Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Bath Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Bath cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Bath cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

When I was younger, I used to be a little scared of pets, especially dogs, because I didn't understand their behavior. However, overtime I have combatted that fear and I absolutely love pets and taking care of them now.
Over time, I have learned how to read their body language, I have volunteered to help taking care of pets of family and friends, and now I absolutely love being around them. Having faced and overcome that initial fear has actually made me more patient, gentle, and understanding with animals that may be shy or anxious themselves. It taught me that trust is built with time, consistency, and kindness.
I have been taking care of pets for over 7 years now. Over the years, I have gained experience of taking care of pets of all ages, from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets who need a gentler touch. I have also handled pets with different personalities, and always adjust my approach to make them feel safe and loved.

I have always loved dogs, cats and all other animals from a very young age and have looked after many over the years alongside doing regular dog walking at the cats and dogs home. Myself, husband and two children who are 10 and 6 are proud owners of a 3 year old golden retriever Freddie who is absolutely incredible. I also grew up with cats so have lots of experience with them.
I am a self employed Nutritional Therapist and work from home so I have loads of time for drop in visits, cuddles, fun and walks with your furbaby. I will ensure they have the best time with me. I would look after your pets as if they were my own :-)
I hold an enhanced DBS certificate which you are more than welcome to see when we have a meet and greet :-)
I can't wait to meet you and your furry friends!!

I love dogs and cats. Becoming a pet sitter felt like a natural and meaningful way to combine my love for animals with helping other people feel reassured when they are away from home. I understand that pets are not “just animals”, they are family members, and they deserve to be treated with patience, kindness and genuine care. My main motivation is to provide a safe and loving environment where they can feel comfortable and happy.
I have previous experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes and temperaments, as well as cats. These experience has taught me how to adapt my care to each pet’s personality, routine and special needs. I am comfortable with feeding routines, administering basic medications, providing daily walks, playtime, and offering plenty of affection and reassurance.
Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. During walks, I use leads, avoid overcrowded or stressful areas, and choose pet-friendly routes to make sure the walk is enjoyable and safe. I also closely observe the dog’s body language and energy levels so I can adjust the pace, provide water breaks, and ensure they never feel overwhelmed. I never allow off-lead time unless it has been clearly discussed and approved in advance. During home visits and pet sitting, I follow the pet’s usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel relaxed and settled. I make sure food and water bowls are kept clean, litter trays and living areas are hygienic, and I always double-check doors, gates and windows to prevent any accidents or escapes. I also keep a careful eye on changes in behaviour, appetite or mood and will contact you immediately if anything seems unusual. You can feel confident knowing your pet will be gently supervised, cared for with patience, and treated like family while you are away.

I am Renny and I am a highly experienced pet sitter, providing exceptional care and undivided attention to your furry pals. I have 10+ years of experience on top of having grown up around both cats and dogs.
I currently live in a small flat on my own in central Bath. I don't have a garden, however I live in close proximity to a few local greens, the canal and Victoria Park.
I am happy to provide boarding, day care, drop ins and dog walking. I have grown up with a dog, and a few cats in my family and have looked after my friends' cats and dogs so would be more than happy to look after both!
I currently work from home during the week so l am able to be flexible around most days in the week and on weekends to look after your pet, take them on long walks and give them lots of love and cuddles and mental stimulation.
I make sure to fully enquire the owners about all of the pet's needs prior to meeting so I can adapt and tailor my care to make sure both the pet enjoys their time with me and the owner is left with peace of mind. I also send regular photos and updates throughout the pet's stay so that the owners can feel comfortable knowing their pet is happy and being well looked after.

Cat dad to two beautiful kitties. From playful kittens to senior cats requiring extra attention, I offer feeding, litter cleaning/changing, medication administration, and plenty of affection - if wanted!Every visit is tailored and I'll update you daily with photos and messages for total peace of mind. I've always been a cat lover and understand that every cat is different with different needs, so please speak to me about exactly what you want for your cat whilst you are away. I've used sitters before and understand that it's a lot of trust to put in someone, so appreciate what needs to be done. I look forward to hearing from you. If you have any questions at all please feel free to reach out and I will answer you as soon as possible. I've looked after cats for friends and family in the past, and it's something I genuinely love and enjoy doing.

Hi my name is Jaimie and I'm currently a MSc student in Bath! I'm looking to become a pet sitter to have something fun and relaxing to do whilst I complete my university course
I love all animals and am a dedicated animal lover and advocate (vegetarian).
All my life I've owned cats and am a feline fan (hence the extensive gallery of cat photos!) though I love all animals and have also owned dwarf and Syrian hamsters, budgies and African land snails too! I find being around and caring for animals so therapeutic, especially if they are cuddly!
I am less confident with dogs and would only be happy to walk small well behaved dogs due to my lack of experience and having never owned one before. I would be unable to bring any animal into my home.
I have a car so would be able to travel short distances.
Thank you so much for reading!

Hello! My name's Matilda, I'm a second year student at Bath Spa University. I'm from Chile, later on moved to Thailand and lived there for 7 years, and now this is my second year living in Bath!
My whole life I've loved animals, and I begged to have a dog my whole childhood. I now have 2 dogs – a 5 year old Golden retriever and a 3 year old Labrador retriever! I love them so much but unfortunately they're back home in Thailand with my parents :( I miss them every day and wish to be able to interact with and take care of dogs here in Bath!
I currently live in an apartment by myself near the city centre of Bath, although I don't have an outdoors area, the royal Victoria park is at walking distance! I have a dog ball to play with and am perfectly okay with doggies being on my couch if they like to!
I think dogs are the most precious and loving beings in this world, thus I always love to spend time with them! No matter if it's a small or big breed, playful or more calm, I'm open for anything :) I would really appreciate you considering me to take care of your furry friend!

Hi, my name is Gemma. I am 40 years old and live in Widcombe in the city of Bath. I have lived in Bath my whole life, so I know my way around the beautiful city. I have had dogs since childhood from border collies, jack russell's to sharpais, and mixed breeds. I currently have two of my own (one large bully and one small lakeland terrier). I have walked dogs for friends, family members, and neighbours for a while now and really enjoy it. I have a large family car ready to safely transport dogs on group walks and 1 hour walks to whichever location I decide to walk on the day. I can offer a one hour walk which will start when we get to the location of the walk. I walk all areas of Bath normally in big open playing fields or woodlands. Some of my favourites are the old Entry hill golf course, Southstoke, Padleigh woods, parts of the Bath skyline, and Primrose Woods. I also offer half an hour walks from your home and drop ins to your home where I'm happy to feed your dogs, refill water bowls, and let them out. I am available Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday all day and in the mornings of Thursdays and Fridays as i work in a supermarket in the afternoon. I like to keep the weekends for family time, but it's always worth asking me if i am available. If you have any questions or would like to set up a meet and greet, then please feel free to message and ask
