Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Hadleigh Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Hadleigh cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Hadleigh cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Hi, I'm Raquel!
I’m a Portuguese animal lover living in Canvey Island with a genuine passion for caring for pets. I have grew up with animals in my grandmas house, and I think animals are the purest thing on Earth, little angels looking after us in their innocent ways. As the owner of a friendly Maine Coon kitten and having previously owned both dogs and cats, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your beloved companion.
Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having company while you’re away, I’ll always provide patient, reliable and loving care. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, relaxed and happy while in my care.
I speak English, Portuguese and Spanish fluently
Services Dog walkingHome visits for dogs and catsFeeding and fresh waterPlaytime and companionshipCat litter tray cleaningDoggy day carePet sitting in my home (Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays)
My home has a fully secure, fenced garden where dogs can safely enjoy supervised outdoor time. I provide a calm, clean and comfortable environment and only accept bookings that allow me to give each pet the attention and care they deserve.
AvailabilityMonday to Friday: 5:00–7:00 AM and from 5:00 PM onwards.Weekends and Bank Holidays: Available throughout the day.
If you’d like to know more or discuss your pet’s routine and individual needs, please send me a message through Pawshake. I look forward to meeting you and providing the best possible care for your furry family member.

You could probably open a zoo with the amount of animals I've had to look after / own / care for! My childhood has always been surrounded by furry friends and even when younger my parents used to dog sit! I've got a little experience of playing and looking after ferrets and cats but my biggest knowledge is dogs of all ages and sizes. I'm available throughout the day at different times but happy to adjust to your animal's needs if there's a specific time required. If your animal is a nervous one, we can arrange a meet up so that it's not a stranger on their first meet in their home. Home visits can be adjusted, I set the times for 30 mins or an hour but if more / less is needed just let me know. Walks can also be adjusted depending on the fitness level, age and demand of your pet. I also love taking photos so the chances are you'll have a pet photoshoot included! By day to day I'm cabin crew due to my restricted flying hours I get a lot of time off and with plans to hopefully buy my own home next year with my partner, I'm looking to earn some extra money to help us get there a little bit quicker! It's vital for an animal to get their daily walks and exercise and sometimes life gets in the way of being able to get them the full attention they deserve. If you have any questions, doubts or worries, drop me a message and I'm always happy to send updated pictures and messages to reassure you that your furry child is in great hands!

About me
Hi! I’m Clari, a 21-year-old teaching assistant with a huge love for dogs.
My Nan has had six lovely rescue lurchers over the years, and my auntie’s Bedlington Terrier, Baby, is a dog I regularly look after and adore. My boyfriend has a gorgeous Labrador called Jess, who we love taking on long walks together. I’ve also dog-sat for family and friends, including Milo, a playful French Bulldog.
Dog Walking
I offer walks tailored to suit your dog’s needs and routine. Short or longer walks available depending on your preference and your dog’s energy levels.
Home Visits
For home visits, I usually stay around 30–60 minutes to make sure your dog gets plenty of attention, cuddles, and company while you’re away. This includes feeding, playtime, toilet breaks, and general care, ensuring they are happy and comfortable.
I am also happy to do any other household tasks such as bringing in parcels, watering plants etc.
Small Animal Care
I also offer care for small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and other pets. I’ve had many guinea pigs and hamsters over the years, and I’ve even raised a litter of hamsters, so I’m confident handling and caring for them.
This can include feeding, cleaning out cages/hutches, refreshing water, and spending a bit of time giving them attention and care while you’re away.
Availability
Weekdays: Evenings after 5pmWeekends: Full availability
Just message me to check times or arrange a regular walking schedule.
Starting from July 20th I have full availability on weekdays as it will be school holidays.

Why Choose Me?️
I’m responsible, trustworthy, and I treat every dog as if they were my own.
I know leaving your pet with somebody else can feel a little nerve-wracking, so I’m always happy to send regular photos and updates so you can see what they’re up to and know they’re happy and settled. I will make sure your pets feels safe, loved, and well cared for.

Hi I'm Maisie! I'm a registered veterinary nurse, in a large small animal hospital 🫶🏼
I love being outdoors in nature and of course with animals so thought I could combine the two. I also have experience with walking a variety of dog breeds from large dogs to small, from non-dog friendly to playful and energetic. With my love for nature I live near many gorgeous parks which your pooches can explore with me. With cats and small furries I enjoy different ways of enrichment and playing games to entertain them during my visits, I have experience with clearing out beds and litter trays with a large range of species also. My knowledge doesn't only expand to cats and dogs, I have experience with small animals and exotics so I can cater for all needs.
I have experience giving, oral, topical, and injectable medication, so gives you peace of mind that a qualified professional is administering it.
If you wanted additional services such as nail clips, anal gland expression, and ear cleaning, I can also provide these at an additional cost so always ask!
I am an animal lover to my core and I have two pets of my own, a cocker spaniel called Daphne and a cat called Casper.
I would love to spend time with your loved ones, take them for walks, or just give them the love and attention they are so used to and with my experience are in safe hands ️
Look forward to hearing from you, Maisie

Hi! I’m Adam and I have been around cats all of my life! I currently live in Westcliff on Sea with my wife and 8 year old Persian, Luna, who we rescued in 2020, and our Ragdoll Minnie. Luna and Minnie have completely changed our lives, and they truly are the love of our lives! Before adopting them; I have always been around cats, having adopted 2 cats at just age 2. Having always been surrounded by cats, has really given me a passion for their care and enjoyment.
As your cat sitter, I would treat your beloved cat as if it were my own! I have experience with daily grooming, and administering basic medication! Occasional treats and cuddles are essential, ensuring your cat is completely relaxed and happy upon your return! I’m also happy to collect post, water any plants and feed any fish on my visits too! My stress-free service comes backed with reviews on other platforms, avaliable upon request.
I am a car owner and driver and can offer a wide choice of visiting times to suit your needs.
Please reach out if there’s anything else you’d like to ask!

Hello, my name is Isadora

I am a lover of all animals, in particular cats, and I have great pleasure in meeting them all to take care of, hug and make noise.

I am the owner of two cats and a French bulldog dog and I know about the care of this breed.

I am confident with all breeds of dogs and other small animals and I will be happy to hear to discuss the care and attention that your animals need and deserve.

I have a course every Tuesday and Friday in the afternoon. For the rest of the week I would be available all day for visits and dog walks.

My visits will last at least 45 minutes, where I will be happy to feed your pets, bother them, play with them, clean them, if necessary, and send the paw rentals many photo and video updates.

I'm new to taking care of pets, but having found our wonderful animal babysitter at Pawshake, I'm aware of what makes a good babysitter and I'd like to offer my services to others in the area.
