Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Leicester Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Leicester cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Leicester cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

"Hello! I am a professional dog trainer and canine behaviorist with over 16 years of dedicated experience in dog care, training, and pack management. In Brazil, I spent years working closely with dogs of all breeds and sizes, including a long period managing a large doggy daycare facility.Dogs are my absolute passion and life’s work. My deep background in canine behavior allows me to easily read their body language, reduce their anxiety, and provide a calm, safe, and highly structured environment tailored to each dog's unique personality. I specialize in helping dogs that need extra care, such as those with high energy, separation anxiety, or mild leash reactivity.I am offering professional dog walking, home visits, and house sitting services. Every service I provide includes full attention, mental stimulation, and positive reinforcement. I am very comfortable handling large, powerful breeds as well as small, sensitive dogs. My main goal is to keep your furry friend happy, safe, and balanced while you are away.I strictly follow your house rules and routine to ensure consistency for your pet. I look forward to meeting you and your dog for a complimentary Meet & Greet!"

Hello, my name is Ian and along with Jane we are looking forward to the opportunity to host your dog. We both have a lifetime experience of either owning dogs, pet sitting or boarding dogs that are in training.
We currently have a 5 year old Labrador, called Poppy, who is very accommodating to having other dogs round and is equally happy to either chill, play or go on walks with other dogs. We look after my daughter's dog on occasion and Poppy is very tolerant of her younger 'sisters' playfulness.
Previously we have boarded dogs that were in training to be guide dogs and who couldn't manage the boarding kennels. This had meant that we are used to dogs with different needs that need accommodating including the taking of medication.
We have a fully enclosed 80ft long garden with a smaller patio area that is also gated. Most walks tend to be in local parks but we have an estate car to take the dogs further afield.
Please contact us if you have any questions.

With over 4 years pet care experience and 6 years experience caring for my own pets (I have been walking dogs since I was fourteen), I offer expert dog walking and drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and small mammals. Skilled in handling various breeds; including rescue dogs with special needs, I also provide in-home care for selected pets on a case by case basis. I have references and letters of recommendation available, and I offer discounts for clients within my postcode or within a one-mile radius and can negotiate prices.
Pet care is an integral part of my daily routine, as I prioritise the well being of all the animals I care for. I dedicate time each day dog walks, ensuring that all my furry clients receive regular exercise and companionship. I also have a spacious garden where dogs can play and explore on a lead in safety. Currently studying part-time, I have plenty of time to commit to each pet’s needs, scheduling in drop-in visits around my other commitments ensuring consist attention, especially when their owners are away. My passion and love for animals drives me to be flexible and responsive, making pet care not just a job, but a fulfilling part of my every day life.
A typical day with me is all about creating a “home-away-from-home” experience for your beloved furry friends. For dog walking; I tailor each walk to your pet’s needs, whether that’s a brisk walk for energetic young puppies or a leisurely stroll for older dogs. We explore local parks, giving your beloved dogs plenty of time to explore, enjoy the fresh air, and play.
For pets staying with me, I offer supervised playtime in my spacious garden, with games like fetch and tug-of-war or just some relaxing time in the sun.
For drop-in visits, I make sure your pets have everything they need while you are away, including feeding, companionship, playtime, and gentle attention to help them feel calm and comfortable. My focus is to make sure your pet’s day is fun, engaging, and comforting; so that they feel right at home in my care.
For added peace of mind, I hold an enhanced DBS Check, ensuring that I’m a trusted and reliable choice for drop-in visits and in-home care.

