I live in a one bedroom flat with no garden or easy escape points in a non smoking household and can provide hourly walks if needed and other care needed so you can be ensured that your pet will be well cared for.I have more experience with dogs than cats but I love each equally. I had a dog called Harry who was a wire haired fox terrier who passed away in 2009. My most recent pet of choice were 2 female guinea pigs who I had to give up to a sanctuary when I moved to Cardiff. 
I Would be happy to travel for sitting (with in reason). I'm currently resided in Cardiff as my main mode of transportation is a bike Im only limited to the Cardiff area. 
If your pet would prefer to just have cuddles on the sofa or a long run around/walk in the park both id be happy to accommodate. with the many parks nearby the choices are endless for our fury friend. I have been passionate about dogs my entire life, growing up in a household that always had springer spaniels alongside rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters. After getting married, my husband and I were delighted to welcome my own Irish Setter into our family, who brought us years of joy and companionship. Though he is sadly no longer with us, my love for dogs remains as strong as ever.
As a military wife, we've lived in various locations including overseas postings, and throughout our moves I've consistently enjoyed caring for friends' dogs - walking them regularly and having them stay with us when their owners were away. My whole family shares this passion - my mother, sister and brother all have dogs, and we regularly help each other with pet care when needed.
Currently living without our own dog, and recently moved to the area, I'm eager to have dogs back in my daily life, especially as my son loves them. I work from home running my online business, which means I'm available throughout the day, though I need flexibility around the school run.
I live in a house with a good-sized, secure garden right next to Bute Park, perfect for dog walks. I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own, prioritizing their safety and happiness. I'm reliable and responsible, serving the local area within a 10-minute drive.


I am able to take care of your cats or other small pets when you are away from home. 
I love the nature and its inhabitants. Apart from keeping cats since I am at 9 (more than forty years ago!), I have kept a large variety of living things - from parrots, a great variety of fresh water fish and marine creatures, to insects. Currently in Cardiff I am keeping 2 cats and a dozen of chickens. They are all very humanly creatures that possess their own personalities. I can spend a whole day just watching how they interact with each others. 
Sometimes we can really learn something from even a young mother cat. My fluffy female tabby has just done everything so appropriately and with sharp confidence in rearing her first litter of 5 offsprings. From delivering them deliberately on our own bed (!), guarding them while we are feeding them, to bravely protecting them from stray cats. They are all her first times but I cannot see any flaws in my eyes. Simply an amazing experience in keeping her.

I've worked for Bupa as a care assistant in their Cardiff care home &amp; have been DBS checked.
Now retired, and concentrating on my cat sitting.&nbsp;
I'm a mad cat lady &amp; have lived with 1 to 5 cats for the last 40 years. I have been adopted by 2 cats from Cats Protection, Rosie Buttocks &amp; Shellie Bellie (who are still unsure whether they're friends with each other).
I've also taken care of mice, gerbils, rabbits, goldfish (indoors &amp; out), tropical fish &amp; budgies for the kids &amp; frogs, toads, slow worms, shrews &amp; sparrows for our mogs.
I have administered many tablets to amenable &amp; objectionable kitties by bribing with sweets... Ah..that's the grandkids... cat treats or their favourite food.
Feisty, timid and all in between, I've toys, kitty story books and a soft lap to suit all their needs for a great holiday staycation.
All their needs were catered to, and some they didn't even know they wanted.

Hi, I'm Grace. I'm 18 years old and have lived alongside animals my entire life. I'm used to caring for lots of different animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, snakes, turtles, lizards and more! I love being around animals and i'm currently working towards a future career in zoology! I have tons of experience looking after all sorts of pets and i'm well aware of how to handle animals with disabilities and special needs. I currently have 5 dogs ranging from big to small (german shepherd, labrador, working cocker spaniel, jack russel mix, and a sausage dog/chihuahua !!) As a child i grew up with a snake and a german shepherd, living with such an intelligent breed of dog for most of my life gave me a huge range of knowledge and experience of how to properly mentally and physically engage with these animals to keep them happy and their minds active, along with having experience dealing with difficult situations and how to handle them safely and accordingly. I'm familiar with reactive dogs and have participated in many professional training classes, due to my german shepherd getting attacked as a puppy and developing a fear to dogs and any unexpected moving objects such as cyclists (i regularly walk a labrador/border collie with a fear of motorcycles). I adore long walks and i can walk dogs multiple times a day if necessary. I give all animals my personal attention and i love spending time with them, i'd also love to teach your animal new tricks. i'm happy to house sit.
