Top cities for cat sitting in United Kingdom

Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Buckhurst Hill Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Buckhurst Hill cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Buckhurst Hill cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Experienced Global Pet Sitters: Safety, Fun, and Plenty of Park Time!We are a couple with a lifetime of love for animals and a unique background in pet safety. having owned both dogs and cats in the Netherlands and Australia, we’ve learned to be vigilant in every environment. Whether it was keeping our pets safe from the open canals of the Dutch waterways or protecting them from the spiders and wildlife of the Australian bush, we know exactly how to keep a watchful eye while ensuring your furry friend has a blast. Our Fridays and weekends are relatively quiet, which means your pet becomes our main focus. We love using this time to bond with guest pets, providing them with plenty of exercise and long, exploring walks in local parks. Why Choose Us?We understand that every pet is different. We combine our focus on safety with a genuine desire to give your pet an enjoyable "holiday" of their own. You can relax knowing they are in experienced hands, getting plenty of love, attention, and exercise.

Hi, I’m Laura! I’ve shared my home with cats my entire life and have two of my own, Boo and Bella. By day, I work in a local school office, but my true passion is ensuring your feline friends are happy, safe, and loved while you’re away.

I understand that leaving your pets can be stressful, which is why I pride myself on being a caring, reliable, and patient sitter who treats every cat like my own.

Why Choose Me?
• The "Cat Whisperer" Approach: My husband calls me a cat whisperer for a reason! I never force interaction. I let every cat smell me first and set their own boundaries. If they want cuddles, I’m there; if they want space, I respect it completely.

• Medical Experience: I have two years of professional experience, including caring for regular "furry clients" who require medication. I have developed various successful tactics to ensure they get their medicine without the stress.

• Quality Visits: I don't believe in "quick" drop-ins. I spend up to one hour per visit to ensure your cat is truly comfortable, fed, and happy before I leave.

• Reliable & Local: Living and working in Leyton, I am right around the corner. I have full availability on weekends and throughout all school holidays.

What’s Included?
• Daily Updates: I know how valuable peace of mind is. You’ll receive regular updates and great photos of your cats to put your mind at ease.

• Home Care: As a fellow plant lover, I am more than happy to keep your greenery watered and thriving while you're away! I'll also feed your fish if you have them.

I approach every cat with patience and respect. Whether they are a social butterfly or a shy soul, they are in safe hands with me

I will collect the keys from you before I start my visits and return them however suits you best. I can post them back through your letterbox or visit a last time to return them. Whatever makes you comfortable.

If an emergency arises I will be in direct contact with you and will do whatever is necessary to help the situation.

Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I was just a little girl, about 5 or 6, when I first started helping care for the pets in my family, and from that moment on, I knew life would always feel a little empty without them. Over the years, I’ve learned that every animal has their own unique personality and I love getting to know what makes each one special.
These days, I work full-time in the area, but my office is pet-friendly and my schedule is flexible enough that I can make plenty of time for walks, play and cuddles. If a pet needs extra attention, I’m happy to take time off work to be there for them.
At home, I live in a cozy ground-floor flat with a secure garden, perfect for a quick run-around or a sunny afternoon nap. I also have a car, which means I can take your furry friend to explore new parks, walking trails and neighborhoods for a change of scenery and a bit of adventure.
I offer boarding and daycare at my home, Monday through Sunday. I love welcoming dogs into my space where they can feel comfortable, safe and cared for. Since I work from home, your pup will have company throughout the day (though I do sometimes have online meetings).

My home is my preferred place for pet care, it helps me give consistent attention and keeps pups in a cozy, relaxed environment. I’m also available for walks and drop-in visits, usually best on weekends.

I’m comfortable with bathing dogs as well as giving eye drops, gels, pills and other basic medications, so your pup’s routine care can be kept on track.

If you’d like to chat about specific needs, just drop me a message—I’ll do my best to help and find the right arrangement for you and your furry friend!

Looking for a reliable dog sitter who will care for your furry friend like their own? Look no further! Hi, my name is Stefano, and I am a passionate dog lover. I grew up with dogs in Italy, but unfortunately, I cannot have them in my London flat due to building regulations. However, I still enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they get the attention and exercise they need.
As a dog sitter, I will take your beloved pet for walks around the parks and back streets of London. Your dog will get plenty of exercise and fresh air while exploring the city. I am available for short-term sitting services and am happy to work around your schedule.
While I cannot bring your dog to my flat due to building regulations, I promise to provide a safe and comfortable environment for your pet during their stay with me. I will make sure they have everything they need.
If you want to ensure your furry friend is in good hands while you're away, contact me today to schedule a dog-sitting appointment!

