Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Halling Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Halling cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Halling cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Hi! I’m a friendly, responsible and reliable animal lover who genuinely enjoys spending time with dogs and making sure they feel happy, safe and well cared for.
I have house-sat on multiple occasions and am very comfortable looking after pets in their own home. I’m happy to provide house sitting and overnight care, giving your pet plenty of company, attention and affection while respecting their usual routine and your home.
I also offer dog walking, with the length and pace of each walk tailored to your dog’s individual needs. I love getting out for a good walk, so I’m happy with longer, more energetic walks as well as shorter, relaxed ones. For safety, I keep dogs on the lead while they’re in my care unless specifically agreed otherwise with the owner. I’m comfortable walking dogs who have reasonable lead manners and will always follow any instructions you provide.
I work full-time in an office, generally from 9:00am–5:30pm, so this should be considered for pets that need company throughout the working day. However, I have the flexibility to work from home two days per week, and where possible I can arrange these days around a booking.
Above all, I understand how much trust is involved in leaving your pet with someone else. I’ll treat them with care and patience, keep their safety my priority, and make sure you can feel confident that they’re in good hands.

Hi! I’m Lili-Ela, a FINAL YEAR VET STUDENT at the University of Surrey, currently WORKING IN A VETS part time as receptionist and animal care assistant.
I’ve always loved animals and have gained lots of HANDS ON EXPERIENCE caring for dogs, cats and small furries through my veterinary studies, as well as WORKED IN KENNELS AND CATTERIES, rescue centres and veterinary practices. I also have my own 15-year-old Cavalier, Tinkerbell, who I absolutely adore!
I’m looking to do some DOG WALKING AND PET SITTING alongside my placement. I’m hoping to save a little towards travelling after graduation, but most importantly, I genuinely love spending time with animals and would love the opportunity to care for yours!
Whether your pet needs a long walk, some playtime, medication, feeding or simply lots of cuddles and company, I’ll always make sure they feel safe, happy and comfortable while you’re away.
Look forward to meeting you and your pets🫶

With a lifelong love for animals and a background rooted in care and responsibility, I offer dedicated pet sitting services tailored to your furry family members. Having shared my home with dogs and cats since childhood, I am deeply attuned to their needs and temperaments.
I recently transitioned from a twelve-year career as a primary school teacher, a role that honed my patience, reliability, and ability to handle complex routines with ease. This experience, combined with my husband’s professional background in doggy day care, ensures that your pets are in safe, knowledgeable hands.
I currently share my life with a beautiful Siberian cat and look forward to the day we welcome a dog of our own. I am available for one or two home visits a day, where I focus on providing a calm and stable presence.
I am happy to follow feeding routines and let animals outside and then ensure they are safely let back inside overnight.
I will walk dogs a minimum of 30 minutes, longer if wanted by the owners. I pride myself on being incredibly caring and affectionate, yet I remain sensitive to each pet's unique boundaries.
My approach is always gentle and low-stress, ensuring that even the most anxious animals feel secure and respected while you are away. Whether it is a quiet cuddle or a playful interaction, I am committed to treating your pets with the same devotion I give my own.

Hi, I'm Lucy! I have always loved animals and would love to help local owners with walks and home visits. I have a dog of my own (a rescue whippet called Pippa) and I have experience with big dogs (I grew up with greyhounds!) cats and small animals too. I am available most afternoons and weekends for anyone in or around the Medway area. Any breed or size is fine! I will give your pet lots of love and fun, and can do meals and feeding too. I am good with all different temperaments, whether they are shy, excitable or even naughty!
If you have a busy life and need someone to pop round while you're at work or out for the day I am happy to do that. I have helped friends and family with regular dog walking in the past and always loved the experience. I can do 30-60 minute walks and will work on any training exercises you require too.
I have also used this app previously to hire dog walkers and dog sitters and had a great experience so thought I would try it from the other side as I have plenty of free time to help other owners. I know how important your pet is to you, and I will always make sure they have the best time with me. Just drop me a message for any requests!