I’m a caring, trustworthy and patient pet sitter with experience caring for puppies, senior dogs and post-operative dogs who need extra attention and gentle support. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine and needs, so I always take the time to help them feel safe, comfortable and relaxed while in my care.
I provide a calm, clean and loving home environment where dogs receive plenty of attention, affection, exercise and supervision throughout the day. Dogs are never left alone for long periods maximum 2-3hrs only when necessary and I make sure they have regular toilet breaks, playtime, walks and rest based on their individual routine and energy levels.
I’m confident caring for energetic puppies who need patience and structure, as well as senior or recovering dogs who may require a slower pace, medication support, or extra comfort. I carefully follow all owner instructions to maintain routines and ensure pets feel settled and secure.
Safety is always my top priority. Although I do not have a fully fenced yard, all outdoor time and walks are closely supervised, and dogs are always kept safely on leash when outside. I also carefully manage introductions and interactions if caring for multiple dogs at once to ensure every pet feels comfortable and safe. It is really rare that I will look after multiple dogs at once as I do prefer to look after one dog so I can provide him a safe place and comfort, unless it's from the same household.
I know how important communication is when you’re away from your pet, so I provide regular updates, photos, and messages to give owners peace of mind throughout the stay. In the event of any emergency or concern, I would contact the owner immediately and seek veterinary care if needed. I am currently undertaking a first aid course for dogs.
For safety reasons, I only accept vaccinated pets into my home. I treat every dog as if they were my own and always aim to give them the love, care and attention they deserve.

Hey! I'm Nayesh, 27 years young from Leicester. I'm not gonna make a song and dance and bore you but the main thing is that I love animals of all sizes ️ from cuddles to zoomies or even just keeping them company. As a Cat dad of two beautiful young domestic short hair male cats, Jasper and Ruben, I'd say my 'speciality' is around cats! However I do love did just as much!️ My prices are pretty much baseline what the app recommends or if not a few pounds cheaper than the recommended, If you have any issues with costs I'd be more than happy to sort something else out At the end of the day I'm hear to provide a service for your loved pets. So feel free to ask any questions, point out any issues and give any feedback so I can give the best that I can. Thank you!

I am a Sustainability specialist who loves animals looking for a career change. An obvious animal lover who has always grown up with animals and rescues! Loves nature, being outdoors, and hanging out with fluffy creatures. Grew up with dogs and cats, mid- large sizes and have always had family with multiple types of pets. Have done pet sitting for dogs, cats, birds and reptiles since a young teenager, worked as a dog walker and sitter in Australia, volunteered at animal sanctuaries, and have fostered a few dogs until they could be adopted.
I regularly pet sit/walk families' and neighbours' dogs/cats, and am looking for a slight change in direction, and one of the things I would like to do is look after animals when people need support. I have been on house sitting again now for over a year and absolutely love it. Since my breadth of experience is likely to offer this more.
I am keen to support local people who need a dog or cat walker/sitter someone to pop round and feed the cat or an alternative to kennels when you go on holidays.

Experienced dog sitter including home boarding and dog walking. I have two dogs myself which need regular walking! I have experience in dog care, I have looked after at least 8 dogs including walking and home boarding. My dogs are very friendly and accepting of all types of dogs. I am happy to walk, home board and also home visit! This is something I am very passionate about and would like to make it full time. I love all animals and offer so much love and attention that your dogs will know me as a friend and enjoy my company as I also enjoy theirs. I have my own transportation. I have extensive references that are all positive. Let me be the one to care for your pets as if there my own.

Hi!
My name is Scarlett and i've always loved animals. I have a Cat of my own called Cody, we share a special bond since we homed him 12 years ago. I've always had a connection to animals as I am a very spiritual individual. I feel animals relax around me and we can form a deeper bond. I have also looked after and sifted for friends and family in the past.
with my relaxing nature& kindred spirit, my goal would to ensure your animal feels safe and comfortable around my energy. I love the nature and being outside, so if you have a dog full of energy, expect him to be sleepy once you get him back!
I am happy to look after your animal in your home and my home. Please bear in mind, I can only do day times for my home!
I am available to do doggy day care (at your home) dog walking, home visits and house sitting. It's the same with cats of course.
I have never mediated anybody else's pet, but I am happy to. I can only board one dog at a time, but cats I am happy with up to 3.
My dog walks are up to 3 hours, as I love to walk! My availability is Monday- Friday day times from my house, but evenings other homes if needed!
I work from home, but I would not work at the same time as looking after your pet (of course, they need all the attention!)
please keep in mind I have one pet in my home, a cat, so if your dog doesn't get along with them i'm happy to come to you!
my family are out in the day times, so it would only be me at my home. my gates are safe and secured and fully fenced, so no escape is possible!
if you have any further questions please do ask!
- Scarlett :)
