Top cities for cat sitting in United Kingdom

Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Milton Keynes Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Milton Keynes cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Milton Keynes cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Hi! I’m Kelvin, a caring and reliable cat sitter based in Milton Keynes. I’ve been looking after cats for over 20 years, and I currently have my own cats too — so I genuinely understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy who will treat your cat like family. What I do during each visitEvery cat is different, so I always follow your instructions closely. A typical visit includes:Feeding and refreshing waterCleaning and checking the litter trayQuick wellbeing check (appetite, energy level, toilet habits)Playtime, brushing, or calm companionship depending on your cat’s preferenceHome safety check (doors/windows) and keeping everything tidyPhoto/video updates so you know your cat is safe and happyShy, nervous or anxious catsI’m very patient with shy or anxious cats. Some cats may hide when a new person arrives — that’s completely normal. I’ll give them space, move quietly, and never force interaction. I usually sit calmly, speak softly, and let the cat approach in their own time. Even if they don’t come out, I’ll still make sure food, water and litter are properly taken care of.Special careI’m happy to support basic routines such as:Feeding schedules and portion controlCleaning food bowls properlySimple medication support (e.g. tablets mixed with food), if your cat allows it and you provide clear instructionsI always aim to keep your cat relaxed and comfortable while maintaining their usual routine. I treat every visit seriously and will always send updates so you can travel with peace of mind.If you’re looking for a friendly, experienced cat sitter in Milton Keynes, I’d love to help!

Friendly and caring animal lover! My name is Amy - MK Animal Care. I'm 32 years old and have use of my own vehicle to transport your fur babies safely around Milton Keynes. I have experience working with strays in Asia, dogs and cats of all sizes, behaviours and natures. I have since loved taking care of dogs and cats in my local area and making sure they are safe, happy and getting the best out of life. It's a great idea to arrange an initial meet and greet to ensure we are a good match and so I have all the care information needed. I always like to update you with pictures and videos of your pets while you are away so you know they are in safe hands. I have a large number of reviews and recommendations for MK Animal Care so if you would like to see or speak to another owner for reassurance that can be arranged. Fully insured with DBS check
I am available for 30 minute to 1 hour drop ins or walks, sitting for a few hours up to full 12 hour days. Also available for overnights during the week and weekend for short breaks or holidays. If sitting in your house I understand this is your private place and would always be very respectful and go by any house rules you have.

Growing up around animals of all shapes and sizes—from horses to cats—has given me a deep-rooted love and understanding of their needs. This lifelong experience has shaped my approach to pet sitting: compassionate, responsible, and attentive. I treat every animal as if they were my own, offering not just care, but companionship and comfort. Whether it's playtime, feeding, medication, or simply keeping them company, I ensure each pet feels safe and loved while their owner is away.
My strong customer service background means I communicate clearly, listen carefully to instructions, and tailor my care to meet each pet’s unique routine and personality. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. With me, your pets will be in loving, capable hands—giving you peace of mind while you're away. Reliable, caring, and passionate—this is more than a job; it’s my calling.

I'm a fur mumma of 5 dogs (my babies) and totally pet obsessed!
I know 1st hand how difficult it is to find loving, reliable pet sitters who you can trust completely whilst you are away. If, like me, you seek the reassurance that your pet(s) are having the best time in your absence, which in turn allows you to fully relax whilst you are away from them.
Based on my own experience and what I would expect for my own pets, I offer a loving, friendly, reliable pet sitting and dog walking service in the comfort of your pet’s own home, tailored to your pet’s needs. Whether it’s cuddle time, playtime, or walkies, I will treat your furry family like my own as I know how much they mean to you.
I care for all creatures great and small — from bouncy pups and chilled-out cats to rabbits, hamsters, and beyond.

Hello I'm Shannon, a dedicated, full-time in-home pet sitter with a passion for creating comfort and trust for every animal i care for.
For over a year now, I’ve been lucky enough to build wonderful relationships with my clients and their pets. many of whom have become regulars (some even trust me with their keys year-round!).
Animals have always been at the heart of my life. I share my home with my two beloved cats, Narla and Billy, who inspired me to offer the same level of love and consistency to others’ pets.
In April 2025, I spent a month volunteering at a cat shelter in Portugal, caring for over 250 cats — an unforgettable experience that deepened my love for animal care. I’ve also volunteered teaching English to Polish locals, and I’m always looking for ways to connect with people and animals through kindness, travel, and growth.
I specialise in staying in your pet’s own home, offering 24-hour companionship and consistency. This allows your pets to remain in familiar surroundings, follow their usual routines, and avoid the stress of kennels or catteries.
They receive constant care and comfort — day and night — so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing they’re safe, loved, and completely at ease while you’re away

I’ve been a self-proclaimed "crazy cat lady" for as long as I can remember, and my passion for cats has only grown over the past six years. From playful kittens to sleepy seniors, my heart flutters whenever I see them. My experience includes caring for a cat with bronchitis for four years, which involved giving medication, nightly nebulizing treatments, and ensuring comfort. Grooming, such as brushing fur and cleaning ears, is part of our daily routine as i pwned a Persian cat with long coat. I take pride in maintaining a tidy and calm environment for them. Beyond tasks, I’ve developed a deep understanding of cats’ moods and needs, whether they’re in the mood for play, food, or a cozy nap. Each cat’s unique personality fascinates me, and I love getting to know them. I’d be delighted to be your go-to cat-sitter, offering love, care, and plenty of snuggles to your feline friend(s) while you’re away!
