I provide services of dog walking in Colchester. I can help you free your schedule and also give your furry Friend the fresh it deserves and needs.
I have been a dog lover since I was young. Since I came to the UK I have not been able to  see my dog which I left with my parents. For me to become a dog walker will be a win-win situation: I will be able to spend time with dogs and have fresh air for myself while at the same time helping free the schedule of the dog owners.  I'm also a uni student so I just want to get a little bit of extra money in the side without putting at risk my time for studying.
As my experience, I have been a dog owner myself of a American cocker spaniel who's already 6 years old. I took walks with him three times per day in my neighbourhoo. I walked with him until he was tired or he wanted to go back home. I can provide this same services for your dog


Hi,My name is Silvia and I am a passionate animal lover. With a 6+ year experience in rescues (Dogs Trust) and daycare settings, I offer walking, sitting and training services in Brighton, Hove, Shoreham-by-Sea and Portslade. From dog walking (solo walks, 1 hour long, country walks included), drop in visits up to 2 hours at any time of the day including evenings, daytime sitting (timing is flexible) and overnight staying at your house. I am available most days of the week, days and times of services will need discussing according to your needs and my availability. During my stay with your pet I will make sure they receive the best care, cuddles and entertainment with games and training when applicable.&nbsp;I am first aid trained and I am qualifying as a canine behaviour specialist so I can offer advice on training and management of dogs with special needs. I can also administer medications (tablets, injections etc) and I have basic grooming skills too (bath, nail cutting, removing nots and mats).&nbsp;I have extended knowledge of the behaviour and needs of nervous and reactive dogs in particular, animal welfare and various training methods. But I can look after all sorts of pets including cats and rabbits and I absolutely love my job! The first meet with you and your pet is free of charge and the first walk for rescue dogs is also free!I am also a proud dog mum of a wonderful Romanian rescue and I understand how valuable it is to find the right person to look after your animal. I have great experience of petsitting in Brighton and Hove - it's the best job in the world! I love going for walks, but going without a dog feels a bit strange.

I adore canine company, and understand that dogs respond to calm, confidence and positivity. Your fur baby is safe with me: I’ll talk to them, play with them and always be clued-in to their needs and behaviour.
I often do pet sits via Pawshake, and word of mouth. I have volunteered in dog shelters, where many had behavioural problems and needed special care.&nbsp;
I've just come back from volunteering at a dog shelter in Portugal, where I helped to look after around 90 dogs. I have also been a volunteer at a dog hotel, where I helped to look after (and spoil!) around 30 guests. I also have good experience of walking reactive dogs.

As well as overnight sits at your home I can offer walking, drop in visits or sitting.

I set up my business pet sitting business nine years ago having escaped the Corporate rat race to follow my heart and after a breast cancer diagnosis made me re-evaluate my life and what is important to me.&nbsp;
I wanted to be a vet when I was young but sadly didn't pursue my dream at the time. So this is my way of being able to work with animals. I have had animals for almost all of my life, particularly cats, so am very experienced with caring for them.
&nbsp;I have worked with rescue dogs and cats through voluntary work and through my business. I took an unpaid sabbatical from my previous job to volunteer for a cat and dog rescue shelter in Greece, who I have supported for many years whilst on holiday there.&nbsp;
My 5 cats are all rescues from Greece. Your pet will be in very safe hands.
