I have been a dog sitter since the age of 16. This was when I had the opportunity to look after my next-door neighbour's dog every weekend. I was very focused on making sure the owner was happy with the routine I had set out for her dog so that the dog would feel at ease in everyday life with their owner.  
I have worked with some very sound anxious dogs that bark at the smallest of noises, by overcoming their troubles I like to get more familiar with everyone a few weeks in advance before the house sitting begins just so you the owner &amp; dog get to know me more for you're own reassurance.

Hi! My name is Ida and I live in Southampton with my partner and our cat Elrond.

I've had cats all my life, which has made me a massive cat lover and given me a lot of knowledge about how to look after them so they stay happy and healthy. Although I'm new to Pawshake, I have been a cat sitter for almost two years. Having looked after many different cats, I appreciate that every cat has its own lovely personality and individual needs. You can count on me to offer your cat lots of cuddles, but also respect their personal space!

I'm responsible, organised and reliable, and my schedule is flexible as I work from home.

It's important to me that your cat feels safe and happy. If you book me as your cat sitter, I will arrange to meet with you and your cat beforehand for free, give your cat fresh food and water daily, clean the bowls and litter trays, make lots of time for play and cuddles, and send you daily updates and photos.
I'm also happy to water the plants, collect the post and take the bins out if needed.

Pet care has been an integral part of my life since I was a kid, looking after not just my own, but also friends' and family's dogs, cats, rabbits and more. I am able to walk, feed, clean and cater for many different personalities, as I know just how unique each animal is. Although I am not certified, I am proficient in administrating medicine such as pills due to experience with my own pets and would be happy to do so for others within reason.
I currently work part-time in the evening but generally have large availability to walk, feed and care for any pet in the mornings and afternoons when working, but any time of the day when not (week dependent please contact me for more specific details).

Hi my name is Lisa, I am an experienced pet owner, walker and sitter. Currently mum to a 6 year old border/lakeland terrier cross, She is a rescue dog who had not been walked or socialised but is now thriving and loving her adventures! I also have over 10 years experience with Rhodesian Ridgebacks, having previously owned 1 and lived with another. I had my Ridgeback from a puppy and therefore know the uinque challenges of caring for larger dogs, especially when they are young!
I am city based with my own dog friendly transport, fully insured and can be available for weekend walks as well as Monday to Friday.

Hello, I'm a math teacher. I've always had a soft spot for animals; growing up, I had the pleasure of sharing my grandparent's home with a variety of furry friends. However, in 2017, my life took a turn when I came across two tiny kittens, barely two weeks old, abandoned by their mother. I couldn't leave them, so I took them home and became their mother. That meant not only feeding them but also tending to their use of the toilet, as they were too young to manage it on their own. Now, those two kittens are six years old, and I've learned a great deal about cats through this journey.

I've also had the privilege of looking after my cousin's dogs when they went on vacation. This involved maintaining a strict feeding schedule and keeping a close eye on their use of the toilet, as these indicators can often signal if something is amiss with a pet's health or behaviour.

I'm flexible with my services; I can make one or more visits throughout the day, or if preferred, I can stay overnight. When you're away, rest assured that your pets will be in safe hands, and you won't have to worry about a thing.
