Hi, I’m Garry, a reliable and friendly dog walker and pet carer. I love spending time outdoors and giving dogs a safe, happy, and enjoyable walk. I tailor each walk to your dog’s needs, whether they enjoy a leisurely stroll, a more energetic adventure, or some gentle play along the way.

I have hands-on experience with my own 7-year-old Cockapoo, which has taught me patience, understanding, and how to read a dog’s moods. I’m comfortable working with a wide range of breeds and temperaments, including shy, nervous dogs, energetic or high-energy breeds, and smaller dogs that need careful handling. I also have experience with dogs who are reactive on walks and can provide gentle guidance and reassurance to keep them calm and safe.

I walk dogs in local parks, trails, and safe neighbourhood routes, and can tailor walks to your dog’s fitness and preferences. In addition to walking, I can provide home visits, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and basic grooming attention. I’m also trained to handle minor emergencies, carry water and first aid if needed, and ensure every dog is comfortable and secure.

Rates start at £13 for a 30-minute walk. I always recommend a short meet-and-greet first so your dog can get to know me and feel at ease. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend!

I'm currently a first year student at the University of York studying psychology. 
Although I don't necessarily have experience pet setting professionally, I have a dog back at home and I'm well versed with all the daily chores, and can also help with things such as bathing your dog, cleaning their ears, brushing teeth, etc. I only have experience with dogs, however, and would not be able to help out with cats or other animals. 
I would be more than happy to help out with dog walks, or pet sitting at your home; I just can't do pet sitting over at my accommodation, because pets sadly aren't allowed there! 
Because I'm currently quite far from home, I'd love to be able to take care of a dog and treat him/her as mine. You can be sure I'll take care of your dog with love, yet still be responsible and dedicated to the task at hand. Completing the IB Diploma has taught me how to manage my time efficiently and complete tasks effectively and promptly. I will carry this forward and ensure that everything important gets done, and that your dogs time away from you is filled with love.

I've been around animals my whole life, from cats and dogs all the way to horses and chickens. I absolutely love animals, especially my own dog. I am a university student and currently living away from home and I thought looking after and spending time with other dogs would make me miss my best friend a bit less. I love walking and it ends up being the best part of my day, adding a peaceful time to get away and focus on something that really matters! I think animals are one of life's most precious things and we are lucky to have them.
I have had my dog for 3 years now. I have experience with larger dogs, nervous dogs and even lead pullers. All is welcome as often they don't mean it :). I have often looked after and walked other dogs around my area!

I am 28 and I offer dog walking and home visits for both dogs and cats in York  I grew up with multiple pets and now have my own little kitty cat.&nbsp;I have experience working with rescue animals from volunteering at the Yorkshire Cat Rescue where I worked with kitties of all different levels of health. I also used to work at an veterinary pathology lab where I would work on samples sent from vet practices so I have a good knowledge of animal health. Service: Full day care (9-5) for your pet at your home for the price of 'one visit'. I have had dogs growing up and my parents currently have one we house trained as well as teaching basic tricks. I know that many people rescued/bought dogs during the pandemic who are now left home alone through the day.I would like to keep them company and give them cuddles and attention whilst I work from my laptop, in their home. I have also had rabbits as pets who I have litter trained. I would like to take the dogs for walks too as it helps me get exercise through the day.&nbsp;I am a lawyer so am professional and can be trusted in people's homes. I don't have many meetings so my attention will be given completely to the dog, who I expect will curl up next to me whilst I'm typing away and will enjoy cuddles.&nbsp;The reason I wish to do this is because I love pets (in particular dogs) so much and they make me happy.
