You'll also often catch me laughing at cat memes I love them whole heartedly.Meeting someone new may be stressful for your cat, so I offer a pre visit before the booking day, (uncharged) to meet your cat and get to know them as well as you.I have experience with my two cats and I have done cat sitting for family and friends before. My cat Zoe is a tabby and she's about 2 years and a half old, whilst Taro is around 2 years old. Both extremely different personalities but both such loveable cats. I am a student veterinary nurse who loves animals and is looking for opportunities to 1. get all the experience I can with different animals and 2. support myself through my studies. I have lots of experience handling animals of all sizes and breeds from my current full time work in a vets practice. I currently have a 10 year old cat who I’ve had since he was a kitten, but also grew up with a border collie dog and 2 other cats. I spent last year travelling around Australia where I was part of a similar pet sitting app, and looked after many animals in exchange for somewhere to stay. This experience made me fall in love with being able to connect with owners and pets, and some of my best memories from traveling surround this. My strengths are definitely having a lot of knowledge about animals and how to care for them, from my studies, but also having great communication with owners about their pets. I can provide references for previous house/pet sitters who can attest to my experience.

I am free on weekends and typically all day on Wednesdays. However, sometimes I work from home every couple of weeks where I'd be available Mondays and Fridays too. 
I offer dog walking, drop in visits to your home and dog sitting in your home. I unfortunately don't host any animals at my home due to my own pet who wouldn't tolerate any other animals. When dog/house sitting for you, I can provide full time care to your pet and they will not be left home alone at any point. For drop in visits to your home, I am open to discussing how long I'd be visiting for, coming to arrangements that both parties and your pet!

**Mariel and Douglas pet love profile**
We are a couple that love all kind of animals. We have three lovely cats that came all the way from Brazil to live with us in Glasgow. The oldest is 5 years old and the youngest has 1 year.&nbsp;
We did some catsitting back in Brazil for friends and family. Mariel had some experience with birds and owls. We've learned a lot about cats so we are usually pretty welcomed by them (even the shy ones). We have experience with anxious cats as our younger was rescued from the streets and was really frightened of humans before trusting us. Mainly they just need their own time to get things going. 
**About the visits**
Our visits take at least 30 minutes and we clean the litter box, change the pots of water and feed them. After they finish eating we pet and play until they get enough of us! We are currently not offering two visit a day but we can arrange a part-time visit in which we stay a couple of hours at your place. We are more than pleased to send you as many pictures and videos as you want.&nbsp;
Douglas knows a few training techniques. Mariel can administer oral medications and trim cats' nails.

I have worked with a variety of dogs and cats and have been entrusted ￼to look after them by their owners. 
I prefer to do solo walks or dogs from the same household and I'm happy to walk bigger dogs. I can do group walks on request. 
I can do home "pop ins". I can feed pets and administer medication after consultation. 
Due to having my own pup I am unable to board pets in my home. This may be something I can revisit in the future.

I have always been an animal lover, having grown up with dogs all my life and having worked at a refuge for cats and dogs in Greece run by my uncle. I have a natural affinity with animals and am very patient and caring. Having lifelong experience of looking after dogs, I am able to keep control of them during walks without resorting to shouting, and am very aware of the specific needs of different types of dog, whether that be lengths of walks or quantities of food. I have also looked after friends' cats while they've been away, and love to play with them and keep them company!
