Top cities for cat sitting in United Kingdom

Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Knaphill Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Knaphill cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Knaphill cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Hi! I’m a reliable and caring pet sitter based in Woking, offering dog walking and drop-in visits in your home I mainly look after dogs and really enjoy spending time with them, getting to know their routines and personalities. Whether your dog loves a long, energetic walk or prefers a slower wander with lots of sniffing, I’m happy to go at their pace and make sure they feel comfortable.I’ve looked after dogs with different temperaments, including more excitable dogs who need a bit of patience to settle, as well as calmer or slightly shy ones who take a bit of time to warm up. I always take a relaxed and gentle approach so they feel at ease.I’m careful to follow your instructions closely — whether that’s feeding routines, walk preferences, or anything specific your pet needs. I know how important it is to keep things consistent while you’re away.I offer: • Dog walking (short or longer walks depending on your dog)• Home visits for feeding, playtime and company• Puppy check-ins and toilet breaks• Updates and photos so you know how things are goingI only provide care in your home, so your pet can stay in a familiar environment and stick to their normal routine. I’ll always treat your home with respect and keep everything tidy.I’m patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoy being around animals. Happy to help whether your pet needs company, a good walk, or just someone to check in on them.Feel free to get in touch — I’d love to meet you and your pet

I’m the person who believes every dog deserves slow strolls, soft words, and a whole lot of love. I specialise in calm walks that make pups feel safe, happy, and right at home. Whether it’s a gentle wander or a comforting companion while you’re away, I’m here to make their day feel warm and worry‑free.
I grew up around dogs owning two boxer dogs and loved them so much and since then have always loved being around animals. I also owned hamsters and love being around my friends pets which include cats, rats and reptiles and find myself comfortable and happy looking after any animal.
I'm happy taking your pets for walks, popping in if you need some company for them or if you need someone to go feed them. Happy to tailor whatever the requirements are for why you're on here looking for help :)
I can't bring pets to my place sadly due to renting however I can drive and so can to different locations not being restricted in distance. I will only restrict myself on distance due to travel costs. I work Monday to Fridays 9-5 so my availability will be weekday evenings and weekends.
I can take photos and videos for pet owners to keep them updated with cute photos to let them know updates and how they are!
For walks, I will make sure they get good quality walks, ensuring I stick to their usual times and routines for safety not to overdo it! I will also make sure treats that are safe and healthy are available and make sure with you that your pets are okay to have them :)
I'm happy to look after multiple pets at a time, and I can walk multiple dogs :) I will also check beforehand their temperaments to make sure the walks are suitable!

Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember—I’ve owned cats since I was four years old, and currently share my home (and heart) with my beloved rescue cat, Honey, who I adopted when she was just one. I’m a huge animal lover through and through, and nothing makes me happier than spending time with pets—whether that’s giving them cuddles, chatting to them like they’re listening, or just making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their humans are away. I truly understand how important it is to know your furry family members are in caring hands, and I treat every pet I look after like one of my own. With years of hands-on experience with pets, a gentle approach, and an instinctive love for animals, I’d be honoured to care for your pets and give them all the attention and affection they deserve.
I currently work Monday to Friday office hours. I can do 1 to 2 check ins and feeding / pet cuddles daily, or can house sit if preferred.

I am currently on maternity leave after having a beautiful baby girl. As I'm off work for a fair few months, I'm available for home visits.
I love cats and own 2 myself, Leo and Marco, 2 tabby brothers. I'm a kind and caring person and will make sure I take great care of your pets!
I grew up with cats and I find it easy to bond with new cats I meet. We used to own a rescue cat so I also have experience with looking after nervous pets.
If you have any particular routine you want me to follow or if you need me to use a catmate, I'm familiar with how these work.
I live in Pyrford, close to West Byfleet but I have a car so willing to travel to you.
I'm available any time of the day, morning, afternoon or evening. I can stay up to 30 mins at a time and can also bring in post when coming to do the visit.
If you have any questions about my experience or want to ask me any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