I am dependable and trustworthy and have had cats my whole life (including the shy hiders under the bed to violent bullys) and I've loved them all! I have experience in everything from being a hugger and feeder to giving medication. I have also been in a situation where one of my cats had explosive diarrhoea where I had to not only keep her separate from the other cat but I also had to clean her up and the unfortunate mess as well.I am currently at a performing arts college 5 days a week but am still happy to pop in and see your cats and give them my time while you are away from home. During term time I can offer a 15 minute morning visit for the essential feeding and morning cuddles and then in the evening a 30-45 minute visit for feeding, cuddles and playtime. I am also happy to clean litter trays as required. During the summer especially I have greater flexibility where I can offer more visits if required during the day. I am drawn to cat sitting as it is a flexible option for both me and the cat family. I love meeting new cats and am happy to meet in advance to put your mind at ease that you are leaving your precious pets in safe hands. With shy or nervous cats I would get on the floor with a treat or two and try to coax them to come to me in their own time. I am a very hardworking and responsible person and feel I can create a real connection with cats leaving you secure with the knowledge that they will be in safe hands with me. I will also send pictures and videos daily to you via the method you request. In terms of home security you can be assured that I follow instructions around alarms / locks to the letter, and have had lots of experience in this and looking after family pets while relatives are away. In case of emergency I would follow any instructions you have given but also will use my initiative to call an emergency vet for help if needed. i am also comfortable in administering any medication that your cat takes or following any set procedures for their health. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out.

My name is Sebastian, I was born in Romania and I have moved to the UK in my early 30s.
I always had a huge passion for canines and I wanted to be surrounded by dogs every single day. My first pet was a doberman pinscher called 'Doby' and he came into my life when I was a child at the age of 13. I fell in love with all these furry companions and true friends ever since.
When I was a young soldier in the army (back in my home country) I also used to train military dogs. Therefore, I could say that I have the right set of skills and experience to understand dogs behaviour, to work, play and care for them.
I have studied canine communication, pet psychology, pets first aid and I am certified in professional dog training, pet sitting and dog walking.
If you need my help, I am here to offer you my professional services and do not hesitate to contact me.

I'm available for walks and drop in visits Monday, Tuesday & Friday 10am-4pm, along with overnight house sits Friday-Sunday, I cannot currently have any pets in my home.
I can offer beginner level training along with tips to help you continue with training on your own.
During drop in visits and walks, I can provide an hour at a time, I'm fine with doing a couple of bookings in a day if needed, along with other needs. Friday-Sunday I can stay for a few hours along with any other needs such as feeding, toilet breaks, brain training activities, etc.
I also make it a point to bring in any post and put it out of reach if possible or watering plants if required.
On walks I will preferably be going to the nearest park, although I also like to let the doggos follow their nose as its good for brain stimulation, it's good to let them explore.
During house sitting on the weekend, I will be in the home most of the time usually on the sofa enjoying cuddles, other than this we will be going to walks, playing and doing brain training activities or in the garden when the weather is nice (if possible).
Whenever I go out I will probably be gone for 3 hours max, but I usually leave the light/radio/TV on for them.

I have been a mum to many different animals in the last 15 years of my life from dogs and cats to ferrets and rats and I always love meeting new pets. I also have experience with elderly, rescues and puppies. Along with other less common animals such as snakes and birds.
I have a dog CPR/first aid certificate and I have completed a beginners dog training course.
I am a full time insured dog walker and pet sitter in East London (Currently only accepting in E4 area).
It is not a problem if your dog is friendly with other dogs or not, I can provide group (up to 3 dogs per person) or solo walks. I do not have a preference on your dogs size, all furry friends are welcome to join the pack. I would prefer to meet your little companions before I walk them to make sure we all get along well, this will also help us figure out what other dogs we can pair them with (if any). We look forward to hearing from you!

I am 18 years old, i have 2 cats of my own and 2 dogs back home that i take care of (big and small), i have an roommate who has 2 hamsters and i look after them while she is gone.

I love working with animals and enjoy providing them with the care and attention they deserve. I have experience looking after dogs, cats, and small pets, making sure they are safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. I’m reliable, patient, and always follow routines so pets feel secure. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or cuddles, I treat every pet as if they were my own.

I’m reliable, responsible, and attentive, and I follow routines carefully so pets remain comfortable while their owners are away. I believe pets deserve the same care and affection they would get from their family, and I enjoy building trust with them through patience and kindness.
