Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember🩷. Growing up in India, my family raised a Labrador, two German Shepherds, and a Beagle — one after the other. So I've spent the better part of my life feeding, walking, playing with, and simply being around dogs in every stage of their life.Moving to the UK after getting married has been a wonderful new chapter, but I'll be honest, one of the things I miss most is having a dog by my side. I'm not in a position to commit to owning one just yet, so dog sitting feels like the perfect way to do what I love while being a genuine comfort and companion for your dog when you're away.I may not have formal pet sitting experience here in the UK yet, but I'm a natural with dogs and anyone who knows me will tell you that whenever I visit a friend's home with a pet, the dog ends up getting most of my attention! I have a genuine passion for dogs and providing them with the care, attention, and compassion they deserve. As a physiotherapist, I bring a strong understanding of wellbeing, patience, and attentive care into everything I do, qualities that naturally extend to looking after animals.

I am also planning to further my studies in animal physiotherapy, which reflects my long term commitment to working closely with and supporting animals.

I regularly look after dogs for friends and family, so I am confident handling different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I enjoy keeping active and offer 3 or more walks per day, with each walk typically lasting between 30 minutes and 1.5 hours, tailored to each dog’s age, breed, and energy level. Alongside this, I provide playtime, mental stimulation, and plenty of attention throughout the day.

As I work from home, I am able to provide a consistent and structured routine. A typical day includes regular toilet breaks, multiple walks, feeding at agreed times, rest periods, play and enrichment activities, and lots of companionship, so dogs are never left alone for long periods.

I take care to understand each dog’s behaviour and adjust my approach accordingly. Whether a dog is energetic, nervous, or prefers a calmer environment, I ensure they feel secure and supported. I am comfortable managing different behaviours, including high energy dogs, shy or anxious dogs, and those who require a more gentle and patient approach.

When introducing new dogs, I do so gradually and calmly to make sure they feel safe and comfortable in my home. I create a relaxed environment where they can settle at their own pace and build confidence.

Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are my top priorities. I maintain a clean and secure environment, keep a close eye on dogs at all times, and follow any specific care instructions carefully, including feeding routines, medication if required, and exercise needs. I also provide regular updates to owners for peace of mind.

I always aim to create a safe, calm, and loving home from home experience where dogs feel relaxed, happy, and well cared for.




After years of looking after my own cats, and cat sitting friends' and families' cats when they go on holiday, I've decided to finally set myself up as a cat sitter and start doing the thing I love the most full-time!I'm DBS checked, and am currently working with the Animal Care College to achieve a Level 2 Certificate in Feline First Aid.&nbsp;I believe every cat has their own distinct personality and I love getting to know each and every one.&nbsp;During my visits I like to take the time to let the cats get to know me, to have a good sniff and find out where I've come from. I take it nice and slow with shy cats - my Jinx is very shy, even after 10 years the smallest thing can make him run and hide, so I know to be slow and calm at all times with him. I love spending time playing with them too - I never just feed them and run.I've had pets all my life, from the family dog when I was little, to hamsters, gerbils, fish, hermit crabs, guinea pigs, rabbits, and of course, cats. I got my first cat, a gorgeous long-haired rescue called Benny, when I was 18, and I haven't been without a cat since - in fact I usually have two. My cats are both indoor cats as we live near busy roads, but we are big outdoor animal fans too, and have feeders for birds and squirrels that we regularly replenish in our garden. We're getting a big selection of birds visit us at the moment, including&nbsp;greenfinch, bluetits, doves, blackbirds, and woodpeckers.We're currently redesigning our garden to have a big wildflower area to encourage bees and other insects. Let me introduce myself and tell you a little about me. Iam called Michelle (ironically!) and have lived in Manchester/Tyldesley for 15 years. I have always had pets - cockatiels, rabbits, cats and dogs (and even tried to bring a few mice back to life and set free when they have been bought in by my 2 menaces!).I now have 2 cats and a dog and decided to start this business a few years ago as I didn't want to upset my cats by having to put them in their baskets and take them to a cattery so looked for a similar business, then thought I love cats (and all animals) so much that I could do this myself and here I am about 2/3 years later and love it!I have looked after over 50 families cat/s over 3 years, one family having 7 cats! I have the odd rabbit and fish too! From just going to feed them, empty litter trays, even open and close curtains/blinds along with watering flowers and putting the bins out! Making it look like someone is at home and you are relaxed on your holiday!
