Top cities for cat sitting in United Kingdom

Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Kent Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Kent cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Kent cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

As we just had a baby recently, unfortunately I can only take on local/easy to get to bookings currently.I am a 36 year old woman from Denmark, living in Maidstone with my husband, toddler, baby and two (for now) cats.I love pets and I also volunteer at Cats Protection and I walk my friends' dogs from time to time. I dream of a big place where we would be able to shelter and rehome cats and other animals. In terms of pet sitting, it is best and most convenient for me to do go once a day and in the evenings. With work, I am quite busy, but I use this platform as kind of a way to get a bunch of bonus pets (since my husband is allergic), and with the commission cut, this is mostly for my personal pet enjoyment.I will make sure to keep you updated on all things your pets are doing while you are away, and I will love them as if they were my own.I usually stay a little longer, when I go to look after your pets, sit down with a hot drink and a book or the TV if you allow, and make sure they get the love and attention that they are expecting, even when you are away.

Hi! I'm Gee, I'm 25 and I've been petsitting & dog walking since 2021 (which is somehow 4 years!) - I'm looking for some extra work for when my regular clients don't need me during their holidays/days off etc - I'm mainly looking for evening walks and visits and cat and small pet check ins, but I'll happily also do dog walks anywhere else I can fit them into my day! - I love cats as well as dogs and don't get to spend enough time with them! I'm not able to take pets into my home as I have a dog myself (Milo) so I only offer sitting in the owners home, walks and check ins. I can be available on weekends as well as weekdays! I'm happy to work with any animal and have experience with reactive dogs so don't be afraid to ask! Whether it's morning and evening feeding, play, letting them out for the toilet, popping in on hot days to break up their day or playing some mentally enriching games in the garden, I'll always help wherever I can!
