Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Waltham Abbey Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Waltham Abbey cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Waltham Abbey cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Hello! I am available between Mon-Thu to walk or look after your pets. I have some experience with dog walking already, as I started on a separate platform in May. I have also always been surrounded by family and friends pets so I do have basic knowledge of taking care of pets as I was often given the opportunity to walk them. Since I was little I have always wanted a pet of my own, but unfortunately I don't and can't have any pets as my mum is cautious of animals, so that is why I want to be a pet sitter :)I would prefer if the pets I am to be looking after were vaccinated, however I do understand if they aren't due to issues with expenses or pet health. I also love all types of animals and breeds so I would thoroughly enjoy looking after any type of pet!The minimum amount of time I do dog walking is 30 minutes to ensure their happiness and health. When looking after the pets, I like to send at least one photo to their owner to let them know that I am there and their pet is doing well. In emergencies, I would immediately contact the owner, and if they are not available and the pet is injured or unwell in any way then I would take them to their vet.

My name is Joanne and I am based in Waltham Cross.
I love dogs!
I have a lot of experience with dogs of all breeds, When I was younger I had my own dog, a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel named Charlie. She was with from a puppy until she was 15, I absolutely adored her. I now, often dog sit for friends when they are away and every week, I take my sister’s dog (a Jack Russell) for a walk to the local park. Therefore, I know what is like to look after animals of all ages.
I love caring, playing, comforting and off course cuddles with dogs. I know how important it is for them to get their exercise on their daily walks. Seeing their excitement about going on their dog walks always makes me smile.
All dogs have their own characters and needs, and I think its important I understand what these are so I can fully care for your dog. We can organise a video call or meet to discuss your dog’s needs prior to the service to discuss any special needs your pet has e.g. are they ok interacting with other animals or children, their likes, dislikes etc.
I am reliable, flexible, caring, considerate, sensible, and very well organised.
I am available weekdays (between 09:00 and 17:00). I can provide dog walks and I will try to keep the walks to your local area.
I know your dog is a member of your family so I will take the utmost care to ensure they are safe and well cared for. And it’s important you feel comfortable leaving your pet in my care, so any questions or queries you have please let me know,
I look forward to hearing from you!

Hello, I am a semi retired lady who has been pet sitting since 2013. I work mostly in East London and West Essex as I live in Chingford (E4). I have a full DBS as I previously worked in Education. I have attended animal first aid courses and am able to give medication and injection. I have cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, Guinea pigs, fish and snakes.
I drive a small car, but also use public transport.
I will make sure your property is secure, your treasued pet is well cared for and loved.
Apart from feeding, I change litter, groom if required, pick up post, water plants and if you require shopping or a small basic clean up that too can be arranged.
I have always had animals in my life, currently sharing mine with a 2 year old Sprocker Spaniel and a Bengal cat.
I have regular clients in Chingford, Highams Park, Loughton and Walthamstow.
I have availability for July.
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you feel I can assist in your pets care.

I have had the experience of taking care of Dogs, when I grew up with my Grandmother in Africa, even though I was born in the UK.
Ideally, I would see dogs that are microchipped for safety reasons. For me, the welfare of your pet comes first before anything else and this is imperative.
I will do park walks and physical activities. I love playing fetch games and making sure your dog always gets the best treatment everyday as I care most about the mood of your dog, more than anything else. From a personal point of I like having pets as company as I find it very therapeutic and entertaining to a certain extent. My main services are overnight boarding (,for all pets), dog walking and home visits.I get immense joy from various activities with pets and I enjoy every single second and minute I spend with them. I treat every pet as if they are my own. I look forward to meeting you and your adorable companions.I am usually very responsive upon request.