A little about me.
I am a fun outgoing bubbly person who loves to fuss and cuddle all kids of animals. I have experience with fish as well as dogs and always happy to look after other animals with the right guidance. I drive so distance isn't really an issue. I work as a Mobile Nail Technician and love my job and flexibility it brings. Looking after your babies will be a pleasure and I always ensure I send photos and videos of your baby while your away so you can rest assured they are happy and content.

I look forward to meeting you and your babies

As a lifelong animal lover and dedicated vegan, caring for pets isn’t just something I do—it’s a natural extension of who I am. Growing up with cats and now sharing my home with a lovable dog, I understand the unique personalities and needs of both feline and canine companions. I’ve consistently provided reliable, loving care as a pet sitter while working full-time as I can work from home, allowing me to give animals the attention they deserve throughout the day. Whether it’s cuddle time, playtime, or just making sure they feel safe and happy, I take real pride in creating a calm, caring environment for every pet I look after in their own home. I have also had experience with smaller animals such as rats, gerbils, geckos and small snakes.
I’ve been lucky to receive wonderful feedback from pet parents who appreciate my attentiveness, gentle nature, and consistent updates while they’re away. Many have commented on how quickly their pets warm up to me and how relaxed and content they seem upon returning home. Knowing that I can give both pets and their people peace of mind is the most rewarding part of what I do.

I’ve always been a huge animal lover and have plenty of hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of pets, including dogs, cats, fish and exotic animals. I understand that every pet has its own personality, routine and individual needs, and I’m comfortable following specific care instructions. For a home visit, I can feed your pets, refresh their water, clean litter trays or enclosures, check fish tanks and equipment, provide playtime and attention, and generally make sure everything is as it should be. I’m also happy to send you updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are happy and well cared for.For dog walks, I’ll tailor the walk to your dog's usual routine, energy level and needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.I also have experience caring for fish, reptiles and other exotic pets, including animals requiring more specialist routines involving feeding, heating, lighting, enclosure checks and general maintenance. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect I would my own. Whether you have a dog, cat, aquarium or something a little more unusual, I’m happy to help.

Hi, i'm Phil, and I run Goldies Dog Walking,
I have owned or been around dogs most of my life and love their company, caring for them and of course, their loyalty.
I am fully insured and DBS-checked for your peace of mind, so if you require someone to walk, pet-sit your best friend (cats inc), or just pop in please feel free to get in touch.
I am very flexible and always try to accommodate clients' needs. I cover all of the Medway towns 7 days a week, including eves. For an added bonus, my daughter works for a private veterinary practice, so advice is always available and may be a money saver before a trip to your vet.
I will always insist on a meet & greet so that everyone feels comfortable and at ease with one another. I always follow the instructions of the clients; after all, you know your best friend better than I do, so if you require someone trustworthy, reliable, and an animal lover to take care of your best friend
Please feel free to get in touch.
Regards, Phil.

I have many years experience having had cats dogs and rabbits my whole life. I volunteered as a dog walker for the cinnamon trust, and also home checked for various national charities. I currently own cats, rabbits and hens. As a pet owner I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets when you go away, and hope to ease that stress.
i work during the week as a nanny, which means I have a full enhanced DBS check. This also means I am used to looking after other people's pets on a regular basis. I walk the dog at work daily and also house sit for them. I have a few regular families now that I dog walk for and really enjoy it.
I am available weekends and Fridays , or after 7pm on other days . I can offer dog walking or home visits during these days for dogs, cats, and various small animals in there own home. No stress of catteries or kennels.

I am available to walk your pooches Fridays and weekends when you are busy, or I can provide home visits and keep your pets company when you need to go out. I am able to provide home visits for cats, cleaning litter trays, feeding and offering company.

Due to my rabbit experience I am confident caring for rabbits including all aspects of cleaning.

Hi, we’re Emily and Kayleigh, the faces behind Adventure Paws!
