Hello! My name is Emma and I'm originally from and currently living in Cambridge and working In a boarding school for international students. I am crazy about animals, and I have grown up with many different cats, dogs, hamsters and guinea pigs.I have experience caring for cats, not just my own, but for friends and family members who have trusted me to look after their pets when on holiday. I have also worked in a petshop and as a dog walker.I've always been especially passionate about cats and at the moment I have a beautiful tortoiseshell cat who is 15 years old and I adore. I think that each animal has its own unique personality and it is important to adapt your care according to their specific needs. As a calm person I also find this helps animals in my company to feel safe.On pet visits I can offer feeds, changing of water bowls, cleaning litter trays, plenty of cuddles (if the animal is comfortable of course) and play. I know how much pets mean to their families, and I want to make sure they feel loved and cared for even when you are not home.I have previously cared for pets of friends and family (cats, dogs and a hamster) and I am confident in handling different needs and personalities. I offer one 30-minute home visit a day, to stop by your place to feed and play with your pet. I am available after 5:00 pm on weekdays and during the whole day on weekends. As a longtime cat (shorthair) and dog owner (daschund and golden retriever), and coming from a family full of pets including those with medical needs, I would love to help with looking after your furry friend! I'm comfortable with different dog, cat, and small animal breeds and temperaments and happy to talk about any special needs your pet might have, such as administering medications. I'm happy to also do up to 2 care visits per day if needed.

Dog Walking:
My dog walks typically last between 30-45 minutes, depending on your dog’s needs. I prefer taking dogs to nearby quiet parks or calm neighbourhood areas.
In-Home Pet Care:
I love playing with pets, and will be happy to spend some time entertaining your dog, cat, or small animal in your home. I will also ensure they are fed the appropriate amounts and can also faciliate separate feedings if there is more than one cat/dog in the home. I'm comfortable with administering medications, taking in mail, and plant care for an additional fee.
