Top cities for cat sitting in United Kingdom

Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Farnborough Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Farnborough cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Farnborough cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Hello! I’m a genuine cat lover (and dog enthusiast too!) originally from Hong Kong, now happily settled in Tongham. I grew up sharing my home with four wonderful cats who were very much part of the family — they taught me everything about patience, playtime, cuddles, litter routines, and giving each pet the individual attention they deserve. Although my furry crew is now happily staying with my family back in Hong Kong, that deep love and hands-on experience with cats hasn’t faded one bit.
I’m fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, so I can chat comfortably with you (and even soothe your pets in whatever language makes them happiest!). Whether your cat needs quiet companionship, feeding, play sessions, or litter changes, or your dog wants a cheerful walk and some company, I’m here to provide calm, attentive care tailored to their needs and routine.
I understand every pet has their own unique personality — some cats are shy and prefer gentle approaches with hiding spots respected, while others are playful adventurers who thrive on interactive toys and chase games. For dogs, I adapt to energetic ones with longer, engaging walks or anxious ones with calm reassurance and predictable pacing to build trust. I always observe body language closely and adjust to make them feel secure and happy.
I strictly follow your instructions for special routines: exact feeding times and portions, medication schedules, preferred play/walk routes, bedtime rituals, or any quirks like favorite toys or spots to avoid. This keeps everything familiar and stress-free for your pet.
I offer dog walking (short or longer strolls — I love exploring new parks!), house sitting, drop-in visits, and pet sitting at your place. My current home doesn’t allow pets to stay over, so I focus on visiting your home to give your animals the comfort of their own familiar environment — no stressful moves for them, just lots of love, play, and reassurance while you’re away.
I’m reliable, patient, and always send daily updates with photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well looked after. I treat every animal like my own and would love to meet you and your furry friend for a no-obligation meet & greet.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Our home is always full of love, fur, and wagging tails – and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
We offer pet sitting, dog walking, home visits, and small animal care, and we treat every pet as if they were our own. We're more than happy to answer any questions and look forward to learning more about you and your pet.
Our motivation for pet sitting comes from a genuine passion for animals and the joy they bring to our lives and we believe they deserve the best care, even when you can’t be there.

Currently looking to help out with your furry friends when you are not free to do so.

Happy to come and feed / walk / just stay for company / stay the night / let me know your needs; happy to meet in advance. Currently live in Ash Vale, Surrey. If staying the night, happy to travel a bit further out.
Have always had dogs living with me and still do as you see in my photos.
With all this hot weather of late, totally understand how hard it is take your dogs out - and sometimes they just need stimulation so happy to stay in with them and play - and just let them out in the back garden for a toilet break - and then carry on where we left off, depending on how long you would like me to stay.
Send me a message; we can chat and see how I can help you out.
I am a responsible pet sitter based in the UK. I work from home and absolutely love spending time with animals, especially dogs. Growing up with pets taught me how deeply animals feel — and how important it is to offer them both structure and love while their humans are away.

My schedule is flexible, which means your dog won’t be left alone. I’m happy to provide companionship, cuddles, walks, and anything else that helps your furry friend feel safe and relaxed in their own home.

I’m also respectful of people’s space — I treat every home with the same care as my own. I know how much trust it takes to let someone into your house and into your pet’s life, and I don’t take that lightly.

So let's see if I can give your pet that extra cuddle while you are away

Hi, I'm Christina, and I'm a huge dog lover!I grew up with a Labrador called Pebbles, who sadly passed away two years ago. She was such a special part of our family, and ever since then I've loved spending time with dogs and caring for them.
Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing with friendly company, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I tailor my care to each dog's personality, age, and energy level. Walks are usually 30–60 minutes, depending on their needs, and I'll always follow your routine for feeding, exercise, medication, and any special instructions.
Having owned and cared for my own dog for many years, I'm confident with all aspects of day-to-day care, including feeding, walking, sticking to routines, administering simple medication, and recognising when a dog needs exercise, rest, or reassurance. I'm patient with nervous or anxious dogs and understand the importance of letting them settle at their own pace. I'm also happy caring for energetic dogs who need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. If caring for more than one dog, I'll ensure each receives individual attention while keeping walks and interactions safe and well managed.
During dog sitting, your dog will receive plenty of attention, toilet breaks, exercise, playtime, fresh water, and lots of affection. Their safety is always my priority, and I'll supervise them closely while sending regular photo updates so you can relax knowing they're in good hands.
In the unlikely event of an emergency, I'll remain calm and act quickly in your dog's best interests. I'll contact you immediately and, if needed, take your dog to your preferred vet or the nearest emergency veterinary practice while following any instructions you've provided.
I always prefer to meet dogs before their first walk or stay so they can get to know me and feel comfortable. For off-lead walks, I ask that dogs have reliable recall, as their safety is my top priority.
I'm currently a student home for the summer, so I have a very flexible schedule for walks, house sitting, boarding, and daycare. I live in a clean, calm, dog-friendly home close to Ash Ranges, which is perfect for long, enriching walks. Having grown up in the area, I know plenty of great walking routes, and I'll make sure your dog has a safe, comfortable, and loving environment while in my care.
I'm also DBS checked !

Hi! I’m Ilona, a passionate animal lover with my own 13 yo doggy Zuza, the biggest cuddle bug you could ever meet! Spending time with pet brings me so much joy and I’m motivated to become a pet walker/sitter because I believe every pet deserves love, care and fun while their owners are away. There have always been dogs in my house, so I treat them like family members.
During every walk, your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I always walk dogs on secure leads unless otherwise agreed, carefully monitor their behaviour, and adjust the pace to suit their age, energy level, and needs. I make sure dogs have access to water, take breaks when needed, and avoid stressful or overcrowded areas. I use positive reinforcement, give plenty of attention and reassurance, and treat every dog as if they were my own. After each walk, I ensure your pet returns home well cared for.
I have already taken care of medium-sized dogs, but I’m also happy to walk larger dogs that are friendly and calm. I have looked after breeds such as Beagles, Yorkshire Terriers, German Shepherds, as well as mixed-breed dogs.

Hi there, myself and my entire family have always been mad about dogs! All owning a vast array including Collie/Spaniels to Great Danes to Xoloitzcuintli!
I wouldn't just be there to feed and let your dog out but to try and grow a relationship and bond with your pet to gain their trust and love so I can give the same back to them as if they're my own :) Happy to perform other tasks around your house like turn on/off applications, open/close curtains, water plants etc
I have normally been the one to help out Neighbours and family friends to look after their pets (including cats reptiles etc)
I have recently acquired some more free time and thought why not help out the community whilst also earning a bit of extra money on the side.
I'm more than happy to look after any age or breed of dog and am happy to cater to yours (and their) exact needs morning or night!
Dog walking can be done in your local area so your pet knows its surroundings or happy to go exploring new places with new scents :)
Look forward to hearing from you

About me
Animals have always been a big part of my life — I’ve spent over 20 years caring for pets of all kinds. I believe every pet deserves love, patience, and genuine attention, especially when their owners can’t be there.

My services
I offer dog walking, home visits, pet feeding, and playtime/companionship. I can visit your home once or twice a day to feed, walk, or spend time with your pets. I do not provide overnight or full boarding services.

My home
I live in a house with a secure fenced garden, in a quiet and pet-friendly neighbourhood. Pets who visit will have safe outdoor space to play and relax. I have my own friendly dog at home and always supervise pets carefully to make sure everyone is happy and comfortable.

If it’s your first time booking, I’m happy to arrange a short meet and greet before your pet’s first visit. All pets should be fully vaccinated for safety.
