"First time using a pet sitter and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We came back to happy and well fed cats and were kept up to date with photos of them playing while we were away. "It’s the first time that we’ve had someone visit our home to look after our little cat Elmo and I’m so happy to say that Mary was completely wonderful.
Elmo is an old boy (18 now!) and has cerebella hypoplasia so isn’t the easiest of cats to look after but Mary was very kind and loving and we both felt like he was in very safe hands.
Mary is 100% reliable and stays in touch with you as much as you want - she messaged when she arrived and left and sent photos so my mind was put at ease. I would recommend Mary to anyone looking for a cat sitter in the area - I’m so pleased we found her.

"Our cat took an instant liking to Laura when she first met her, and Laura took excellent care of her while we were away. She provided a full update each day, and we came home to find our cat’s long fur beautifully groomed. We will definitely go back to Laura if we need a pet sitter again."

"Irina is just brilliant. Our cats are both nervous and inclined to run or hide, rather than befriend BUT... Irina turned out to be a 'cat-whisperer' as shown by her regular photo/video updates showing them both happily enjoying being stroked and brushed by her as though they'd known her all their lives!!! (A very reassuring and welcome surprise for us!). Irina is dedicated and provides a very professional service. She regularly communicates and is security-conscious. Above all — she is a pet-lover who cares for, and takes the time to get to know and relate to the animals she is looking after — as well as providing for their general needs. She is an excellent pet sitter."

"Heather was a great find via Pawshake. She came to meet us before finalising the booking and then popped over to pick up the keys once everything was arranged. Heather agreed to do two visits per day and kept in touch with me by sending photos of our cat at least once a day. This was reassuring as I was concerned our cat might just take off as he tends to be nervous around strangers. Our cat was fine when we returned home and I would recommend Heather to anyone who is thinking of having a pet sitter come home rather than taking a pet to kennels/a cattery. Thank you, Heather!"

"This is the second time Meg has come and looked after our furry bunch for us whilst away and we couldn’t be happier, nor could that cats be! 🩷
Meg was very through in making sure she knew all the information before we left, kept us up to date, sent us lovely photos and even cleared up after the cats decided to knock all our candles off the sideboard (thank you again for that, Meg!)
All was peaceful upon return and the cats seemed genuinely relaxed; we were able to go away knowing they were in excellent hands and we could just enjoy our holiday. Cannot recommend enough, thank you again, Meg, and see you soon! from all of us here 🩷"

"I had an amazing experience with Debs as my cat sitter! She spent three days taking care of my cats, visiting twice a day, and went above and beyond in every way.
Even from the initial meet and greet, she struck me as incredibly pure, genuine, kind, and loving. Her dedication and care for animals were evident from the start.Debs not only kept my cat happy, but she also spent extra time with him during each visit.
She sent me regular updates, photos, and videos, which I truly appreciated, especially given past experiences where this wasn't the case. "Margarida is the best sitter I ever got in my entire life. I am a sitter myself and I grew up surrounded by animals thus I feel I have a very objective point of view.
First of all, my cat Puk Puk has got a very scary nature and doesn’t give much away - specially to a stranger. My bestie went to look after him several time and Puk started to play with her only after a week she was feeding him. (This is how scared is of people).
When Marga came to our first meet up, Puk Puk greeted her and started to play right away.
Ever since I knew she was the one.
She is professional, caring and a very loving person. I trusted her since I saw the relationship she established with my beloved Puk.
She had my house keys and while I was away she updated me on a daily basis with loads of pictures and videos and she went the extra mile by looking after my place and asking to water my plants.
I now know that when I am away, my cat won’t be stressed anymore as he found a great friend, Margarida.
I am truly grateful I finally found a great sitter and I HIGHLY recommend her to everyone who is in need of a great, loving, caring, friendly and professional sitter.

"A really brilliant service! After struggling to find a regular cat sitter we came across Pawshake and were definitely impressed. Jordan took brilliant care of our cats, Tilly and Millie and took time to get them to like him. The only thing we would have liked more of, are photos of the cats in their usual everyday environment and sharing any updates. Having said that, we came home to two very happy cats - would highly recommend Jordan and will definitely use him again. 🐈⬛🐈⬛"

"Andi was amazing. She wanted to meet Maeve before accepting the booking and was great communicating. When she visited she updated with photos so we were reassured. Andi obviously cared as she was concerned Maeve was hiding and not coming out for treats and spent time trying to help maeve overcome her nerves. Highly recommend "
