsp;
In Singapore, I was very much involved in the local rescue and re-home / trap neuter and release programs.&nbsp;
Having cared for senior dogs and cats, I'm capable of doing subcutaneous drips, medication, walks, basic grooming like baths, nails and paw pad trims.&nbsp;
I live in an Edwardian house with my family with beautiful grounds, just down the road from Virginia Waters.&nbsp;&nbsp;
