I am 52&nbsp;years of age I have had dogs for the last 25 years ranging from Great Dane , Mastiff to Bull Dogs I have house sat for Labradors, golden doodle, shutouts, jack Russell, border collie, German shepherd/border collie cross, a mongrel,a bull dog and French bull dog, daschund, Gordon Setter, cavapoo, cocker poo and a Rottweiler a variety of cats one being completely blind. I work in HR and work remotely so as long as I have an internet connection I can work anywhere 
I will love your pets like they were my own and shower them with loads of love and affection I love to go on long walks and have big furry cuddles this has become like my therapy where I go and look after peoples pets and love them and give them their home comforts. As long as my work allows I will walk dogs and if they have set routines where they meet up with furry friends I will try my hardest to ensure their routine is not affected.
I love to travel and I'm using this experience to see the uk and make new fur baby friends 
I do not drive but travel to my sits on the train or tube if in London and walk all dogs in the local area meeting up with doggy friends to try to give the dogs I'm looking after their usual daily routine
I work from home on a permanent basis so other than maybe going out on my own to get some shopping or necessities I will be at home with your pets and ensure they have as good an experience without their owners as is possible 

I had dog in my house since the day I was born. We had 3 dogs so far until the last one died and we decided not to get another one as we were so attached and disheartened after his loss. I have cared for my friends and family’s dog since then. Not just when they were away but even on weekends as I enjoy spending time with them. They genuinely make me happy. My recent experience of pet sitting was for my friend’s dog in Didcote, Oxford where she had plans to leave for Italy to deliver a workshop where on a very short notice she asked me to pet sit her 2 rescued dogs which I had never met before but we had wonderful 2 weeks together by playing in the garden or watching cartoon which they really loved! :)
Dogs do make me happy and I love having them around me. 
I coexist with the dog and alter my schedules accordingly on the day I dog sit. I pet them like a friend and play with them to keep them engaged. I 

I am a responsible, caring, and patient person with a genuine love for animals, which is the main reason I want to work as a pet sitter. For me, pets are not just animals, but family members who deserve attention, safety, and emotional comfort when their owners are away. My motivation comes from wanting to provide pets with a calm, loving, and stress-free environment, where their routines, needs, and personalities are respected.
I have previous experience caring for pets, especially cats. I am a cat owner myself and currently have a Burmese cat, which has taught me a lot about daily care, hygiene, feeding schedules, playtime, and understanding animal behavior. Through this experience, I have learned to notice small changes in mood or health and to respond calmly and responsibly. I am also comfortable with feeding, cleaning litter trays, administering basic care, and spending quality time playing and bonding with pets.
