Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Woking Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Woking cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Woking cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Hi! I’m Gemma, a reliable and caring animal lover based near West Byfleet. As a lifelong cat owner, I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, happy and well cared for while you’re away.
I offer home visits for cats and other small pets, including feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning, medication (where appropriate and with clear instructions), playtime, cuddles, and plenty of company. Every pet is different, so I’m happy to tailor each visit to their personality and routine—whether they love lots of attention or simply prefer a calm, reassuring presence.
I know it can be difficult leaving your pets, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages after every visit, giving you peace of mind that they’re happy and being looked after.
I’m trustworthy, organised and treat every home with the same respect I would my own. Whether you’re away for a weekend, a business trip or a longer holiday, you can relax knowing your pets are in caring hands.
I’d love to meet you and your pets before your booking to make sure we’re a great fit!

I'm an animal lover with 4 cats and 2 rabbits of my own whom I absolutely adore, and I also keep a colony of honey bees in my garden!! I'm a dedicated and reliable pet sitter with experience caring for a wide variety of animals... from dogs and chinchillas to chickens and even sheep! Growing up surrounded by pets (we had cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, ducks, and tortoises) has given me a lifelong love for animal care and a strong understanding of their needs.
I’ve also volunteered in both a cat shelter and a wildlife rescue, so am confident caring for a (very!) wide range of animals and always aim to provide calm, attentive, and compassionate care.
I’m available in the Guildford area for early morning and evening drop-ins or walks Monday to Wednesday, with greater flexibility from Thursday to Sunday.
During each visit, I prioritise your pet’s wellbeing, offering enrichmnent, affection, and careful monitoring to ensure they are happy, healthy, and safe while you’re away. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your pet is in capable and caring hands!
If you’d like to find out more, please feel free to get in touch. I’m happy to answer any questions or discuss any specific needs, including administering medication or following detailed care routines.

I’ve always loved dogs, and caring for them is something I genuinely enjoy. I’m the kind of person who will happily stop to say hello to every dog I pass, so being able to spend more time around them is a real joy!
I’m lucky enough to have a family Cocker Spaniel who is 2.5 years old, and I absolutely adore him. He is a huge part of our family and I honestly love him more than anything in the world, so I completely understand how important it is to know that your dog is in safe, caring and trustworthy hands. I would treat every dog I look after with exactly the same care and attention I would want for him.
I’m patient, responsible and attentive, and I’ll take the time to understand your dog’s individual personality, routine and needs. Whether they’re full of energy and need a good walk and lots of play, or they’re happier having some company and cuddles, I’m happy to adapt to them.
I’m particularly comfortable with friendly, sociable dogs and would love to spend time walking, playing with and caring for your pet. I’ll always follow your instructions carefully, including feeding routines, medication where appropriate and any particular quirks or preferences your dog has.
Most importantly, I want your dog to feel happy, comfortable and loved while they’re with me, and for you to have complete peace of mind while you’re away. ️

I have experience in looking after cats, feeding and attending to cat litter trays etc. I love playing and accompanying cats and grooming them to show them off to their full potential!
My motivation is pure love for cats of all varieties I've looked after many cats in friend's homes and in mine too.
I’ve always had a deep love for animals, especially cats. Their unique personalities, playful nature, and comforting presence have always brought joy to my life. I understand the importance of providing a safe and loving environment for cats while their owners are away. As a cat sitter, my goal is to ensure that each cat feels comfortable, loved, and well cared for. I take pride in building a trusting relationship with both the cats and their owners, and I strive to make their time apart as stress-free as possible.
Looking after cats is real pleasure to me.

Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember—I’ve owned cats since I was four years old, and currently share my home (and heart) with my beloved rescue cat, Honey, who I adopted when she was just one. I’m a huge animal lover through and through, and nothing makes me happier than spending time with pets—whether that’s giving them cuddles, chatting to them like they’re listening, or just making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their humans are away. I truly understand how important it is to know your furry family members are in caring hands, and I treat every pet I look after like one of my own. With years of hands-on experience with pets, a gentle approach, and an instinctive love for animals, I’d be honoured to care for your pets and give them all the attention and affection they deserve.
I currently work Monday to Friday office hours. I can do 1 to 2 check ins and feeding / pet cuddles daily, or can house sit if preferred.

My name is Lucy, I am a city and guild qualified Dog Groomer. I have been for over ten years now. I currently own my own dog grooming business, which has now been open for almost 8 years! I have always worked with dogs, they are my love and my passion. I also did animal care level 2 & 3 at college. Which I then went on to do my dog grooming course, all at Merrist Wood. I have 2 dogs of my own, a Labrador and a German shepherd. I'd be more than happy to help if you need pet visits throughout the day, or even 1-1 dog walks. With over 10 years experience in the animal industry, I have allot to offer. I can give you piece of mind knowing your pet will be cared for whilst you are not there. Each pet I look after, I treat as if they are my own. After being a dog groomer for 10 years I have plenty of experience with nervous/anxious/agressive dogs. So please don't hesitate to get in contact with me to discuss your animal needs.

I am currently on maternity leave after having a beautiful baby girl. As I'm off work for a fair few months, I'm available for home visits.
I love cats and own 2 myself, Leo and Marco, 2 tabby brothers. I'm a kind and caring person and will make sure I take great care of your pets!
I grew up with cats and I find it easy to bond with new cats I meet. We used to own a rescue cat so I also have experience with looking after nervous pets.
If you have any particular routine you want me to follow or if you need me to use a catmate, I'm familiar with how these work.
I live in Pyrford, close to West Byfleet but I have a car so willing to travel to you.
I'm available any time of the day, morning, afternoon or evening. I can stay up to 30 mins at a time and can also bring in post when coming to do the visit.
If you have any questions about my experience or want to ask me any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
