I was lucky to grow up with a house full of pets. I went into a teaching profession, and went back to University to do my masters. During my studies friends, family and former employers asked me to house sit and look after their animals whilst they were away. I’ve loved meeting new animals and have a few regulars. I’ve decided to offer my services to others. I have recently looked after cats, dogs, rabbits and chickens. I always like to meet the family first and learn about their pet’s routines and needs. I always provide a daily pet diary and regular communication.
My work is remote and flexible, and I'm available to do early morning walks, lunchtime and evening (as well as being available for the feeding). I live a very active lifestyle and I'm happy to do long walks. I have looked after ill pets and ensured I followed their care routine. For example, one dog in my care had just had surgery, so he could only have light walks on the lead. I have given tablets and medication in food for dogs and cats. I always follow training that they already have at home to ensure the care I provide is consistent with their home routine. 
I have stayed up to a month in house sit, and I've ensured the home was clean and kept up with watering the plants. 
All the animals in my care warm to me. I believe it’s because I’m calm and softly spoken. Some of my clients have been so surprised by how much quickly their pets have bonded with me. I’ve revisited some of my furry friends, and always treat them as if they were my own.


I am a professional dog groomer who has previously worked in alternate pet care roles, including dog sitting and walking, as well as volunteering for multiple animal rescue services and dog shelter's. I have training and certificates in canine behaviour, canine first aid and qualifications in general animal care and management in multiple animal care sectors. As well as looking after other people's pets in the past, I have also owned a range of dog breeds myself and dealt with a lot of different temperaments at home as well as in a working environment. I am open to all dogs and am more than happy to talk through any care details required and do a meet and greet before any commitments are made! I adore cats! I have had them in my family throughout my life. We recently adopted two sweet brothers -- see one of them in my profile photo. I love learning cats' personalities and earning their trust (because they make you work for it, right?).&nbsp;
As a cat parent, I know how difficult it can be to leave them and how much it helps to have someone giving them lots of love and attention in your absence.&nbsp;

I specialise in shy or nervous cats and take it as a personal challenge to make them comfortable! In addition to feeding your cats, changing their water, scooping litter, and (as needed) administering medication during my visits, I can also water plants, take bins in/out, or take on other small jobs you need doing in your absence. I'm a photography student here in Bristol and have the whole summer free to get outside walking and hopefully take a doggy with me.&nbsp;
I'm flexible, reliable and able to provide any special requests that you might have, whether it's attending to an elderly dog in your own home, bathe, give required medication, take multiple excitable dogs out together or stay over night in your home or mine.&nbsp;
In my home, your pet will receive the care they need; they are never left alone more than a couple hours, they will have multiple long walks throughout the day to ensure they sleep well at night, if your dog is elderly and just prefers a short game a ball in the park then that's totally fine, I will cater to the needs of individual pets.
I live in Bristol now with a couple of my good friends who love cuddling a dog, so your pet will get a lot of love and affection. My home has plenty of space inside and have a reasonably sized garden that has a secure fence. I am able to let your pet sleep wherever they are most comfortable and your preference, whether thats in a crate, in their own dog bed, in my bedroom, sofa, kitchen etc.&nbsp;
In my surrounding area I have many of lovely parks for your pet to run around in to ensure they get the exercise they need.&nbsp;

1. Dog walking: I offer 30-minutes or 60-minutes walks in your local neighbourhood or nearby parks. (I always keep dogs on-lead for maximum safety, I'm happy to dry them off with a towel if it's a typical British rainy day)

Hi my name Josh (19) I have just come back from travelling for 6 months and I'm looking to earn some extra money before I go to university in September. I have 2 dogs one golden retriever and one border terrier (all vaccinated). I walk them both regularly and love them to bits. I also regularly walk family friends dogs too. 
I have looked after a range of pets myself over the years: rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, chickens, you name it. I love animals and I thought looking after other peoples pets would be a great way to earn some extra money. I'm always flexible and punctual. I am a keen hiker and runner and am happy to take your dogs on long hikes or countryside routes as well as routes within Bristol and surrounding towns.
I am willing to take one-time clients and very keen to take long-term walking jobs. If you're looking for someone for regular dog-walking, especially if your dogs are high energy and require multiple hour walks, or if you're looking for someone for day-time sitting I'm your guy. I will not do off-lead walks until I am comfortable with and trust your dog.
I do not have my own vehicle currently and so I am only offering walks local to your home. I am willing to travel to reach you. My rates are set to allow me to make minimum wage: my walk services are £12.25/hr, with my minimum walk time being 1hr (pawshake takes a 25% cut).
