I am a professional dog groomer who has previously worked in alternate pet care roles, including dog sitting and walking, as well as volunteering for multiple animal rescue services and dog shelter's. I have training and certificates in canine behaviour, canine first aid and qualifications in general animal care and management in multiple animal care sectors. As well as looking after other people's pets in the past, I have also owned a range of dog breeds myself and dealt with a lot of different temperaments at home as well as in a working environment. But in all seriousness I adore animals with all my heart, I will always put my full attention on the animal I'm looking after as I've had experience in the past looking after animals such as dogs and cats away from my home such as Feeding,walking,playing and cleaning up after. I was lucky to grow up with a house full of pets. I went into a teaching profession, and went back to University to do my masters. During my studies friends, family and former employers asked me to house sit and look after their animals whilst they were away. I’ve loved meeting new animals and have a few regulars. I’ve decided to offer my services to others. I have recently looked after cats, dogs, rabbits and chickens. I always like to meet the family first and learn about their pet’s routines and needs. I always provide a daily pet diary and regular communication.
My work is remote and flexible, and I'm available to do early morning walks, lunchtime and evening (as well as being available for the feeding). I live a very active lifestyle and I'm happy to do long walks. I have looked after ill pets and ensured I followed their care routine. For example, one dog in my care had just had surgery, so he could only have light walks on the lead. I have given tablets and medication in food for dogs and cats. I always follow training that they already have at home to ensure the care I provide is consistent with their home routine. 
I have stayed up to a month in house sit, and I've ensured the home was clean and kept up with watering the plants. 
All the animals in my care warm to me. I believe it’s because I’m calm and softly spoken. Some of my clients have been so surprised by how much quickly their pets have bonded with me. I’ve revisited some of my furry friends, and always treat them as if they were my own.

1. Dog walking: I offer 30-minutes or 60-minutes walks in your local neighbourhood or nearby parks. (I always keep dogs on-lead for maximum safety, I'm happy to dry them off with a towel if it's a typical British rainy day)

Hi my name Josh (19) I have just come back from travelling for 6 months and I'm looking to earn some extra money before I go to university in September. I have 2 dogs one golden retriever and one border terrier (all vaccinated). I walk them both regularly and love them to bits. I also regularly walk family friends dogs too. 
I have looked after a range of pets myself over the years: rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, chickens, you name it. I love animals and I thought looking after other peoples pets would be a great way to earn some extra money. I'm always flexible and punctual. I'm not allergic to anything and have my own car and happy to use it as transportation for animals too. I'm based in Bristol but happy to travel 45min/1 hour to get to anywhere which needs me. I have owned terriers and lived around rescue animals since childhood and have experience sitting for whippets and greyhounds and walking small, medium, and large breeds including bullies. I am a keen hiker and runner and am happy to take your dogs on long hikes or countryside routes as well as routes within Bristol and surrounding towns.
I am willing to take one-time clients and very keen to take long-term walking jobs. If you're looking for someone for regular dog-walking, especially if your dogs are high energy and require multiple hour walks, or if you're looking for someone for day-time sitting I'm your guy. I will not do off-lead walks until I am comfortable with and trust your dog.
I do not have my own vehicle currently and so I am only offering walks local to your home. I am willing to travel to reach you. My rates are set to allow me to make minimum wage: my walk services are £12.25/hr, with my minimum walk time being 1hr (pawshake takes a 25% cut).
